As a Bulls fan, I loved Pippen role as Robin to MJ Batman! In the Last Dance everything was aired as it happened every year including MJ problems with gambling and the criticism he received for not being political enough. I can’t understand why Pippen would think him sitting out the final play of NY playoff game wouldn’t be talked about. MJ talked how you couldn’t say his name without Scottie and that was his best teammate.
Because it ain't really about that, Pippen uses it as an excuse for his contempt/jealousy of Jordan that he's always had.

Yep Mike carried Pip during his "migraine" game 7 against Detroit, when he elected to have surgery during the regular season and his back spasms in game 6 against Utah. Also when Pip missed 2 clutch free throws in game 6 against the Pacers in the ECF. Also Pip wasnt mad at MJ when he came to his HOF inaguration and Pip personally thanked him for everything he did for him as a teammate
