I love Bob Seger. I think I told you my niece went to school with his son and I got to meet him and seen him live many times. He is awesome. Still sounds as good today as he did back then.
"What thought came into your head when this song was playing?" Honestly none, because for a good four minutes, my brain stopped thinking while I watched Tasha strutting in her chair! lol...Great reaction, you two! :)
This song was written about actress Jane Fonda (Daughter of Henry Fonda, sister of Peter Fonda, wife of Ted Turner) who had released an aerobics video set called "Buns of Steel".
I had the honor of seeing Bob again in his farewell tour a couple years ago. He still sounds as great now as he did in the 70s. He has a huge, terrific song catalog. Y'all would love any of them. I love y'alls channel! Keep up the good work. Much love from South Carolina
Tasha, u could strut to 3 blind mice and make everyone forget everything ever learned. You guts have an ear and appreciation of great music, a rare gift. I suggest giving the live version of Travelin Man/Beatiful Loser a go. Early Seger, but still resoundingly stands the test of time.
I'm 5 ft 11 inches and I'd put on my right jeans and my knee high boots w 4 inch hills and a peasant blouse and I was light completed a light hair and my friend was dark with dark hair. When we walked in the heads turned. We never bought a drink and always went home alone. But the next Sat night they'd buy us those drinks again. We all had a great time. This was 1976.
This man no matter what he was visualizating was picturing you doing it. He turned to you, and enjoyed your strut thoroughly. I could see it clearly. I did too.
One of my favorites for at least 4 decades now. Held up very well, just like yours truly. I actually always feel like he feels, yes it's about when the FINEST GAL walks by.
Old Time Rock n Roll; Ramblin Gamblin Man; I Ain't Got No Money; Kathmandu; Sunspot Baby; Fire Down Below are Bob's best songs. Every song he has is a banger, but the ones I mentioned are my favs. I've been to every Bob Seger concert that was held in the USA. Got a t shirt from each one to prove it. I'm obsessed with the man's talent.
Fire Down Below and Sunspot Baby. Also Heavy Music off of Live Bullet for "When you got a backache, go down to John R and Bush and a massage parlor will take care of you". lol
From that long ago, summer of '83. -----------Bob Seger wrote this song after watching Jane Fonda enter a room full of men, all of who were staring right at that butt. She was wearing skin tight jeans, & she was strutting her stuff. This was back in '79, & she was the inspiration for this 80's classic./ I saw Bob Seger & his Silver Bullet Band 5 times in the 70's& 80's, & he never disappointed ! Love the guy . -------------MJL, 76 y/o
You asked what this reminded us of. Around 1977/78 a friend and I went to a very large dance club with live music and a dance floor that held about 200 and the club would hold about 2,000. (and the dance floor was packed from start to finish) There was one particular woman that came in and sat at the table next to my friend and I. As soon as the music started she was asked to dance - that was almost the last time she got to sit down. After her 'strut' on the dance floor, and the song ended, I literally saw up to 20 or 30 guys guys running toward her, yelling across the whole club, yelling me, me, me, waving, trying to get her attention for the next dance. This happened at the end of every song until the band took a break. She had the absolutely sexiest strut on the dance floor anyone, myself included, had every seen. Anyway, my point, every time I hear this song, I think of that girl 'strutting' on the dance floor and the guys running across the club trying to get the next dance. And, she was absolutely stunning, thick sandy blond hair down to her waist that never seemed to get out of place no matter how much she danced. The down side to this whole thing was the girl she came in with was a bit heavier and had to sit by herself all night and was never asked to dance. I was not much of a dancer myself so I didn't ask her, but I did feel sorry for her, and looking back at it I should have anyway, but I was young and dumb - luckily I got married and don't have to dance (much) anymore - much to the wife's disappointment. If you haven't figured it out, I am a terrible dancer, but what I didn't know then, is it didn't really matter - but I am still self-conscious about it.
This guy is one of the most underrated musicians that has ever played an instrument. That might be bias on my part bcuz I grew up & have lived about a half hour from Ann Arbor where he is from. I've actually heard stories that when he was starting out that he played some concerts in Lincoln Park Michigan which is where I'm from so yea I am most fuckin definitely biased & not ashamed about it. I don't know if you 2 have done Turn the Page live version but it kicks ass as Hollywood Nights does. They're my 2 favorite Bob Seger songs
Even my mother loved her some bob segar.idk bout this one.lol. But the lady loved to dance ,so maybe..? Bn gone 6 yrs now. Memories of new yrs eve parties at our place and her n my dad dancing to bob! Thankx..bad ass riff hu?-dan-10/18/21 what a topic.Well yes!!😃😃😂😂
This song is about Jane Fonda. She was a avid fighter for women's rights and pissed off a lot of guys, but they could not deny her assets--physical and mental.
Great reaction! T was correct on this one. Keeping it in the same vibe, Bob Seger Shakedown, Don Felder Heavy Metal, & Rolling Stones Honky Tonk Woman. If you get a chance, The Who’s Eminence Front or Love Reign O’er Me. Great all around songs. Love you guys!
I guess the next Seger reaction has to be The Fire Down Below, just to complete the "banger trifecta". But after that you really should check out Mainstreet, my favourite Bob Seger song. Cheers!
If I remember correctly this song and Sheena Easton's song "Strut" came out about the same time. She put the chick side on it without the fake feminist hate. Great reaction!
you two are awesome I hope you know that. Couples goals and friendship goals at the same time just the way its supposed to be! They used this song for the Victoria's Secrets runway show - yes there is video footage lol.
One of the strippers I worked with back in the day had an outfit with chaps that really accentuated her strut and I told her this would be a perfect song for her stage set. After she heard it she agreed and always played it when she wore that outfit.
Loved your reactions to Strut and Come to Daddy I picture the barroom scenario when I hear Strut, although it may or may not have a small dance floor with a pole and amateur nights. Shake Your Magnolia by BlackBerry Smoke is fun rocker that evokes the barroom scene and the mindset.
I adore the way he looks at you when you’re “chair” dancing. It’s so sweet and cute. You always keep it classy. Love your reactions!
Your join reactions are fun to watch. You bring the best out in each other! 😄
Ya just gotta do some serious seat strutting when this song is on!
I agree
Please Try Hollywood Nights, it's a kicker and great story.
His best song in my opinion, also Feel like a Number, and Ramblin Gamblin Man
@@slainteron4027 I would like to hear Beautiful Loser or anything Bob wants to sing it's always alright with me
Love me some Seger! I’m so glad y’all are reacting to his harder, more rocking stuff.
He’s right ladies …
We do respect you , but we LOVE to watch you strut 😎❤️
Ahh brother Bob! A great road trip song is his "roll me away"......well my favorite anyway 😉
My favorite too 😃
Would love to see you guys reactions to "Down on main street"...excellent song.
Keep bob seger coming g. Good job.
He's in the Rock n Roll fame
I love Bob Seger. I think I told you my niece went to school with his son and I got to meet him and seen him live many times. He is awesome. Still sounds as good today as he did back then.
Katmandu is an awesome song, too. He has so many.
Our generation had the best music, cars and the prettiest girls
Bob Seger's Fire 💥 Lake is another great song. Y'all are always entertaining.
Thank you guys for doing more Seger, he’s my favorite artist
He’s one of the greatest
"What thought came into your head when this song was playing?"

This song was written about actress Jane Fonda (Daughter of Henry Fonda, sister of Peter Fonda, wife of Ted Turner) who had released an aerobics video set called "Buns of Steel".
I think of this when I see a great female artist not only rocking it, but also owning the moment.
This is one of my favorites
I had the honor of seeing Bob again in his farewell tour a couple years ago. He still sounds as great now as he did in the 70s. He has a huge, terrific song catalog. Y'all would love any of them. I love y'alls channel! Keep up the good work. Much love from South Carolina

T cracks me up. He has a silly sense of humor and I love it
Horizontal Bop and Betty Lou should be next…..
I believe, if I'm not mistaken, this song was written about Jane Fonda back in her "Barbarella" days.
Please, no.
You're right. It was written about Jane Fonda.
I named my daughter after Bob Seger . One of the best singer song writers of all time
I love how ya'll got into this song. Reminds me of the days in the 70's, when I "strutted" to all of Bob segers music.
It's a confidence song
I'm 5 ft 11 inches and I'd put on my right jeans and my knee high boots w 4 inch hills and a peasant blouse and I was light completed a light hair and my friend was dark with dark hair. When we walked in the heads turned. We never bought a drink and always went home alone. But the next Sat night they'd buy us those drinks again. We all had a great time. This was 1976.
Now you hang out in front of the liquor store begging for money
That was beautiful! He KNOWS you've got that strut! It was in his eyes and smile. 😍
"They do respect her but/butt they love to watch her strut." Great play on words.
This man no matter what he was visualizating was picturing you doing it. He turned to you, and enjoyed your strut thoroughly. I could see it clearly. I did too.
Never was a stripper but I`ve always said if I was this would be my song :) Keep On Rockin'
definitely has a "stripper" vibe to it.
This was definitely a top stripper pick back in the day. The ladies loved to hit the stage to the cadence of this tune.
Thank you for sharing this with me
Fire Down Below , You’ll Accompany Me, Still the Same so many more!!!
One of my favorites for at least 4 decades now. Held up very well, just like yours truly. I actually always feel like he feels, yes it's about when the FINEST GAL walks by.
I love Bob Seger. So cool. Thanks
Her Strut, Thanks guys, so many Bob songs, how about Fire down below, This was played alot back in the 70s, great reaction
"Roll Me Away" is another of his GREATS.
That's a Night Out on the way home and to the bed music.
Bob is Legend. Just puts you in the scene of the music so well.
My all time Seger song!!

T, Don't let Tasha get away!!!!!!!

😂😂😂 I love y'all's takes on the song
T hit the nail on the head with his thoughts on this one! I was in high school when this was releasted,LOL

Love you guys so fun to watch react
Next should be Horizontal Bop.
Great song! I haven’t heard this in a while. Thanks, guys.
Either this or Come to Papa
Tasha if you strut to this T might survive the night lol, and after seeing T's face yeah you would be in trouble
Every Bob Seger song is good.

A lot of people don't know this but , Bob Seger wrote that song about Jane Fonda .
Another Seger tune you will like is Betty Lou's getting out tonight. Fun song. Great reaction and kill forward to more.
I love your guys' strut!!!! Sitting down too!
This song is about Jane Fonda. She was a avid fighter for women's rights and pissed off a lot of guys, but they could not deny her assets--physical and mental.
“Fire Down Below” is one of Seger’s best bangers!
We've Got Tonight
Love it!
My favourite Bob Seger song is Shakedown.
This is about Jane Fonda. Bob watched her walk away. 🔥
Gretchen Wilson does a good cover of this song! 👍
Not only do I love this song it always makes me think of the movie Fast Times at Ridgemont High 💙🤘
Bob had so many hits.
You guys are always a good time.
Keep Rockin
Keep Struttin!!!
Let's Go!!!!

I guess the next Seger reaction has to be The Fire Down Below, just to complete the "banger trifecta". But after that you really should check out Mainstreet, my favourite Bob Seger song. Cheers!
When ever there is a lovely woman in the same room hearing this song, it sounds even better!
Awesome song ,love him.
Alot of swagger and grease in that voice!
There's only one thing I love more than country music and that's classic rock and that includes Bob Seger
Yes!!
You guys are funny!! Great reactions!
Actually they did a Video for Victoria Secret Models Struttin Down The Walk Way
To this song
Defer is a living legend. He's from the "motor city" and has been inducted into the Michigan R&R and national R&R halls of fame.
I love this song 🎵. .thx for sharing ❤
"Fire Down Below" 🔥
If I remember correctly this song and Sheena Easton's song "Strut" came out about the same time. She put the chick side on it without the fake feminist hate. Great reaction!
Tasha, you strut whenever and all you want, sweetie !!!
Great reaction 🤣
I doubt Bob Seger was thinking of runway models when he wrote this in 1980. Great reaction to a classic.
She needs to get up and strut to that! We'll watch.
you two are awesome I hope you know that. Couples goals and friendship goals at the same time just the way its supposed to be! They used this song for the Victoria's Secrets runway show - yes there is video footage lol.
theres only one thought ever came to my mind everytime i listen to this song!
if ya have to guess you'd never get me! lol
Prince has a song called, “Strut” also. Very different as only Prince could do it. Worth watching.
Bob Seger is one of those underrated Greats of R&B based Rock & Roll from the 1970s-80s
Hopefully, he's getting his just due nowadays.
Are you not aware of how big Bob was? He was very much appreciated.
Love 💜
One of the strippers I worked with back in the day had an outfit with chaps that really accentuated her strut and I told her this would be a perfect song for her stage set. After she heard it she agreed and always played it when she wore that outfit.

Shake Your Magnolia by BlackBerry Smoke is fun rocker that evokes the barroom scene and the mindset.
When i was a kid and this song was playing in the house, I always thought it said "strip" instead of "strut", lol.
Victoria Secret used this song for a televised show, your spot on
😎 "sun spot baby"
