- An incredible 2 day adventure to a most picturesque location called El Valle Anton. The mountain landscape there is so diverse, we couldn't believe our eyes! Great place for hiking and bird watching etc. We stayed at an AirBNB location that was pretty lovely, made us want to stay longer! We'll definitely be back.

Rich, that town of El Valle is located in the crater of a volcano, which explains the dramatic topography all around. That second trail looked very challenging but so very rewarding! Thanks for taking us along for the adventure.

I've been to El Valle de Anton many times, but have never had the chance to hike La India Dormida hill (Sleeping Indian Hill). Seen it from above you can really appreciate the extincted volcano's crown and crater. Amazing!!! ❤

What is the temperature of the water there in the falls?
At El Valle, not bad at all. Around 22 to 25 Celcius. The waterfalls in Boquete on the other hand, COLD!!! But not completely unbearable...
