It's summer 2022 and we are kicking it off with a trip to Lake Placid for Summer Weekend.
We drove up Saturday morning and spent the summer weekend in the Adirondack Regions for the first time. In this video we share a few places worth adding to your itinerary when visiting Lake Placid in the Summer.

As someone who has been to Lake Placid many times, I agree with all of this. I’d like to add a few things:
-a trip inside the Herb Brooks arena is a must.
-the Lake Placid Pub and Brewery has great food and beer.
-Players restaurant is very good
-the Hampton Inn is one of my favorite places to stay
-The Lake Placid Olympic training center is pretty cool to check out on bad weather days.
-views from the ski jump are amazing.
-the Olympic torch is cool to see even though it can be a little anticlimactic. It’s small.

The first time we went up there 3 years ago we stayed on Mirror Lake at the Golden Arrow. It was beautiful. Such a fun long weekend we had.
