Sir how to choose the right fitting to match the profile
great video sir, thanks for knowledge . i am just starting my career in facades, ur video helped me lot.
Glad to hear that
I see all the load of glass is on epdm, does that not make the facade weak?
Good question. The function of epdm in advanced façade sistems is exclusively to provide stress distribution to load bearing components such as a pressure plate (for suction loads) or a part of the mullion/transom. Of course, the epdm dimensions must be checked in order for it to not tear and pop out due to excessive compression. Direct contact between glass and steel or aluminum is always avoided, as it induces stress concentrations on the glass, which ultimately leads to crack formation even with low loads acting on the glass. Hope it helped!
Very informative. Thanks
You're welcome
Amazing session of TB System
Thanks a lot @shaikh Nizamuddin
Very useful👍👍
Thanks a lot
How can we know the heat capacity of the whole system, to simulate how much heat the facade will store in glass-aluminum facade ?
Filxo is the software used for these application
nicely explained.
Thanks
well explained sir 👌👌
Thanks Asash
Nice one
Thanks a lot
