Kimmy' own feeling of not wanting a 3rd dog probably should have been enough in itself. I think people seem to forget as well the commitment and longevity involved when bringing an animal like this into your life. You could be looking at anywhere from 7 to 15+ yr. That's a long time. If done right it's a joy. If not it can be a nightmare. Sure you can always get rid of the animal but that's not fair to the animal, especially when considering that there's a good chance the incompatibility and the issues at hand lay rooted in the humans unwillingness or unpreparedness to make room for the animal. Don't get me wrong. It can be very rewarding but it's definetly not for everyone. If you're having doubts give them some serious thought.

I say this with total love for all of these people, and for Smosh, but it's *really* important to note that is all cool as long as you're only using it for entertainment purposes. It can be fun to hear people read tarot cards or talk about magic crystals, but there are too many people who use these tactics to take advantage of people, take their money, capitalize on their grief, etc. Be careful -- be entertained, but realize that nobody should be charging you tons of money for this kind of services, and you definitely shouldn't be making major life decisions based on it!
THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT COMMENT. Im literally engaging so it goes up cause OMG its so important!! Nobody is saying people cant find this entertaining, but giving people like this a lot of your money, making crazy changes in your life because of it and stuff is super dangerous and damaging. No matter what you believe in, you will never know if the person in front of you is the real deal or just someone who is using psychology and body language to "read" you and tell you what you want to hear and take your money.

Well yeah they didn’t explain it but the psychology behind a pendulum is that because the slightest movement will make it swing, you can use it as a way to manifest your subconscious - basically, you probably know what the answer should be deep inside, so you will subconsciously move it in that direction, which is why I’d say you can’t really do a reading for someone else like she’s doing. Tarot is a different story, since you’re just there to draw and explain the cards, and it relies on the person you’re doing the reading for to interpret it in a way that’s relevant to them.

I'm in a class right now to work towards becoming a psychic medium, and our amazing teacher has the same tarot deck Erma was using! It's called the Seer of Light I believe. My classmate and I were doing practice card pulls for each other last night, and she actually pulled a few of those cards for me as well. It was really fascinating to hear another person's interpretation of the cards, and it made me understand them better and how they apply to my own situation. It's great that she actually explains the tarot cards in reverse like she's suppose too. I've seen a lot of scammers flip the cards up right all the time.
There is no 'supposed to' - people can read how they want! It did after all get its start as a card game :) Reversed cards even in esoteric tarot didn't come until later! Use 'em if you like 'em - don't judge when there's no fixed way to read in the first place. Jettison some of that Hierophant energy!
As one who does pendulum work a lot, it happens. The pendulum moves and the hand moves along with it, amplifying the energy. Alternatively, it could be picking up energy. How pendulums work is they follow the natural flow of energy and intuition, so if you know that there’s no harm or no danger, your intuition will inform your body, thus moving the pendulum. Pendulums can’t guess the future, they act more as a megaphone for your deepest thoughts.

@@ermaluvvie People can test to see if their elbow would move if they tried to move their hand. It's 100% a fact, that with small enough movements, you can make the pendulum sway in whichever direction you so chose. I suggest using your fingers more, that way you are able to completely take out a lot of the wrist movement and make it seem more natural.
I think the tarot is an interesting exercise in self reflection it's less what the cards mean and more what they mean to you that matters. The story that they tell can give you a good framework to get some perspective on where you are and where you're going.
I would love to have a cold read of Olivias on screen persona, they would have a haaard time. Also, that tarot reader is really bad at making it look like the pendulum look like it moves by itself.
The Tarot. Last time I dabbled in it, I read the description of the card positioned, and just let the person glean from it what they will. No mind game no coaxing. Truthful. No false gods either. That pendulum thing though... hoo boy. Not touching that, too much potential to misguide.

Not gonna lie, was hoping once they said they wished they had someone to read their fortunes, that shayne was gonna pop up with a new character. But once courtney said she was glad it wasn't the chosen i thought about not writing this. But thats not the way of the mystic arts and the Chosen is a fricken gawd.
At the end Erma mentioned reoccurring numbers... last night I actually came to the realization that the number 5 has popped up a lot in my life, both in my conscious and subconscious(my dreams). Apparently 5 is supposed to be a positive number but whenever it happens to pop up, I'd say that I don't feel the positive vibes people speak of. Say what you will about tarot, I think you have to take what you hear and apply it to the specifics of your life, but I had a strong urge to get a tarot reading and what I heard gave me a month's heads up on a medical issue that I was able to get checked out/addressed before it became more serious. I'm really grateful to the person who did the reading for me. I don't think I would have gotten a second opinion (the first medical provider I saw dismissed my concerns, the second one ran blood tests and found something wrong) if I hadn't gotten the reading.

As a practitioner this was honestly hard to watch. The tarot part looked fine but the pendulum segment was obviously being manipulated by the guest and it is offensive to the community to see that happen. She needs to learn how to be authentic and not force things just for show.
Thing is, if you think Tarot and Astrology are bs, then you've gotta remember: how often have you thought about your life? Like really considered it? In the very least, Tarot and Astrology will get you into the mindset of confronting the hard questions in your life, whether or not it's _physically real_. I've had my tarot read once, as a kid. It said that I would grow up to be a pirate. But seriously, reading the future by tarot or crystals or whatever is all bull. The Reader is just reading her customers and telling them what they expect to hear.
Tarot cards aren’t necessarily to predict the future. Sometimes it’s a reflection on what is happening in your life and a way to guide you. It can be a warning on what’s to come or tell you of choices you may need to make. Or even just describe you as a person.

I think tattoo artistry is much the same. You can get mentored in both fields but there's a lot of self taught people too. That's the first one I thought of

Tarot is fun and all, but you can absolutely see the intent and muscle movements in her arms during the pendulum segment. Pretty spooky!

majority of people i know are skeptics, and anytime i'm doing readings either for myself or for someone else, those ppl are always there to make fun of it. i know that they have their beliefs and i have mine, but they're always just so invasive and rude that it just becomes so emotionally frustrating and exhausting. seeing this vid and all of the girls' positive energy towards the reading and Erma makes me so happy. idk if any of them are skeptics, but even if they are, they were so respectful and kind which is such a good energy to have during readings. i needa find me some ppl like this istg i got hyped just watching them get hyped

I'm in a class right now to work towards becoming a psychic medium, and our amazing teacher has the same tarot deck Erma was using! It's called the Seer of Light I believe.
My classmate and I were doing practice card pulls for each other last night, and she actually pulled a few of those cards for me as well. It was really fascinating to hear another person's interpretation of the cards, and it made me understand them better and how they apply to my own situation. In particular the 5 of pentacles reversed.

There is no 'supposed to' - people can read how they want! It did after all get its start as a card game :) Reversed cards even in esoteric tarot didn't come until later! Use 'em if you like 'em - don't judge when there's no fixed way to read in the first place. Jettison some of that Hierophant energy!

As one who does pendulum work a lot, it happens. The pendulum moves and the hand moves along with it, amplifying the energy. Alternatively, it could be picking up energy. How pendulums work is they follow the natural flow of energy and intuition, so if you know that there’s no harm or no danger, your intuition will inform your body, thus moving the pendulum. Pendulums can’t guess the future, they act more as a megaphone for your deepest thoughts.

@@ermaluvvie "If I were to move the whole arm the elbow would move", It was very clear to me in the video that you were using your wrist to move it. I love tarot cards and I'm a very spiritual person, and I wanted to believe this video, but I wasn't able to for this reason.
@@ermaluvvie People can test to see if their elbow would move if they tried to move their hand. It's 100% a fact, that with small enough movements, you can make the pendulum sway in whichever direction you so chose.
I suggest using your fingers more, that way you are able to completely take out a lot of the wrist movement and make it seem more natural.
I think the tarot is an interesting exercise in self reflection it's less what the cards mean and more what they mean to you that matters. The story that they tell can give you a good framework to get some perspective on where you are and where you're going.

Say what you will about tarot, I think you have to take what you hear and apply it to the specifics of your life, but I had a strong urge to get a tarot reading and what I heard gave me a month's heads up on a medical issue that I was able to get checked out/addressed before it became more serious. I'm really grateful to the person who did the reading for me. I don't think I would have gotten a second opinion (the first medical provider I saw dismissed my concerns, the second one ran blood tests and found something wrong) if I hadn't gotten the reading.
so they got lucky with a guess. Tarot isnt real and is nothing but pure entertainment. Im glad it worked out for you but most of these people are con artist who take advantage of peoples suffering.

I think Tarot is pretty cool and presenting symbols to a person open to it can make them realize patterns in their lives, regardless of anyone's beliefs. That said, after The Hermit goes the Wheel of Fortune, not The Star like Erma said.

As a practitioner this was honestly hard to watch. The tarot part looked fine but the pendulum segment was obviously being manipulated by the guest and it is offensive to the community to see that happen. She needs to learn how to be authentic and not force things just for show.

Tarot cards aren’t necessarily to predict the future. Sometimes it’s a reflection on what is happening in your life and a way to guide you. It can be a warning on what’s to come or tell you of choices you may need to make. Or even just describe you as a person.
