Nice review; I'm running a similar setup downrange. I modded mine to use the MOS Tactical First Spear Retrofit; comfy as f*ck. The pack will fit an OpsCore FAST helmet w/cover (Agilite).
Good review! I personally think the gen 1 back pannel is much better. The mag pouches that hang over don’t do it for me. The hang over.. ew haha! I see the functionality for some tho!
EOD Fish gracias! Have you tried the AVS 1000 pack yet? Sorry if you’ve posted a review and i missed it... still learning the ins and outs of UA-cam and I’m a bit of an idiot.
Brandon Norem I have one but haven’t put it through it’s paces yet. I want to do a backpanel video here but have a PCS rapidly approaching and probably don’t have time prior.
Any idea what bladder size would fit along with a helemet. I have my old USMC issued 3l one seems like it would take up most of the space. I purchased a knockoff to try it out but it has no stretch and no overhang. Maybe you could answer before dropping that kinda cash on the the legit one.
@@EODFish No worries man, if you google CIEA nothing comes up. When you put CIEA metal detector theres on on Ebay for $400. Pretty cool. I just got an AVS and im having all kinds of adventures out at 2am and 3am. No ones out, not even homeless, the bars are all shut down. I feel like Im in resident evil real life.
Thank you, you saved me $200 the main reason I was going to get this back panel was to run (2) 7.62 SR25 Mags left and right
Yeah, they absolutely won’t fit. I think AWS has what you need though.
TYR tactical sells a dual pouch that will fit 762 mags on the back
@@YukarisGearReviews Thank you I found that helpful.
@@YukarisGearReviews hate to Necro this but I checked around and no one seems to have the horizontal 7.62 pouches that fit on the rear plate carrier
@@dongregory4496 See if TYR will make you a custom one- Crye also has a side pull mag pouch that might fit 762 mags

What would I do without this guy
Amazing overview
Is the CIEA easy to access by yourself? It’s just a challenge getting back in by yourself?
I was more or less only showing the capacity. I’m sure it could work but that wouldn’t be my preferred way of carrying it.

recommendations on whether or not running this with a 117g and a bladder is suitable for this bag?
This is a foul on my part but I have no idea how the radio would fit as I have never been burdened with one. Let me fix that and get back to you.
@@EODFish did you ever get around to rocking a 117G in this?
@@Southhog12 I don’t have access but I’m building a template to check fitment. Nearly complete.
@@EODFish thank you man. You are a treasure to the entire community (fires and ordnance alike)
That’s incredibly overstated but thank you.
didn't hear you mention the capacity of the hydration pocket
I neglected to because it has been so long since I have bothered with a bladder at all. I’ll try to follow up when I can.
@@EODFish much appreciated, considering picking one up myself.

It will fit a 3L if it is the short variant. I wouldn’t want to put a helmet in there though.
@@EODFish awesome ill stick with advice and just use this knockoff to hold the bladder and find another way to take a helemet to larp at the range
What shoulder pads are those? I looked at your previous answer to someone else but can't find those pads anywhere.
They are Eagle pads. First Spear also made nearly the exact thing as well.
I just dont rly get how they can charge what they do just for a zip on pack.
Does this Molle to the plate carriers in the army?
No, it is Crye compatible zip on.
Can you tell me if this pack is compatible with ALL cry plate carriers? I have the SPC airlite edition
It is compatible with all their rigs that have zippers. You just need to match the sizing one up or one down.
I’m probably late but here is size chart www.cryeprecision.com/Resources/en/SizeCharts/BLCZP.htm
Crye spc and jpc accessories are fully compatible
Super badass!
Thanks man!
what size bladder can you use the pack?
Anthony Cardoza I’d assume but he size of it, a 3L would fit fine
What hydration pack would you recommend for the pack panel? I have a Source WXP 3L hydration pack. I'm hoping it will fit.
All bladders will fit if you only fill to that size.
@@EODFish Thanks! Good to know!
Awesome review thanks
Do you know if this pack will attach onto the zip back of the Ronin Assaulter Lite plate carrier?
No idea on that one. Sorry.
Could you fit a standard issued helmet in there ?
Yes but nothing else with it. I wouldn’t do that unless you only had the bag for helmet storage.
Any reason why this wouldn't fit a Ferro Concepts FCPC V5? Looking for back panels for my kit and am looking at this or spiritus assault panel
I'm curious as well. Does this fit a Spiritus or Ferro PC?
Apparently large crye zip panels/packs fit on a medium fcpcv5
Do you use the molle webbing attachments on the back of the pack or just secure it with the zippers?
I use everything on the top half, I just skip the bottom molle snaps as they seem to line up with the vertical webbing for the cummerbund.
What shoulder pads do you have on your plate carrier?? Nice setup
I think they are either the Eagle “Assault” or First Spear variant.
What's with the description??
No idea
Can’t wait to run this with all my acu shit
Whats a cheetah?
CIEA
BringItHard it’s a compact metal detector for the most part.
BallZakc thank you very much! His reply left me still scratching my head I assume guess I’m not meant to know.
BringItHard sorry. I thought I had given enough to clarify.
