Excellent video & explanation of the laws. Just one addition, please remove or push in (which ever applies) these mirrors when NOT towing. You can be done for being over width if you come across a copper having a bad day.
Ok so I have a lifted truck with towing mirrors but I only extend them wen towing , and wen not they are put back in and while I drive in any road I take in consideration that the line that separates me from the other driver so that means I have to be rite in the center of the road if I have two other lanes on each side but when it’s just one way there when way back, I would have to scoot to the right a little bit to not hit the other oncoming driver but other people don’t take them into consideration I got hit like that and they still think they are correct for driving the way they did. What do you think?
Extended mirrors when not pulling a trailer tells others that the driver has intent to harm pedestrians and bicyclists which usually results in maiming and death.
Thanks Steve, clearest explanation of legal requirements for mirrors I have seen👍
Very welcome!

Are these regulations Australia wide? Or is it different in each State? Here in WA people say you need towing mirrors when towing anything??
This does apply Australia wide.
How about a video on cleaning your screens on the windows without damaging them.
It's coming Shane...thanks
MSA Mirrors are the way to go
Could not agree more! we unfortunately did not have any here at the time of filming this to show just how good they are.
Unless you want camera, heated, power fold etc

A pox on whoever told UA-cam content creators that they MUST have annoying music playing in their videos
