Now the #salvage #hyundai #i30n is nearly ready for the next stage of the build we had a few small improvements to make first. Including replacing the damaged air box, a new exhaust, adding more power and setting up the geometry of the car.

For me, the best sounding exhaust for these is the standard factory one.
Bens basically a master tech with the amount of certificates he’s got now
Nice build but I would skip the "plug-in" tuning softwares and do actual dyno tune.
Exhaust is awesome! On my to buy list! Should plasti-dip the engine cover and change the pipes to match the performance blue of the car! Cant wait for the next vid!

if it has an opf delete wouldn't that need to be tuned so that it doesn't have an engine light? possibly already tuned
Many Opf and Dpf cars can simply set a bit in the ECU so the car will not check for it. So you don't need to tamper with the ECU other than setting a "opf off".

Pretty sure it was fully stock the pre-facelift didn't come with gpf's only the facelifts
Its got rpm performance printed on the gpf delete. Its when they have a circular fuel filler cap they are non gpf

I don't know if this depends on your country, but at least in central europe opf were standard from 2020, maybe 2019. You couldn't even get a Fastback without it at all.
I30N pops and bangs normally. Race chip box not worth it, just get a proper tune. In the 1990's resistors did what the race chip box does in fooling the car. Why not add warm air from the engine bay with a Forge kit. Tyres from Pirelli were fine on my I30N just not brilliant in the wet. Nice ideas but as most I30N owners know the car is pretty good out the box. The car sounds like my stock 2017 car sounded.

I think I may have missed that bit lol part of me loves it as it is as it reminds me of that special edition vw did of the polo where every panel was different but the other half is like hell no get it totally redone lol

Only the new Hyundais have gpf, that is a standard exhaust
Looks like it was a GPF delete as it seems like they were the pressure sensors he removed from it

with all those parts built in you already could have gone for a real softwaretuning instead of a racechip, you would have gotten way more out of it than 25hp...
I wouldnt recommend the racechip at all it blew the high pressure fuel pump and turbos in my car
