This is my second draft - nothing is set in stone it is all changeable - I took 2mins out of the PROLOGUE - there are many things I think that need tightening - transitions for example - but these will need to be worked out when rehearsing instrument changes and so on - there are 3 solos and on this version there is just the soundtrack during those sections, so they will be significantly different in performance - also the MIDI version is lumpy at best.
Score for PROLOGUE and the section that comes after the CELLO SOLO is yet to be finalised and does not appear in the score yet.
Thought it would be good to consider where we are at with the piece and discuss how it can develop change / improve / tighten and so on. Particularly interested to hear if anything is too difficult or impractical to play - very keen for the PERCUSSION SOLO to be a crash cymbal played with bow - not sure if that might be a challenge…?
