I created Talons of Destiny about 2 years ago. it started with my just making a sandwing model and going, why not? and i started trying to make my own wof game. I NEVER expected Talons of destiny to blow up the way it did, but I'm almost glad it did because it allowed me to meet some of my best friends (who i recently got the chance to meet up with after we all planned a big trip!!!) I am kind of shocked by alot of the criticism in this video. You are too sweet!!!! I didn't even think about the changing keybinds being an accessibility feature. It's something bizzle wanted to add because she thought it would be cool. Sadly, we aren't working on ToD anymore but alot of the things we learned from working on it are being carried into wofb. So, who knows what the future holds :) I personally am still not very happy with ToD but our team that carried over figured its best if we leave it in the past. we dont know what legal issues may occur if the game gets any more reach, and theres just so much stuff that's very glitchy and strange that doesn't feel worth reworking. PS. If you swim underwater and go up to the walls by the ribcage youll find a tunnel that leads somewhere... interesting
Such an intriguing origin story which yielded such amazing results for you! I hope the critiques weren't hitting personally - they're often meant to be a message to any and all developers wanting to make a great game. Besides, I knew that some of the ToD team transferred to WoFB so I was kind of hoping that those criticisms could make it to that game too haha! And keybinds are rare which is why I gushed over them so much! It's that one extra step further to make sure that everyone can enjoy the game. It's very mature to keep the project in the past, and focusing on more current projects! It's something that's hard for game developers especially if you were so so so passionate about your game. It becomes a learning experience (with or without legal trouble) and it'll help you create even better things in the future. Thank you for leaving such an amazing comment! I really appreciate you being here! I wish you the best for all of your endeavours and your future aspirations! (And I'll definitely check out that ribcage underwater haha)
I try my best to be fair in each video. Besides, ranting aimlessly doesn't get anyone anywhere. And thank you! I really appreciate your positivity here!
This game is fantastic, and I massively prefer most of the features and models to WoF Beta. While it is a shame that production has stopped, it's just great seeing this game get more love!
The game is awesome! I was surprised by all of the details of the world and features it had to offer. I'm glad to see the ToD team make it to WoFB though so hopefully we'll be getting the same/better results from WoFB now!
I found out about it several months ago (for some background footage) but hadn't done an actual review-ish. I didn't plan on making reviews haha but here we are haha
Unfortunately I can't do more game analysis videos on WoF because there's only really one more WoF game to go haha. But I'll find some more ways to make WoF content! (And maybe branch out just slightly)
I played the game a few months ago when bellasaurus ( a dev of talons of destiny and WoF Beta). It’s really good quality and fun to play but is quite laggy and glitchy. I wonder how it will be when the full release is out.
Tbh i like talons of destiny much better than wings of fire beta, sadly its not being updated anymore and there are not as many players as in wof roblox 😔
I was an Admin and one of the first people on the development server until I had a super bad episode of depression and wasn’t active for a month and when I returned I was no longer an admin and when asking about it I was told that I couldn’t be one anymore even after explaining my situation. It was two years ago but I’m still a bit salty.
I understand where you're coming from. Depression is really difficult to deal with, however, I'm sure everyone has their reasoning. And like you said, it was quite a long time ago so let's move on to more positive notes! I'm certain you'll be able to reach more and better accomplishments down the line!
This was basically me assuming. But I thought it was the rooms with the circle platforms surrounded by water; there just weren't any water pillars and electric eels in the moat

It’s no longer being updated, it’s team now is now on Wings of Fire Bata
Ah I see! Well, perhaps some of the improvements I suggested could make it to WoF Beta (if my advice is ever relevant haha!)
@@DatOneDragon You offer good criticism which is all ways useful, and love your content

@@DatOneDragonfun fact-it was made by a dev for wof beta (Goldybays)
@The_silly_kokoi Goldybays has actually appeared on this channel a couple of times! It's super cool to see devs interacting with their audience!
Some tribes do have accessories but only the Seawings and the Sandwings
Oh! That would make sense. Thanks for pointing that out

Talons of Destiny is underrated, so is Seven Thrones.
They're both really interesting games and quite impressive in accomplishing different game objectives!
I rlly love ur content. Even if I dont comment at all I still rush to watch ur new videos cuz they are rlly entertaining!
I'm really glad to hear that! Thanks for commenting, it's nice to see each and every one of my viewers here every once in a while!
i love this game, have been playing it for a while now it was hard when flying wasn’t added yet tho, but still really fun
I found out about it several months ago (for some background footage) but hadn't done an actual review-ish. I didn't plan on making reviews haha but here we are haha
personally, I like this content more than your first type of videos, but I'm still exited to see them come out with arc 4

I'm unsure if the game will fully release. The last update I had seen was from a year ago but maybe the devs are silently working on it? I'm not sure
@@DatOneDragon oh a year ago? I heard they’re currently working on the Sea Kingdom which is an entire map, that is possibly a reason.
It's possible, map design takes a really long time. Combined with work-life balance, it'll take even longer. I guess we'll have to wait and see
@@DatOneDragonThey’re work on Wings of Fire Bata, because legal issues came up. Unfortunately
Tbh i like talons of destiny much better than wings of fire beta, sadly its not being updated anymore and there are not as many players as in wof roblox 😔
It's quite an underplayed gem but I guess it's fine. I'm glad some of the team is on WoF Beta now so we can get the same quality that we got in ToD
I agree. the physics of the dragons (flight and gravity, among others) and the details of environment design are GORGEOUS.
@@forbzee8448 Right? Animations are buttery smooth and the world is amazing!
I remember playing this game once, just a fly around but it was pretty cool!
I agree! The game is good to chill out on. I'm not a big roleplayer though but I can see how it's fun for the wider role-playing community
@@DatOneDragon Yes!

The part about the accessories was weird, I made a character like a year ago, and I dripped em out
Hmm, maybe they had accessories for a little while but it could've been too buggy? I guess I'll never know haha
Wait a minute i never saw the prison
This was basically me assuming. But I thought it was the rooms with the circle platforms surrounded by water; there just weren't any water pillars and electric eels in the moat
@@DatOneDragon I just now went there and found it
Haha nice! I thought it was a pretty cool room. Funnily enough, I thought they were spas (at first) haha!
your 1 hole minute late
still like it though
I had the video scheduled so it comes out automatically but I guess the system was late haha
