18 miles? Good going, Trev! I like the route tracker footage you included as well.

Cheers, Olly. It was all level along the estuary, and I could have covered the last two miles to Barnstaple, but that stretch of the Tarka Trail was soul destroying. By the time I arrived at Fremington Quay there was a cuppa tea wih my it! Thanks for watching!

Well you covered some miles today. Knocked a rather unpleasant patch out of your coastal walk. I agree, the cliffs were a far appealing hike. I look forward to the next one. Cheers!

Thanks Max - was easy walking without any real climbs or any views to stop at. Soon covered that distance today. All the best, mate!

Reminds of the old joke, "did you hear about the new curry they've come up with called Tarka?, it's the same as any other curry, just otter"
    Badoom tish!
    I'll get my coat......

A really long walk. And so different from the usual cliffs. Very good video, and you make it exciting to watch it. Appledore looks very pretty, and I would have liked to go there last year before starting walking from Westward Ho! towards Clovelly, but there was no time. Very smart move to mix in the clips from Relive. I loved that :) And a belated Happy Birthday :-)

Yeah, I certainly got through some miles here, easy when its all so flat. I love the Relive app, as soon as I saw it late last year I had been hankering to get it and use it in the videos. Think it makes a great addition. Thanks for watching, Torunn!

Well this is different! I still really enjoyed the commentary and footage though. I look forward to seeing some of my local coastline next 😍👍

Yep - wasn't as lush as the coast has been, its true. Thanks for watching, Max - hope you enjoy the next episode! Cheers!

I really enjoyed this. It was a good video even if the scenery was a bit "industrial and smelly" on the north shore of the estuary. It brought back many happy memories. Over 50 years ago my parents took me to Devon on holiday several years running. We stayed on a farm in Woolfardisworthy...and we always spent a couple of days on the beach at Instow.

I know Woolfardisworthy (locals call it Woolsery). Probably changed a lot since then. Instow was a pleasant section of this walk, but soon passed through it! Thanks for watching, Ken!

There are are 2 Woolfardisworthy's but if you go on OS Mapping and do a search it's the "other one" that always shows shows up although both appear on the OS Map. Strange!

I make it look easy, thats all hahaha. The fact that there were no hills probably helped to lol. Cheers for watching!

Very informative video Trev showing a part of the country we have yet to visit. Have you ever seen any of Abbie Barnes videos as they are similar to this vid?

No, I'd not heard of her before - I shall make sure to check her out! Cheers Martin!

That was a long slog! I decided against walking any of the Tarka Trail a couple of weeks ago as its so featureless and monotonous, as you say, better on a bike. Good to see W Ho!, Appledore & Instow, well done Trev.

It was pretty soul destroying on that last stretch. I could have made it to Barnstaple in the time I had but by the time I reached Fremington Quay I decided I would quit early and enjoy a refreshing pot of tea. Thanks for watching!

Hey Trev! Do you have a Hammock? I been looking at some cheap ones on Amazon today! There alot cheaper then your DD or Uk Hammock's! might be worth a look for some new content ideas... Cheers Neil👍

I have a £9 hammock from Sports direct that I still have yet to try - not a camping one, but I'm sure it could set up under a tarp ok.... I would love to try at some point, but we are very rarely near trees for a camp. We should make it happen though, eh. Cheers for the comment!
