Re 5:51, then with this structural flexibility of the beloved catamaran he spoke of,shouldn't that be a concern for post install for when you need to dry dock it for maintenance or other necessities?
Great review, I think you will pick this one based on all the positive comments. Could you provide a link to the XY plot showing relative performance of the various cats. I would like to study it in more detail. Many thanks Jon.
Thank you so much for the review, there is no perfect cat but this cat comes close. I thought from the sound of the engines they were rather louder than if they was on the back deck? Yes, much safer and better to work on engines inside than outside. Would you guys think the engine sound is a deal breaker, I know you cant answer until you reveal the winner, but after announcement can you make comment on the engine noise? Yes, the St Francis has engines under the after births and I do like the hard bimini with glass and wiper over the plastic enclosure. However, this is a very nice cat and I can't seem to find a cat without compromises, which really is a pain when spending hard earned cash.
You’re most welcome! We much prefer the safety of having the engines under the aft berths. We didn’t think the engine noise was too loud at all. The St. Francis has the best enclosure with the glass plus windshield wipers. There’s always trade offs!
Sorry about that. We are new to this and we have yet to find a mic that effectively cuts out wind noise. So we end up lowering the volume to remove the distortion. Hopefully our latest Video - Bali Delivery was better. We are open to suggestions as a dead cat over the mic doesn't cut it.
Just curious, what about the video gave you the impression that the Knysna only supports Apple products? It's a boutique boat - customizable in any way that you want, that's the beauty of the Knysna catamarans!

We added a link to the multihull performance graph in the description.

Have you checked out the Xquisite X5? It’s also made in South Africa. It’s an awesome 50 footer.
The sound is too low. I checked all of my volume controls and were all up to 100%. I think best to hear this with headphones.

Love the Knysna, but you couldn't pay me to have Apple products. Do they do Android??

@@GTFOplan I didn't say they only supported Apple, rather I saw the Ipod dock and asked do they also support Android? Neither of us will touch Apple.
I have the money, this is the one!
Knysna’s are great boats!
This is a Great review, but our experience is UNACCEPTABLE.
Thank you and sorry to hear about your experiences. It's certainly wasn't ours.
