This is my first year starting seeds under lights and I am so in love watching them come up 😂 i hope to have tons of harvest this year to preserve and enjoy this time next year 🙏
We are too old to invest in a greenhouse, so we are going to try winter sowing in milk jugs, just a few seeds to try it. Really like your setup from what I see of it. We are in NNY across from Eastern Ontario. Very cold this week and enough snow.
How cold does your greenhouse get in the winter? Maybe -15C? I'm wondering if you'd be able to overwinter things like passionflower and figs in southern Ontario greenhouses. For those -10C+ would be more ideal though.
Hey Dwayne, I got it from a company called Planta. They're out of Canada but they ship across North America. I've avoided mentioning the brand because I want to give it a solid winter to know for sure whether I recommend it. But so far so good! I'll do an updated review at some point this year to share my feedback in greater detail, but if you have any questions in the meantime, let me know!
Just found you. I am trying so hard in north Texas to teach people here that you have the perfect place to grow year round like I do. Thank for the info you provide.
Awesome! Love that you're sharing the message as well. We all have our own set of gardening challenges, its just about finding ways to get past them :)

Awesome!! I love it too. It's such a satisfaction to see a plant grow from a teeny tiny seed :) Good luck in your garden this year!

Sounds great! What seeds are you thinking of trying first?
