I have following error message after choosing the Connect audio Via Computer option: “Could not join via computer. Retry or use phone to join your conference “. I have not found any resolution over the Internet.
Thanks for the video. The issue I have is I am using an audio interface with a MacBook. My SM7B mic runs through my interface and the monitor speakers are the output. For some reason, Webex does not recognize the mic. It works with every other app.
Hi Nick, somehow this is a recurring problems for Webex. Just curious, did you use the latest version of Webex app? And can also check under MacOS' System Preferences>Security & Privacy>Privacy>Microphone, see if webex appears there.
@@keemanxp Thank you for your response. I used the web app without doe listing the app, I believe. Also checked the settings and WebEx appears and is selected. Really strange. The system, under sounds, is recognizing the mic, not to mention the speakers (also connected to GE audio interface) we’re working with WebEx. Oddly enough, i had the same issue with teams the other day. It’s a new problem, because this worked before. Zoom, btw, has none of these issues.
@@nicktubach7874 Zoom is the best when it comes to this, very easy "plug-and-play" kind of approach. I can feel your frustration with Webex, but can try download the full app and give it a go?
@@keemanxp I'll try. And to your point, I really prefer Zoom. It's all I use. Occasionally, someone else requires another platform. I did have Teams downloaded and it also didn't work. The odd thing is that it worked last month. Not sure what has changed.
@@keemanxp mine, would not have any sound even though I've connected the audio computer. And usually the sound starts to come out when the meeting on the half way, like after 30 min
