I've been using that cardboard trick for years good to finally see someone else doing it. My only suggestion would be to also remove the front sprocket cover and clean around that. It's amazing how much gunk builds up there. But that has to be one of the cleanest looking chains I've ever seen, well done.
Hello Matt. Thank you :) Front sprocket I clean every 4-5times. I think, that is not necessary to clean every time, what is your opinion on this please?
@@Tommyslav1st Yeah that's probably fine then. I always do an inspection though as sometimes you can get a clump of debris build up around it which then can ruin all your hard work. To be fair you certainly look like yo know what you are doing.
Nice piece of kit, will have to look out for one for my own NT 1100 DCT. Recently purchased and will be travelling so this looks a great option for keeping the chain in good order. Cheers

ahoj Tomas, poucne video, dik. Chcem sa vsak opytat, kde sa da kupit ta sikovna vecicka na cistenie? NT1100 mam prave cerstvo objednanu, ako casto odporucs takto cistit retaz? dakujem
Good job, see you like gadgets, have you heard about the OSCO 1 second chain lubricating system? Is verry good! I ordered my NT1100 for january...hope it is on time 😁 Greetz from Belgium and happy trails.
Hello :) , Yes I’ve heard about that , but I am really not OK with that. I know guys which has it, but wheel (rear) are still dirty. So please let me know your experience when you will use it :)
I bought my NT 1100 DCT at March 22. Very great bike,i love it. 10.000 km in 2022. I clean my chain manuell. Theres no Problem. I Install the snoto Clean disc. No more oily wheels
Hello and thank you. I am using kerosene. It is great cleaner and it is still greasy so it don’t damage o-ring on chain and also still with good price against “professional chain cleaner :)
@@Tommyslav1st thank you for the information, but some people says that kerosene can damage o/x ring , is your chain oke , mate? If it is oke, i will follow you to doing clean with kerosene. Thanks mate,
@@saltlighta I am using kerosene based on infos from my friend who is lector in driving school and he also using kerosene and no problem. Just wondering why you didn’t bother cleaning the other side of the rear sprocket or lubricating the far side of the chain…? I also remove the cover over the front sprocket and clean that.
Front sprocket I checked after 3000km and it was absolutely clean. O-rings / X-rings on chain are in middlenof chain, I dont see reason why to lubricate far side especialy. I would like to see how you lubricate far/outside of chain… Rear sprocket was clean in previous cleaning. You comment isnt very friendly…

@@Tommyslav1st Hi, probably they used different wrong oil or they shortened the tube, you have to leave it at full lenght to have some backpressure.
