This was a great review of both knives. Thanks for taking the time and playing with both knives plenty! It let me really look at their size and see their function really well. Thank you!
Great video! Love the subtle background music 🎶, kinda sets the mood! Lol But I definitely believe thinness is under rated, makes a big difference in pocket
Do you own any Holt blade works knives? I was going to buy a rask but after 2X the deal didn't go through and I got the chance to buy a Morphius from the Holt's so I bought the Holt. It's about as close to perfection I've seen on a knife. I'm still damn curious about possibly getting a rask as well. Lol
Sorry to say that but the Norsman blade shape is one that only a mother can love, ugly as sin. The knife is good but can’t for the life of me understand why that shape when they can make beautiful blade like the rask. I dread thinking how difficult to sharpen that blade with recurve on the main part and the risk of rounding the tip between the main blade and the tanto like part. It’s a very polarising design either you love or hate it.
Admittedly, I don't understand the blade on the Norseman. Its edge looks concave. Maybe I'm missing something, sure seems like the antithesis of cutting performance. Not sure how I'd use the knife or why I'd want to. FWIW, I use box cutters to open boxes and to cut them up.
Yes, the Norseman is a polarizing design and I may be warming up to it. Definetely a big, bad ass knife. The Rask apeals to me and is similar to a Shirogorov F3. Since it's made in America, the F3 might have just got bumped.
How easy was it to add the extra thumb stud? I’ve been thinking about doing the same to my Norseman but I don’t want to mess the knife up doing something to involved.
I enjoy your videos - you seem very organized and thoughtful.
Thank you
Best video on these two I’ve seen. Thank you very much.

Most expensive knife I have is a Baby Banter but I enjoy watching these high-end videos. Living through others to not break the bank 😎

Thank you! Glad it helped 😁 yesss I love thin handles! I don’t like when my pockets feel all bulky 😂
@@carry_everyday_9619 same!
What a refreshing voice among knife nerds. the channel is excellent!
Thank you!!🙌🏻😁
Great overview
The Norseman is the only recurve that I find super tempting. I love how the sun burst pattern looks with that blade shape, feels very old world.
Ohhhhhh that Norseman blade shape is right up my alley. ❤️🔥
You have some pretty cool knives. Subscribed! 👍🏻
Hi, I just subscribed a few days ago but I really like your videos.
Thank you very much!!😁
Excellent craftsmanship on these knives
Both beautiful knives.
Great review, thanks!🤙🏼
I definitely prefer the look of the Rask over the Norseman
Great comparison! Grimsmo takes the lead on acid etched blades for sure 🙌
Can you address sharpening the recurve blade of the Norseman . . .?
Great looking knives! I would choose the Rask!! I like that slim design!!
Can’t go wrong either way! Thanks for watching!
i would love to see a rask with those step lines on the blade...
I wish they made a Rask with a 3 inch blade. Any suggestions for an alternative? Thanks
my ultimate grail. both! Idk how Grimsmo get any hate - these knives are perfection.

my grail. One of em. You have both!!!
If I could get either I would be over the moon, but the norseman just has more style in my opinion
Definitely has a distinct style 😁

I think I would round off the blade and not mind it.🤷🏼♂️
Yes, but just remind you it is a thousand dollar knife 😅@@MrBendayho
Beautiful knives! The Norseman is my grail knife to own.

I thought about getting a Norseman but decided to get a Herman Mantis instead
Please do a full collection video!!!! Also what do u do for a living where u can afford all this???😜
She has done a collection video & it's unbelievable.
Cool
your Gear is NICE
I love my Norseman, don’t care what the haters say.
Very few people use the Norseman the way that very adaptable blade is meant to be used. So I consider the design a failure in that regard.
How do they use it incorrectly?
I like them both but I have champagne taste with beer money.
Norseman reminds me of Kratos blades
Hell yeah love me some God of War
It's the 🐴 🐔 knife
