He died at 57 in 1923 so can only be about 54 here .. people looked much older a hundred years ago
Es cierto, envejecían antes de tiempo. Yo tengo casi 54 y él pareciera mi padre 😊
Cierto, todavía eran fuertes de edad mediana y parecían mucho mayores.
All that smoking
My father died at 57 in 1990 , he looked more like 80 , he was a heavy drinker of gin and smoked a lot. I am now 58 and look more an appropriate age.
Si parece de 75 años
Goodness, he looks much different in person as compared to his likeness in paintings I've seen. Impressive restoration.
You can get a whole diffrent idea of a person just by what sort of deciptions of them you are exposed to!
He looks way different in his rap videos
Interesting tie design and length
Shorter ties were more common for that time, usually paired with waistcoats to hide the shorter length granted
He may be the most forgotten US president of the 20th century.
Do you know why that is? 🤔
@@fifthbeatlebecause he thought that being a president was just a ceremonial title.
He did very little and died in office.
@@feraudyhAnd the little he did was only to benefit the rich.
Because he was a corrupt president that only cared about advancing his buddies political careers.
Google the Teapot Dome scandal one of the worst scandals involving government corruption it was as big if not bigger than Watergate but it's now a mere footnote Harding died under very mysterious circumstances some suspect that he was poisened probaly because he knew too much about people in high places his wife was seen destroying his personal papers some people suspect that his wife poisened him he was also threatened by a mistress scandal he was a known womanizer@feraudyh
On a mission tryna find Mr. Warren G
👏🏻

When the people dressed like humans and not slugs.
We can do that again. There are still suits available.
We can also try to convince men to SHAVE!
Enough with the beards.
All so true..college students look like what represents our world today. SAD
They still dress that way.
How does one dress like a slug I wonder. Do they strip naked cover themselves in Vaseline and use their knees and chest to scoot across the ground?😂😂😂😂
Ulysses Grant had a beard @@yvonneplant9434
The bottom of his tie is really interesting. It doesn’t come to a point like we see today. I wonder how common that was during the 20’s
It looks like a knit tie in shape but made out of thin silk
I think it could be a hat band that he’s reused as a tie.
It was simply easier to make them that way, also ties we’re usually covered by waist coats. It’s odd he isn’t wearing one
Handsome man
I can tell you one thing he was a good looking son of a gun!❤Thank you for the wonderful video!!!
Warren G. Harding : November 2, 1865 - August 2, 1923 ; 29th President of the United States - March 4, 1921 - August 2, 1923
Thank you . . . I'm checking to see if I have room in my "database" for your info😊
Thank you 😊 🙏.
Amazing photo.
Can almost feel transported to that era, then reaching out to say, Hi.
Thank you for letting us see this video
It's heartwrenching, but GREAT, to see our presidents of the past, the decently spoken, gracious souls of our history!! Thx for sharing all of these! And so many from here in ohio, too :) Sure wishing for a return to a kinder day...
Presidents, not president's.
@margot_777 my smart phone slips fixes in as I post! Forever going round and round, lol
He was involved in the teapot dome scandal, so maybe not so upstanding
Probably not the best president we ever had, but I do appreciate the footage...❤Y
He's one of the best... That's why they killed him.
Seriously, great man!
Agreed! He was no Trump.🇺🇸
@@cadaverdog1424 Neither was he Clinton
@@nwchrista who is they?
They didn’t kill him. And he was definitely not one of the best. He wasn’t horrible. But God, definitely not one of the bests.
That music is so nalstogic.
It is wonderful to see President Harding as he was in life. Thank you for this clip.
Ya, the old criminal.
Really wasn’t. Mainly the people he was friends with.
@@BumBum-kz1ub Mainly members of his administration. That's more than just "people he was friends with. Really, you need to read up on Teapot more. It also led to the right of the House Ways and Means Chair the right to the tax records of any taxpayer, including the US president (good!).
Hope you could show videos like this of clwveland and mckinley
Does that mean he was 55 in this video he looks a lot older then that I am 54 I look hugely younger than him
We take much better care of ourselves now - there's no comparison. Harding ended up dying very suddenly only 2 1/2 years into office (all kinds of rumors that he might have been murdered as all kinds of big nasty messy scandals ("Teapot Dome") were just about to hit the fan and there were all kinds of sketchy things associated with his death including they refused to do an autopsy. When I was a kid in the 50s and 60s, Harding was generally considered the worst or next to worst President because of those scandals) but Wilson who preceded him and Coolidge who succeeded him both died within a year or two of leaving office. During the 20s it was very common for people to die in their 50s and 60s - and they did look like they'd been around the block a few times
@@juanveron4544Yes!!!!
Love the photos of former presidents
…”this humiliation could easily make life at Warren G. Harding School a veritable hell.”-Ralphie😊
Thank God, some different music!!!!
Massively incompetent individual and it makes sense that few Americans know his name
He never wouldve been President if Teddy Roosevelt had lived
Omg, yes! Try to imagine that!!! TR would have been one of our greatest presidents!!! 🎉
@@yvonneplant9434He is one of our greatest presidents. He’s the Bull Moose. He’s the reason we have national parks the way they are today, built the panama canal, peacefully ended the Ruso-Japanese War, and he was the first American to win a Nobel Prize
Harding is from Ohio also. We have many Presidents that came from Ohio. I don't care about Taft or Harding.
And J.D. Vance🇺🇸
Look at that beautiful footage he looks great love his hat. I wish more men would wear hats like this now.
The Bolsheviks loved their famines, didn't they? And they were so clever at producing them, with massive mismanagement of Ruzzian and Ukrainian farm land, including the murder of peasant landowners who did not want to be collectivized.

I told this story before but its a favorite, Warren Harding loved to go to the press looking for 'action', card games. One night in the white house a hot and heavy night of card playing was taking place the prez was having a bad night, he found himself broke and no longer could continue a hand, he got up left the room and returned with the white house china and put it on the pot, (no idea how many items were there) he lost the hand and some nameless reporter left with the dishes, I'm waiting for them to turn up on Antiques Roadshow.
I found a picture plate of Warren at the thrift shop.
Waaw thanks❤❤❤❤❤
@@mumiah48can I have it 😂
Did you buy it?
President Warren Harding is look alike President Richard Nixon
Not really
I don’t think so Warren Harding was handsome, RN not handsome at all.
He was a tall and handsome gentleman.
He was a distinguished gentlemen. Handsome, hopefully gracious!
Politicians back then were so uncomfortable in front of a camera ; not anymore.
Teapot Dome and adultery plus stupidity made him one of the worse POTUSes. At least he didn't do his full term. Some might cruelly say his end was his best act as President.
Possesses the same traits of our most recent predessor😢
Trump said it's Joe the worse
The original Warren G
He died at age 57. He looked like he was 70.
Such a handsome criminal. 😢😅
Gangster
I didn't know Warren g was that old
Fabulous
He's heavier than I thought.
Enjoy your restorations. Awesome
After reading the comments I draw a conclusion for everyone. Looks older than her age due to stress, smoking 🚬 whisky 🥃. People looked older than their years.
I'll add my stomach. The stomach is always the key to health. Eating, smoking, sitting in one place and drinking will lead to premature old age.
Also he was riddled with scandals before and during his term. a little thing called Teapot dome, where his Sec of interior, Fall was selling oil drilling contracts.
Ugh, this corruption?
Through the looking glass… ✌️
The man liked dressing, you can tell
Usa president warren g harding 1921 1923 1865 1923 🙏
He weirdly reminds me of Nixon, somehow. Never noticed it before.
Amazing footage.
My man rockin The half tie action
Such a handsome man
Mens fashion never changed
He was the one who said he wish that there was an instruction book in how to be (a good, effective) president. "Normalicy" was his malprop.
He was a crook, a criminal
What a fine gentleman!
Look at this man’s skin
Crazy part he only 41 years old
I heard he liked his women. Was not faithful and had a daughter out of wedlock
True! He was a nymphomaniac.
Quanta elegância
Never should've been president in his words
Not the worst but he was easily corrupted. Care more about his friends and own speciak interests
I voted for him
He looks 20 years older than he actually was. 😊
Ohio home boy. Cronyism. Isolationist.
What’s wrong with being an isolationist is his duty to protect Americans first?
Warren G, this man was a true regulator 😎
Be nice to find a portal and go back in time
And they (the media) hated him…………
OMG!!! The OG WARREN G?!?!?!?! “REGULATORSSSSSSSSSS MOUNT UP”
I guess they didn't do annual check ups back then.....
Turned his back on The "Teapot Dome Scandal" which would have seen him possibly being impeached but he croaked.
Really interesting
Ele viveu no período do velho oeste americano . Dias muito difíceis também . A vida é um sopro ! Precisamos viver em paz e com sabedoria .
The 1920's! The wild West was over by the 1890's.
The music is from the 30’s not the 20’s
He had a very unhealthy lifestyle; excessive drinking, smoking, and all the womanizing. Plus, he had several venereal diseases that ruined both his physical and mental health.
he did like the ladies!
Your resume doesn’t stand for a Quality Man….

This is awesome! I went to a school name Warren g Harding!
Worse than Bill Clinton and his cigars
