  • Charlie Sheen has been capturing audiences for decades, not only with his acting talent, but with his off-screen antics that leave us wondering how he's even still alive. The Charlie Sheen Meltdown where he claimed to be a warlock with tigers blood has gone down in history as one of the most fascinating sagas of any celebrity, full of skyscraping peaks and valleys of despair. Was this the natural course of a famous Hollywood party boy, or a desperate cry for help?

Martin was unemployed for 2 years around L.A. in the 1970s. During that time his drinking buddy was a childhood neighbor of mine, painter Charlie Marvill. I once asked Charlie whether casting departments gave preference to homosexual actors. He thought carefully, to pick his words, then said, "No, but they are expected to do things that they would not ordinarily do, in order to further their careers."

I thought it was important to include this, not often you see grown men being so candid and open about their emotions. I think he honestly tried to love his own kids best he knew how, but there was obv a generational curse there, with the alcoholism..
Also sheds some light on why all his kids ended up in film, he was not encouraged as a youth, so he was extra supportive and encouraging to his kids to get into the industry. Just goes to show even the most rich and famous people can have a soft and humble side.

I met Charlie Sheen in the 80s. He was volunteering at a soup kitchen with his dad.
I was waiting to go in and eat. I saw a guy in a baseball cap. Some guy admired his watch. He took it off and handed it to the guy. Then Martin called him in. He got up to go in, the guy called after him, "Your watch , man." Without turning, Charlie said "Keep it, I got a drawer full." And just went in.
I hold this memory. He is much more, than what the media portrays.

I havent watched the whole thing but I have to say, we need more education on addiction, personality disorders and the effects of family dysfunction. as a woman w a personality disorder it does really seem to differ across gender lines but sadly almost all pd's are virtually incurable and wreak havoc in your life. that's why while I am disgusted by everything Charlie and other celebs like him have done, especially as a woman, I deep down understand that they are sick, disturbed people who likely experienced trauma that broke them in the first place. I feel kind of similarly about Kanye West and Jim Carrey who have similar tendencies to Charlie- and all 3 have had some kind of existential breakdown and demonstrated abusive behavior. It's unfortunate what mental health can do to a persons life and those around them

Really? You sure went into detail and complimented him on detail yet he failed to mention a very important point. A boy was molested on the set of the movie Lucas. This is why this drug addicted child molester gets away with this. I really can't comprehend how this is ignored.

@@tezzmosis I will concede that I couldn't watch the entire video. If you touched on it then I would say okay great but I think you glorified a known pedophile. You certainly didnt touch on it while covering the Lucas era or that timeline. I sure hope you covered these many allegations of child molestation of Corey Haim who is now deceased coincidentally from drug abuse his entire adult life. Clearly he was covering some type of severe pain. If you do not cover this I would seriously think about a part 2. No biggie if maybe you just wasnt aware. Just give all sides if you may not believe the accusations that has come from both Corey's. There was another clip that bothered me also. That was with Moon pie or pinky Brewster. Lol. Dont feel like googling. She was stating how she had such a crush and that she lost her virginity to that pedophile. How old was she? Borderline at best. I dont think she even realizes it today. He was much older and she was 16 or possibly 15. Idk.

Yes he should have told all of his partners! No one was infected thank goodness, more evidence he wore a condom - he had sex with a lot of women. Not necessarily... his brother Emilio has never been accused of anything like it and they were both in the movie industry from an early age on. And his father is an actor too, so he probably knew the inner workings of the business well enough to keep his children from harm. Of course anything and everything is possible but not all sexual predators have been molested themselves as children. I think the whole concept of reducing the blame from someone because he may have had it rough in life is highly questionable. I mean where would you start blaming? If someone is molested, his molester is not to blame because he was molested as well and so was HIS molester back in the day and the list could go on and on... people should be made responsible for their actions, that's all there is to it.

Yes 100%, that's why I went more into his father's past as well, it obviously played a huge role in Charlie being so maladjusted as a human being. Not many people's lives are played out on the world's stage, but there are many themes of human struggle and poor conditioning from parents, the struggles with addiction and childhood trauma.
Money and fame clearly does not solve these deep seated issues. If anything, Charlie is the perfect example that. The more money and fame he acquired, the worse he got. Finding that having it all still left him feeling empty.

@@lorimiller4301 ive also heard that that draw, to fame or success or whatever accomplishment, out there, up ahead, keeps them striving, they think obtaining their goal will allow them to stop & savor the victory & when it doesn't do that, they are more confirmed than ever that they are flawed, broken damaged goods, that must be so, they reason, otherwise, why wouldn't they feel fulfilled, & that answer makes them feel even more miserable, hopeless & beyond healing than ever, desperate.
Edit ;ive kind of been there to a way lesser degree, but the addictions, when ur suicidally desperate, i think kept me alive, then, merci fully, something has to give guess i was ready to let it , the full weight, all come down, &am here for whatever while left to this life, like everyone else here... working out our karmas, but i do believe that if an addiction is faced down & made to back off, this is worth something very real, even if no-one sees or knows, there has always been someone with us, we are none of us ever alone.

Thanks for making the vid, man. Charlie Sheen's life is the embodiment of a cautionary tale. From the outside, he seemed to have it all and his success from Two and a Half Men made many men yearn for his lifestyle; when in reality Charlie's life was spiraling out of control. It goes to show that you have to be careful who you admire and look up to because celebs, for better or worse, have ALOT of demons. For you to confirm his homosexual promiscuity confirms the notion that his ambiguous sex life is what led him to contact aids. I was surprised you didn't mention when he sought out the doctor in Mexico and obtain "medicine" to treat his aids and it was undetectable in his system. Regardless, he looks like life has hit him hard and while he claims it's undetectable in his system, he still is suffering from his choices. The saying is true more and more, it really is Pride before the fall.

Yes LOL, thank you Alexander! I cut out some little back and forth texting between him and Farrah Abrahms, but the situation was so insignificant, and she doesn't really need any more attention. She thrives on that shit. That's why he stopped talking to her, their convos were leaked, because she wanted attention for the fact she was talking to him...
Other than that though, was no stones left unturned! I have gotten a lot better at the research and cross referencing side of things, which makes it easier to have it all flow together chronologically than in my earlier videos in this series. So stay tuned, because I am all about detail. The more data we have to consider, the better we can understand these folks on a human level, which hopefully in turn, can help people better understand themselves, their friends, family.
Generational curses and childhood trauma can plague anyone, even the most rich and famous, and I think that's important for the average person to realize too. We all hurt sometimes, and that's okay. It's how we manage it that can be the issue.

Those aren't random regular people making it big and it's not a coincidence that Carrie Underwood looks just like Jamie Lynn Spears and the name is more like something given to a horror movie funeral parlor owner (carrion undertaker) than a wholesome songbird. Remember what pan used to deceive the children and each of us starts as a child of God....young and old alike are fighting for their souls. All these child/teen stars, and children of stars really don't stand a chance in this world. They all deserve a little empathy, and more regard and consideration for what they went thru, than just judging them and making a spectacle of the fall out.
