    Such a great discussion, Gents. Thank you! And yes, it's a whole new world right now -- but long overdue! Though the nostalgic half of me will miss the CLI, the modernization half of me realizes the need to automate. Our IP devices and need for security have simply expanded exponentially. And believe it or not, the error prone human programming just isn't cutting it anymore. So yes, many of us will miss the "old school" way of doing things, but hopefully all of us will (a) understand the need to evolve and (b) fully embrace the grind and "separate ourselves" as stated at the end. (Finally, that ARP question for interviewing. Bahaha!)

    Cisco need to smell the "cloud first" coffee and make DNAC fully SaaS or integrate it with Meraki. deploying up to 9 physical appiances for a global LAN deployment is ridiclous and falls short behing fully SaaS based LANs from Juniper and HPe/Aruba

    FEEDBACK FOR CISCO: While DNA has the potential for being one stop solution by integrating ACI and SDWAN it becomes very pricey to afford for many companies. And alternative solution would be to integrate all the three in one package and make it available as cloud ☁️ ☁️☁️ based SAAS solution with different levels of subscription. This can make it very affordable with wide scale adoption. What do you all think 🤔?

      you defo spot on with this comment. HP with their Aruba Central and Juniper with their MIST product make this much easier with their cloud based management. I think Cisco will merge DNAC into the Meraki portal eventually because deploying the DNAC as physical applicances (up to 9 in a global multi-regional environment is ridiculous

    how DNA centre is different from Meraki ?

    • @cbtnuggets
      @cbtnuggets  3 роки тому +1

      Hi Cajay, according to Cisco’s DNA Center description, Meraki can be managed as an integration within DNA Center, since DNA Center’s scope is wider. Different products for different uses. Check out the DNA Center & Meraki courses on our site for details on both! www.cbtnuggets.com/

    It means no more networking engineering anymore. Everything will be plug and play. In my my opinion too much automation less workers on the job
