Hey skipper, have a question for you. How do you keep your gear clean? Or how do you clean it rather? I hear sand in some of my gears but im afraid of breaking it if it comes apart.. Also have when you going to try mt dew with the salty bait? 1 more thing can you make a rig with a cloth hanger put 3 hooks on it 2 on sides 1 middle and cast it out with your drone? Next video can't wait!

Ok sure, I’ll make some content about that soon. I clean my reels every single time I go fishing. I rinse them in a gentle stream of room temperature faucet water. Do not blast it with high pressure. It shoots sand and salt into the reel. If you do this every-time you fish in salt Water, your reel will last a long time
On the stingray you caught. Did you take the hook out or just cut the line and left the hook in. I know how dangerous stingrays can be. Just like to know. Thanks.

We were obviously fishing under the pier, I caught some small whiting, and your dad was throwing a cast net between the pilings, not sure if he caught anything that day. Thanks for the great content!

I’m also disabled with a permanent spinal cord injury. I think if I had a place to regularly sit I could pull it off as long as I didn’t catch anything too big! So here’s my question.., Would you allow me to post a link to my Go Fund Me campaign on a few of your new videos? Or better yet would you consider posting it yourself and maybe mention me? I know I’m asking a lot but if I get my transportation straightened out maybe you’d let me join you for an afternoon. My mobility van needs to be re-powered or I need a new one. Being on disability doesn’t allow you to save money so you can afford a new one when that day comes that you need it. So what do you think? Can I post it?
love the channel, love your videos I have Been watching for years. I'm an avid surf fisherman in Texas. I am Glad to see you here on the gulf coast. You do a lot for the sport and love your educating people on how to fish. Thank you for that. However, Skipper the way you handled that Hardhead catfish at the 8 minute mark in your video made my heart stop. For an experienced fisherman that's maybe OK. Those barbs are not only sharp but are coated with a poisonous slime. As a defense mechanism the catfish stick their barb straight out and those fins will go through a leather glove, wade boots and even flatten truck tires. I'm glad you didn't get finned in the palm of your hand. That would have ended your day of fishing. Everybody careful of saltwater catfish. Use a fish gripper tool instead to handle this fish.

Thanks. I used your salted baits on the Texas gulf February 2023 and they definitely catch fish. Got cats and a few whiting.

Great video, should try using conventional reels way better. More line it can hold, farther casting and better drag system. Keep up the great videos!
