Peter is very good when he is an enemy not when he is earnest especially towards Victor played by Eric. If I were him I would take it to the next level.
Had to watch this again. Yes, Gloria is the kind of tacky character who would invite colleagues who've never met her father... er... husband to his funeral for bragging rights, to fuel the office gossip machine and turn the whole thing into a soap opera sideshow. You can't make this sh#t up. 🙄 PS: Pity said colleagues didn't "forget" to attend. That would've been divine (and ironically respectful) justice. PPS: We really didn't need to know about him yanking his catheter out in his final days! PPPS: We definitely didn't need to know about the audible flatulence that accompanied his death rattle either! There is no question that I do not care about what Victor said to Jack in late 2008 about Jack not being close to John whoever asked for his opinion he is a Newman I DO NOT CARE. the show has not been the same since and now Jack has to get clean before trust gets regained.
Jack should of waited for Gloria before the funeral started. But he did. And Gloria should of have her phone on if they were starting early. Jack should look himself in the mirror and realize he done that to himself

Kevin was trying to be a better person at this point. If John married Gloria a couple decade's earlier Kevin might have been calling John dad. Think John would have been more of a father to Kevin then John. 2003 Kevin would have been different.
Peter Bergman is John Abbott's son, with the hair, the tan, and the attitude. No one else comes close.
