"Blue-Yellow-Red" interview with Robbie Lynn Hunsinger

Interview about Blue-Yellow-Red, an immersive, interactive light beam activated audiovisual project inspired by Kandinsky's writings on synesthesia. I created 3 x 12 foot long floor sensors to track presence and linked data input to video effects, audio track triggers and other effect as multiple video layers combine with multi-tracked and triggered musical tracks. All visuals, music, code and sensors are custom made by Robbie who performs on English horns, Vietnamese oboe, soprano saxophones and bass. Blue, Yellow and Red was first installed in a 20x 40 room at Nashville's Frist Museum and has three movements selected by a Wii Remote. Please contact me if you are interested in an installation.
