She stopped attending public schools at like 11. Not sure the standards of US schools but most places, they’d be aware if a child couldn’t read and write at 11 years old. You don’t develop dyslexia later in life. It’s not like she never attended school at all. She absolutely can not have undiagnosed dyslexia, she could be dyslexic, unless the US system is such a joke they don’t teach basic skills until middle school, undiagnosed though is a huge reach, this just wouldn’t be possible. I’m actually so confused how this has so many likes. It doesn’t make sense.

Reading is such an important part of school, that it would’ve been noticed by a teacher if she actually has dyslexia and went to school often/regularly. To get a diagnosis, usually professionals would like to know what the environment thinks as well (teachers, parents, etc.) and how it affects their (the child’s) academics as well.

Exactly. Not being able with read is nothing to be ashamed of. My great uncle never learnt to read, autism and dyslexia run in our family and he went to school in the 50s and 60s rural Wales and never get the help he needed. He left school without knowing any maths or written English and learnt how to do maths from watching people play darts at the pub. He did pretty well for himself though, had multiple businesses and retired with enough money to support himself and his wife and to help his (8!) kids out whenever they need it. His wife helped him learn to read well enough to use road signs and text the family but to this day he has never read a book and he can't manually write.

Relax. It's not her being illiterate that's funny. But the justifications, theories and "evidence" they've made up/ pieced together are.
It's a conspiracy theory. It's ludicrous that a well known actress would still have never learnt to read. Because learning your lines and reading your scripts is one of the vital ways to get better and better roles. So the thought that she could have made it this far and there is photo "evidence" that lines up with the theory like you never see her sign her name just underline it will be funny to some people. And there were _so_ many pictures of her just drawing a line...
Plus she's been notoriously bitchy, vindictive and racist to people. So people who would otherwise have had sympathy and love know to not bother defending her.

imagine thinking dyslexia is rare, a lot of people have disabilities regarding reading and literacy, our brains have not always been hardwired to read and write aka why people need more glasses now a days because we were adapted to seeing far away to avoid predators but now since we have the screens and books we adapted and formed to see now

Not being able to read or write isn't funny at all, some ppl struggle to understand how to do it and she didn't have time to learn to read or write, if you were in her shoes you wouldn't want to be laughed at so stop laughing at her. 🙄

Pavarotti never learned how to read music, does that make him or his talent less significant? People thought so for a little while, and then realised how ridiculous they were being. Lea Michele is talented at what she does, enough to be more successful than many, so what does it matter if she has trouble reading, some form of dyslexia, or maybe just paused for a moment before reading a card on stage? She probably can read just fine, but even if she can’t, it doesn’t affect her performance in the end. That one actress couldn’t even understand English for a while before someone noticed lol.

Honestly lol I’m amazed on how everyone is saying they are so wild but then when it comes to celebrities we can make fun of someone who can’t read? Maybe she can maybe she can but it’s not our business and we shouldn’t make fun of her for it. She might have dyslexia or maybe she just didn’t get taught but either way it’s none of our business
