Almost every 12 string acoustic is tuned down. It’s almost impossible to have a 12 string in standard without breaking a string. Most are tuned down half step and will capo the first fret to be in standard.
The low tuning helps the stress of a 12 string on the neck and the top and the bridge. The Moody Blues did a song in C standard tuning. "The Question" was the song so you are on to something.
I have the non-electric version that I've had as a throw around for years. For the price they're pretty decent... that said I've only pushed it to d standard and Open C add9.
isn't a 12-string normally each string set an octave apart? (Except high E & B) You're not getting the melodic tones And I didn't give you a thumbs down
Nice. Now all it needs is a metal zone
Great work bud, Ive seen drop tuned accoustics before but never seen a drop tuned 12 string so definetly unique. keep it up!

Definitely got to work that into a song. Ain't nobody else rockin a 12 string tuned that low. The octaves have an eeire sound to it..........

gonna try this thanks!
You’re correct but with the pairs in unison it could kinda simulate double tracking with one player 🤷🏼♂️
In México is called bajo sexto, is like a 12 strings guitar but with messuga tuning,
Used for Mexican folklore
Interesting video. Doesn't sound half bad. It's great to experiment as sometimes he pays off and get the creative juices flowing.
Ooh I like the part at 6:00 and after
Parametric should make that pop.
