SHOULDA WATCHED THIS EARLIER! The Green Mile Movie Reaction PT 1 - Michael Clarke Duncan, Tom Hanks

- The Green Mile movie reaction is here! And I honestly don't know why we waited so long to watch this film. This incredible movie staring Michael Clarke Duncan and Tom Hanks is such a heartfelt story. Directed by the incredibly talented Frank Darabont the shift in tones in this film are done so seamlessly it's truly difficult not to put this film into one of our favorites. This film is also based on a Stephen King novel under the same title. We absolutely love Stephen King and after our Shawshank Redemption reaction it was only right to move on to the next beloved movie adaptation.

Hey guys! Wanted to clarify since I did cut out the intro to this reaction. Denise had watched this film before but it’s been at least a decade. This is my (Ari) first time watching this gem. Hope you enjoy the reaction! Remember to hit the notification bell or subscribe so you don't miss out on Part 1! Copyright hit this one hard so we had to keep the edit a bit tight. Thank you guys for all the love and support. We'll see you guys in the next one!

Hola chicos suban pronto la parte 2 por favor saludos desde Argentina.
La segunda parte será subida durante el fin de semana! Gracias por el apoyo! Un saludo hasta Argentina ❤️
Graciassss
Ahhhh thought so from the way she was side eye-ing you and some of her reactions. Makes sense!
Is just fine
Percy is one of the most despicable characters in the history of film.
Couldn’t agree more! Definitely hated him in this. He was just too cruel.
I agree. No one writes the despicable traits of an antagonist like Stephen King. Percy's so easy to hate. Another Stephen King adaptation with an antagonist you will love to hate is Joe St George in Dolores Claiborne. It an amazing movie starring the great Kathy Bates. It truly is Stephen King's lost gem. Check it out if you haven't already.
Percy, Nurse Ratchet (One flew over the cuckoos nest), Annie Wilkes (Misery), and Amon Goeth (Schindlers list), are a few of my top movie villains I love to hate!
I’ve seen several “reaction” videos to this movie and no one has expressed sympathy for Percy. In fact, most say he got what he deserved. 😂
Another honorable mention of despicable villains is Mrs Carmody (or Mother Carmody) in his novella The Mist. She had me PISSED. OFFFF. Also in IT, Tom Marsh was utterly vile. King just knows how to make you despise someone 😂😂😂
We're definitely gonna check out Dolores Clairborne, we heard some amazing things about that one! Kathy Bates surely killed it in that as she did with Misery!
- Denise
Michael Clark Duncan took his copy of the script EVERYWHERE. He really ate up the role to play it properly.
I used to be a correctional officer before I became disabled. There were good guards, there were bad guards, and there were guards like Percy. For the most part, guards like him never stayed for long. The inmates and other officers made sure of that 😎
Ahh I love this movie! It's so good. RIP Michael Clarke Duncan.
It's truly a phenomenal film! Michael Clarke Duncan was breathtaking in this - what a loss. May he rest in peace.
As far as I'm concerned, this is not only Michael Clark Ducan's most notable role, it is also one of the best acting performances of the century. Truly a hidden gem.
John Coffey lost a best supporting actor nomination to Dr. Larch. No one remembers the character Dr Larch, or even the movie he was in. But once you see it, very few can forget the petrayol of John coffey! RIP Michael Clarke Duncan. You deserved the Oscar!!
Wait a minute. Did I just watch the start of a reaction video without any of the typical bullshit that 99% of UA-camrs do ? I can't believe you just jumped right into the video. You didn't ramble on about nothing for 3 minutes, you didn't say "its ya boy/girl", you didn't say "like, comment and subscribe", there was no loud intro music at all... you just jumped right into the movie. This whole "no intro" just got me to subscribe. Thank you.
It's still surprising to me that there are so many people who haven't watched this movie. It's been more than 20 years since it first premiered. This is a fantastic movie, one of the great adaptations of Stephen King's work.
It’s great catching up with these movies and understanding why they are considered some of the best. This is truly s phenomenal film!
This is King's favourite film adaptation of his work.
it really is crazy that some young people even JUst on a whim would sit dwn one day to see this FILM or Shawshank one day growing up -or even some older ones like ROMAN holiday or the great Hichcock films. One lady from canada just lived on DAM dsney or Hallmark !!
One of the best movies ever put to screen imo. Acting, story and the sets perfectly done. I felt that coffee was a fallen angel and his punishment was to heal and feel the sadness of the world.
10:20 I love that yall pointed out the "natural couple scene" I wish more movies would do that but of course the actors are key to making it feel natural so it's not always the movie's fault😅
Right though haha?! So many scenes between couples feel either too forced, or not close enough. Sometimes it's the actors, but it's also up to the director to guide them in the right direction in order to get the best performance.
Great reaction! Something easily overlooked about Paul seeming stubborn in not going to the doctor, penecilin was only discovered a few years before this. You couldn't go in and get antibiotics
Thanks so much for the support and for sharing this information with us - we were so engrossed in the story, the actual timeline of it completely slipped our minds!
He mentions that all the doctor would do is give him sulfur tablets.
Yes, I thought that. I believe the first time antibiotics were available in large quantities was for D-day, around 9 years after this film was set.
A friend of mine has just recovered from a UTI. He conformed it was like pissing razors and he spent 2 or 3 days in hospital over Xmas on an antibiotic drip and then had pills to take at home.
"He's paid what he owed. So he's square with the house again." Very respectful
Frank Darabond is a genius of these types of film. This and Shawshank are two of the greatest movies ever made. In my humble opinion
'The Mist' is also great
John Coffey never had a chance. 1930s, racist court system, racist defence lawyer, black man. He was convicted before anyone put any cuffs on him.
This movie will always be one of the most heart breaking stories ever.
Oh absolutely - race was definitely at the core of his trial and this likely also influenced the proceedings themselves. His end destroyed us - such a pure and kind soul deserved so much better.
@@OfficialMediaKnights It is one of those movies where you are emotionally exhausted afterwards. I had read the book, I knew what was coming and still, I was wrecked the first time I saw it.
And the fact he was found with dead girls in his arms... that may have had something to do with it too.
Nothing suggests the lawyer was racist or the court was 'racust'. Possible they were or weren't. But, I'd say the fact he was found with thr bodies, blood all over, and claiming 'he trued to take it back' are legit reasons to convict him. WE know the story. The court doesn't know they're in a Stephdn King story and something supernatural is around. Not everything is racism. Go watch/read To Kill A Mickingbird. THAT was racism. This story has ZERO to do with racism. Only a racist gets focused on racism when it's a non issue
I mean sure it played a part, but he was found with two dead girls in his arms and saying "I couldn't help it - I tried to take it back, but it was too late". Not knowing about his powers there's only one way most people will take that, and that's as a confession.
Percy is like a lot of people on the internet today. They have never been punched in the mouth and it shows.
Hahaha oh goodness. Yeah, it's definitely a common trait now that people run their mouths, spewing atrocities and expect everyone to be chill. Freedom of speech is not freedom of consequence!
Fun fact: The actor playing Percy is also in one my favourite x-files episodes (Two actually) and he's just as fkng creepy in that. The episodes are called "Squeeze" and "Tombs"
Whooaaa, haven't seen those episodes in a hot minute! The performance for Percy was absolutely incredible - our pure, unadulterated hatred for him is just further proof of his talent! Thanks for sharing, commenting and supporting us, we appreciate you!
He's fkng creepy in real life, too.
@@patron40silver Yup, in 2011 he groomed and married a 16-year-old when was 51. She wised up and divorced him in 2020 and she is still under 30 in 2024.What a piece of sh!t.
Yeah, playing a hate filled creep isn't a stretch for this guy
This movie is like the "character actor" hall of fame.
If you look at the actor credits, I was able to count at least four people that were both in this film, and 'Shawkshank'. 😉
Yesss!! Darabont loves working with the same cast! You can also see many of them in The Mist and even the Walking Dead!
One of my favorite movies of all time. Tom Hanks has been the main character on some epic films, what an incredible career he's had.
Great reaction guys
21:37 Bear in mind, not ONLY does Hal have to live with the fact that his beloved wife is going to die, he has NO way to really tell her. Her tumor is a brain tumor, often affecting memory and sense of reality. Even if he somehow worked up the courage to tell her in one of her more lucid moments, there is little to no chance she would remember in the long term.
Precisely, this!! It's devastating to see how the tumor changes her and messes with her memory. We cannot imagine how painful this must have been for her, but also for Hal, and how helpless he must have felt...
I have to be in a very particular mood to be able to watch this movie. The part where John Coffee talks about how to tell God the Father that it was a kindness Boss Edgecomb was doing….OMG. “Lonely as a sparrow in the rain…..”. Especially tonight I can relate to that and it breaks my heart…
I don't usually watch reactions where one person has seen the film because they usually act in a way that gives stuff away or say/do things before something happens and it's annoying, but Denise doesn't do any of that. She keeps the reaction perfect! So glad I found your account.
This film is so emotional and reduces me to a tearful mess every single time without fail.
Forrest and Lt. Dan reunites again! ))
I love when people do two part reactions for long movies like this. Thanks!
Thank you so much, we're so glad it worked out! There were too many amazing moments we just had to split it! Thank you for the support!
Any infection can turn into sepsis if severe enough/ left untreated for long enough. Also, I'm not sure when it ended, but for a long time, doctors would tell the husband/male relative what was wrong with a woman and it was simply up to him whether or not he wanted her to know. Lurleen Wallace was a governor of Alabama in 67 and her husband was told that she had suspicious tissue growth after a C-section and he elected not to tell her so she could help him with his campaign. She didn't get immediate treatment and her condition worsened, she eventually found out but it'd already progressed and she died at the age of 41. That's why the warden knew his wife's diagnoses and had to tell her himself. 🤷♀️
The actor who plays that crazy wild bill is an amazing actor. He also did a great job in a movie called Box Full of Moonlight" (1996) Completely different character a good guy. An awesome performance. The movie is definatley worth the watch.
He plays a character you hate in Green Mile, and a character you love in Galaxy Quest, and a character you love to hate in Iron Man 2.
In Box full of moonlight hes just awesome and amazing.
Sam Rockwell is also excellent in Moon.
He's also great in 7 Psychopaths and Mr. Right both black comedies.
Real people reacting to a great film. Hats off yall.
I was getting anxious as I was watching because there wasn’t enough time for all that was left thinking “they can’t cut this o that scene”. I was so relieved when I realised it was two parts
Is anyone going to mention that both Hunt sisters have played Tom Hanks’s wife?
Bonnie Hunt in this movie and Helen Hunt in Cast Away. Both came out within a year of each other.
Michael Duncan. May you rest in peace kind Sir
I'm excited for the next part! This movie has indeed so many beautiful moments so I'm glad you decided to divided in two parts.
Percy's actor did a great job making all of us hate him. And yeah I was shocked at first when I watched John using his powers.
Another thing is that I didn't remember the beginning of the movie, when our main character is telling the story, it's been such a long time since I watched this one.
Glad you are enjoying and the sad parts will come next and I'm kind of nervous hehe.
Thank you so much for your support, we're so glad you're enjoying our reaction thus far!
This film truly is a gem - it warmed our hearts with tender moments and then it shattered them.
Stay tuned for Part 2, it will be up very soon!
Great part 1 reaction, guys! Looking forward to part 2! Frank Darabont really seems to be one of the few directors who understands how to translate Stephen King to film this well. This and Shawshank (another of his movies) are so well made. Rob Reiner's Stand By Me is also up there as well.
Thank you so much for the wonderful comment, we're so glad you enjoyed it! Darabont definitely has an incredible sense for King's stories - the characters are always so rich and multi-faceted, the stories complex but breathtaking. He has done some of the best work when it comes to interpreting Stephen King - no doubt! Stand By Me is actually also on our list, actually, we heard fantastic things about it! Stay tuned for Part 2!
Frank Darabont also directed The Mist and Stephen King said Darabont ended it better than he did.
Screenplay was written by Frank Darabont who also wrote the screenplay for The Shawshank Redemption
Hey guys, some of the actors were also in Shashank Redemption.
"I don't need no radar, I can tell! I just listen to the wind; it said, "fifty-nine, nail him!" ~Walter Crow Horse played by Graham Greene
My brother used to be a corrections officer before going into Federal law enforcement, from the time he was a guard then later as a supervisor never wanted to know what a person had been convicted of. He said he wanted to only judge a person on what he saw & how he interacted with them. When you know a person's crimes implicit bias goes into overdrive and there is already a bias from a person being convicted that exists. When people would ask him but shouldn't you know in case their dangerous? He say "Any living being put in a cage is dangerous, but to then brand them, force them into a corner & make them defensive is a much greater danger. Plus we are trained to always be aware, to never let your guard down & always be prepared something might not be as it seems." He never once had an altercation.
I am not sure if that was part of his training or just our upbringing but it has served him well. I know that not every corrections officer has that same approach because of what I have witnessed working in hospital nursing. We often would get inmates that needed greater medical attention than a corrections facility could provide and some of the CO's were cruel & lacked decency. There was one inmate that came in for a DNC after being raped presumably by one of the guards since she had been behind bars when she got pregnant. She also had several physical injuries from another inmate the main reason for her admission.
She had wanted to have the baby but when her family refused to assume custody she chose to end the pregnancy rather than give her child away. Every single corrections officer went out of there way to tell the nursing staff her criminal history hoping that they would withhold pain medication. Or they would tell us no give her the lowest dose possible on the range of her med order ( simply meaning a doctor may order .5ml to 4ml every x amount of hours for pain depending on their stated pain level). However while that was meant to be physically cruel they also were emotionally abusive because they would put on shows like "A Baby Story" knowing that she had been pregnant. When we tried to report these incidents we basically were blown off because not wanting a person over medicated and an inmate not liking what was on tv aren't crimes or abuse of power.
The Green Mile is such an exceptional movie for demonstrating the nuance that good & bad people exist on both sides of the law. I loved this movie and the book. The Green Mile speech in the book on the last pages is among my all time favorite literary lines. It is done well in the film too.
Wow. This was difficult to read. Thank you, for taking the time to share your and your brother's experiences.
This brings Brutal's line to mind - that these men had been paying their dues. A basic sense of decency and humanity has to be present, though it may be difficult due to that implicit bias you mentioned.
Not digging into their crimes and getting to know the inmates as they are at the present would likely have built an easier rapport with the inmates.
There are sadly too many in the law that do things for the wrong reasons - control, power and the abuse of both. And our understanding of abuse has yet to grow as it's not just the physical but also psychological and emotional abuse that can destroy minds and bodies of the victims.
We tend to forget that, of course depending on the prison, that some of those people are incarcerated for more minor infractions. Then we also must consider the inequality within the justice system that leads to mishandled trials, tampered evidence etc. It's a very complex topic and certainly a difficult one to give a simple answer to.
This story has captured the good and the bad within humankind so incredibly well - nuanced and with grace. The book must also be incredible. As a huge Stephen King fan, I'm (Denise) going to be ordering the book asap!
Again thank you for your comment, we appreciate your candor and effort!
Thank you for the information.
22:10 - 22:18 Exact same thing I thought!
25:33 - 25:41 🤭When I 1st saw this movie all I knew was that there was this big, black man who was executed while actually be innocent...when I saw this scene I was like:"Wait...there is MAGIC in this movie???😱I had no idea!!!"
33:28 - 33:31 Percy in a nutshell.😅
A UA-cam reaction essential at this point
I immediately clicked off a comedy reaction from another channel when this came up on the feed.
This is definitely up your alley.
The book isn't too bad either.
This might be my favorite Stephen King adaptation. Besides IT and Shawshank redemption
In my opinion this is one of the most beautifully shot movies ever . I can't watch it anymore Because it makes me so sad 😅. I even tear up when I watch the reaction channels watchi the movie. The acting between everybody is phenomenal
"Dale &aped and murdered a young girl before starting a fire, which caused the deaths of six more people (including two children), which led to him being sent to death." (novel) Stephen King.
Didn't know that, thank you for sharing!
Great choice of movie. Great reaction.
I like you. Unfortunately, I'm not too interested in most of the series you're following, but when you do a great classic movie like this one, I'll be back.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words! If you have any movie recommendations, feel free to comment them, we try to get to every one!

Phenomenal movie, loved it, everytime I watch it, I cry, and anyone who says they don't or didn't cry at this movie is either lying or they have no heart. I know exactly hoe Paul Edgecombe feels, I'm disabled and have had urinary infections before, so I know exactly what he was going through, and pissing razorblades is exactly what it feels like.
Top 3 movie of all time.
Gary Sinise the lawyer he went to see was also Lieutenant Dan with Tom Hanks as Forest Gump in The movie (Forest Gump) another fantastic movie to watch if you haven't seen it yet!
Gary Sinise is a fantastic actor, wonder why we don't see more of him nowadays! Forrest Gump is actually on our list, we'll be reacting to it very soon!
"I feel like he should be walking the Green Mile."
Nah, that'll be doing Percy a kindness.
1935 was the year of the highest number of recorded executions. It's worth noting that was deep in the Depression, and all the guards were probably lucky to have decent jobs.(making the "bread line" threat more real)
They used elevated walkways and risers to help make Michael Clark Duncan appear to be bigger than he actually was .
Thank you for keeping more of the film in ❤
good call on the Thomas Newman music score.
it's shocking how many films he has done the music for.
2 parts. great decision. can't wait. wonderful reactions/commentary's!
Thank you so much for the comment and support! We debated quite a bit, but in the end there were just too many amazing moments! Stay tuned for Part 2, it's going to be up soon!
I've never done it, but I've always had a huge fear that I might start bust out knee slap laughing at a funeral. I used to do it in church, class, family gatherings. I guess I'm just able to keep my crap together at the most solemn of gatherings, thank God. When Paul makes the comment about it, I'm always reminded of that fear.
Oh my goodness, definitely can relate to that fear! Laughing in stressful situations is actually not that uncommon of a response, so it makes sense that he wanted to nip that in the bud! Nobody needs to hear someone laughing whilst strapped to a chair, awaiting their imminent ending...
Same writers producers directors and many actors also in Shawshank Redemption!
This movie I only watched once about 20 years ago and I will never watch this movie again. This movie is incredibly great, but it breaks my heart and makes me cry a lot...
I can definitely feel that. The ending is just too sad, too unfair...
That's the point. The best movies touch your deepest emotions. Stay in your feelings. Let them out.
great reaction guys cant wait for part 2! p/s: next movie recommendation, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind
Thanks so much for your support and kind words, it means the world to us! Also wooow that's a fantastic recommendation, thank you for that!
Guaranteed to make me cry everytime
Another great movie with Doug Hutchinson is The Salton Sea. It's very underseen imho. Plus, one of my favorite Val Kilmer roles.
It was indeed Thomas Newman! He's my favourite composer, his creations always hit such a soft spot in me.
The reason Paul didn't bother going to the doctor was because there wasn't much they could do. There were no antibiotics back then .
I remember watching this movie along side my dad as a you g teen!! Great movie, with amazing performances, and it also brings back memories! This movie is so good!!!
Aw we can only imagine!! I remember watching this when I was super young and though I didn't remember too much, I remember the feelings it showed me as a kid. This film is absolutely beautiful!
Percy is one of those people who needed routine percussive maintenance. With a hammer. That’s on fire
Stephen King had only Percy's shoes to squeak every time he took a step.
Love your reaction to my favorite movie.
Since you recognized Graham Green: I highly recommend the movie "Dances With Wolves". It is a great movie.
Added to our list! Thank you for the suggestion and for watching with us. This is an excellent choice for someone's favorite film. This one will stick with us forever ❤️
Ready for part 2.
Im a new sub and going through your older stuff and I absolutely love when Denise has seen something and Ari hasn’t. The glances directly into the camera are wonderful.
That's movie will be studied in college if im not wrong ✊🏼 R.i.p to the child of real life story and R.i.p to the beautiful actor play the role very well Michael Clarke Duncan
they had the hoods on the prisoners for a reason. it wasnt abnormal for heads to catch on fire. brutal stuff.
It is Thomas Newman, and he did the same score as Shawshank Redemption. Two of my favorite film scores.
Awesome ! can't wait for the rest.
Yayy thank you for coming back! Always great to see your comments! The rest will be up very soon!
This movie covers every human emotion .
It's IMO one of the top 10 best movies ever made. What do you think?
Gotta say it’s pretty up there for us too. You have the cruelty aspect of humanity but also compassion, love, and respect. It’s truly an incredibly told story. And the end wraps it up so neatly. This is one of those films that stays with you forever. And in our opinion there is no bigger sign that your art succeeded than when it leaves a mark.
The UTI cure:
even though it took a moment - this is the first time I saw a reactor go from "WTF! what kind of movie is this?!" to catch on: "oh yeah, stephen king"...
Hahaha the entire film seemed so grounded, it definitely felt like a plot twist of its own that there was a supernatural element in this after all!
Im glad lady (sorry don't know your name yet) that you're a Stephen King fan 📚 bawled my eyes out again ☕️🤣👏
Such a great film and faithful adaption of a great book.
Nominated for 4 Oscars including Best Picture but lost to American Beauty.
This was such an incredible film. Honestly we're not even surprised that it got nominated. Absolutely deserved it!
American Beauty has sure suffered with time
This is such a great movie. But that Percy man. He deserved what he got and then some. I give it to the actor who played him though that he played him real well. But i could not stop laughing everytime i heard his name. That's what i would call my dog LOL. Even the mouse had more backbone then him and outlived him to.
Ok I am awaiting part 2. You guys are among the top 5 reaction makers of movies I like. Here again you have made it.😀
Aww that means the world to us! Can’t wait to share part 2 with you. It’s coming out soon! ❤️
I think it was a conscious decision of the director NOT to get into the back stories of the inmates so that the audience would feel more sympathy for their plight. I don't think there is a movie with Tom Hanks that doesn't have a scene where he isn't taking a leak.
It was definitely a smart choice, it allowed us to simply get to know the inmates without their past brought into it. As Brutal says, these men are paying their dues, so that's the approach we take as the audience. It allowed the film's sentimentality to truly blossom!
Dean also in Once we were Soldiers and Saving Private Ryan! Not in Blackhawk Down, tho some people think so. The Trustee is Harry Dean Stanton. He's been in every Hollywood movie since the silent era!😁 He was in Dillinger, outsiders, Godfather 2, Red Dawn, alien and many others.
Please remember in the 1930's,antibiotics were just a dream
Mr jingles! 🐭
It's pointed out in the book that Bitterbuck was killed on the first discharge. The doctor heard continued flutterings of Bitterbuck's heart after he was dead, and that's why they jolted him again. If you'll notice, Bitterbuck wasn't groaning or anything else the second time.
Thomas Newman's music is just amazing, as it always is . Perfect accompaniment to this classic.
Yes!!! His work is so beautifully versatile but also always carries his signature. Absolutely love his work!
Such a beautifully directed film. Have watched and enjoyed it many times and been brought to tears every time. I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction, so genuine, real and intelligent. Am subscribing. Looking forward to more from you. Hello from Australia 😁👍
We are so glad we watched it. It’s a beautiful film with so much heart. One of those rare ones that stick with you forever. Thank you so much for watching this with us and saying hi right back all the way to Australia! ❤️
now percy just doing a good acting here or you wouldnt hate him so bad 😂 😂
Hahaha nah the actor did a fantastic job, it's tough to make people despise you this much! Respect!
Funny thing was that Brutal's actor is taller than Michael Clark Duncan. They had Mike stand on a plank or box while Tom stood in a hole in the scenes with all three😂
Hahaha no way?! That is hilarious! Movie magic at its best!
Hey, Michael was still an inch taller than Morse. But, yeah, his height was exaggerated in the movie.
people tend to forget that the green mile is a stephen king novel. so when they sees the beatle that gets out of joghn mouth. they are really confused... lol
24:07 he sounded so much like he was forrest gump again for a second lol.
I absolutely love del like yes i read about what he did but hes so damn loveable and adorable lol
Fun fact, they made a platform for Michael Clarke Duncan to walk on and they made his bed and Sparky smaller to make him seem taller as Michael Clarke Duncan was 6ft 7in and John Coffey was 7ft tall
26:12 _"What an arc."_
it depends on how hard he pushed.
This movie is brutal..... one of the best ever
Absolutely destroyed us. I can’t remember that many movies that had me feeling so devastating!
@@OfficialMediaKnights Cool fact. Michael Clark Drunken May he RIP. Was a bodyguard for Bruce Willis and got a part in Armageddon and the whole nine yards.
Can't wait for part 2!
We’ll be posting that soon! 😃❤️
Loved part one can’t wait for part two! You guys are so good at reacting 👌🏽 Now who do you hate more Percy or the warden in Shawshank? 🤔
Thank you so much for this wonderful comment, it means the world to hear you enjoy our reactions!
Also damn!! That's a tough question!! Though the warden was sleezy, manipulative and evil as well, I think we still hate Percy more haha. Percy's cruelty is just unmatched... But not sure! How about you?!
@@OfficialMediaKnights I would have to say Percy as well because even though the warden was evil as hell at least he had a motive which was the money and not wanting to get caught. Percy on the other hand was doing it all simply because he enjoyed it. Truly sadistic.
Yes!!! Precisely, that's it!! Percy's cruelty felt so unnecessary and vile...
Percy
John Coffey is a name with the initials J.C., not a accident according to an associate producer's interview I saw.
Very interesting! Yes, that seems to be the theory out there amongst fans as well, and it definitely tracks!
Great first half.
This is one of my favorite movies.
Percy is probably one of the most vile and hated characters ever created.
Waiting for part 2.
Thank you so much! We absolutely hated Percy! Doug Hutchison did an amazing job. Part 2 is coming super soon! 😃
Damn, Jack Nicholson was already there. How could I not notice him? Has he always been there?
Sure, we can see his full crazy face in your new studio, but also, for your first reaction in there, TLOU Episode 8 (if I'm not mistaken), it was so fitting. I agree with you. This episode was very very good, because the terror, the predatory pastor, the unhealthy climate, everything seemed so classic, already seen, and yet not boring for a single second.
Wait, I'm not supposed to talk about TLOU here, that's not the point! Raaaa, I love the plants in your new studio, it seemed a bit empty and I preferred the old one but it's so much better this way. You had warned us it wasn't finished.
WAIT, also, I would never have thought of rewatching The Green Lantern and The Shawshank Redemption without you and the suggestions of the other patrons. I had enjoyed them but thought they would be outdated by now. But some classics never go out of style. This community has good taste 😀!
Hahaha Jack Nicholson has been with us from the beginning!!! We would never abandon him haha! Also yes omg that episode really was a fantastic one, easily one of our favorites!
We're so glad you like our final version of the studio haha, it definitely was a work in progress. We still have a couple details to fill in but this is just about finished!
The Green Mile is an AMAZING movie, so glad you gave it a shot! Some of the older movies can feel outdated for sure, but some are truly timeless! We are lucky to have awesome people like you supporting us and giving us cool recommendations!
Also thank you soooo much for commenting again, your support means the world to us!!
Yes you need to watch Forest Gump and Saving Private Ryan both starring Tom Hanks
Yesss!! Thank you for the recommendations, we definitely added them to our list!!!
they used a scaled down sized electric chair to make Michael Clark Duncan appear bigger
they had several mice that were trained for specific tricks
I know he's only in a few minutes but, I love Harry Dean Stanton.

Thank you so much, this is so great to read! We appreciate your support so much!
