Your boat is lovely. Thanks for the tour. Just a personal comment (others may disagree) that you don't need background music when you're speaking. Your voices are nice enough!

A lovely tour and you are both great (found you via Keep On Chugging). But please drop the music competing with your voices - really struggled to hear you and failed quite a bit; had to give up at about 6.35. Thanks.
Thanks for the tour guys, I love your smaller boat. Might not have everything that the much bigger boats have got but I don't think you have missed out on very much at all. You have a sleeping area, relaxation spaces, bathroom, a nice galley, what more do you really need? I missed out on seeing what engine you have to push you along. Maybe you can include that on a future vlog? Oh, and to help UA-cam push your videos, a little tip. The system does a 'listen' to the first 8 seconds of your clip and then tries to match that through speech recognition to the first few sentences in the introduction above. So, to get the most out of the Algorithm, make sure that in your first 8 seconds you are talking about what we are about to see and use the same words as you have used above. Apparently, it helps. Anyway. I think you did well so far. Just mute the music or drop it right down as you are talking, it was quite intrusive and I was having trouble getting the gist of what Camille was saying. Stay Safe and Well. I have Subbed and am looking forward to more videos about your journeys. Cheers from Australia.
Thanks alot! I will try and work in that intro. You’re right about the music and talking I do need to make it lower. Appreciate the honest feedback. Really helps. The engine i have pegged for a future vlog. I do need to tidy up in there though!
I know what you mean about coming back to England with fresh eyes. I have lived in various places in Africa, the Middle East, and Europe during a long life but there are lots of places here I am only just now getting to see. I remember sitting in my company's office in Riyadh overhearing a Pakistani colleague talking to a Lebanese colleague - he said, "The English go all over the world to live but I don't why when they live in such a beautiful country". Don't get me wrong, I loved travelling in the deserts of Saudi Arabia and Egypt and scuba diving in the Red Sea, etc but you do appreciate the green rolling hills and villages we have here. I've been travelling on narrowboat Bandoneon (and yes, it is bigger than Badger but I know people who live full time in a campervan and have less space than you do) for three years now and there are still lots of places to visit :-)
@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 Africa was a long time ago. My father was in the army and did a spell with the King's African Rifles in the last days before independence. Hi John, we have only been back in the uk eleven weeks now and went straight to the boat from the airport. Shes 28 feet long and has a 2 cylinder lister acw2 engine, diesel. Hope you’ve enjoyed the videos so far. We are taking her out the water in a few weeks to b,ack the hull. A first for me and everyone helping. Should be fun! Take care mate!
What a nice attitude you both have. We have a lovely country. I just wish the canal system reached down into Kent. But I'm very interested in getting a boat. Do you find the boat warm enough? How do you heat it? Sorry if I missed it. Did you have much work to do for moving into the boat? Your kitchen and everything looks really well designed. Such a handsome boat. Looking forward to seeing your other videos. Thanks so much for sharing your new life with everyone. X
Ahh the heating. Yup my bad i should have at least mentioned it even though its a bit hidden away. Badger has a eberspacher diesel heater and the hot air comes out in two hidden places. Works well but we want a solid fuel stove. If we are lucky we may install one before next winter. Big if though. The boat was pretty much as you see it and ready to move into which was a big plus for us coming from overseas. Really appreciate you taking the time to comment. I am loving doing this. So many nice folks out there!

Thats a great way to look at things, i like that. Thanks for watching. I love it when people take a moment to comment it makes the whole process of filming and creating more fun knowing its being shared.
What a lovely couple! Not enough black folk on the canals ha ha. Trying to get my missus to have a look !
What are your long term plans ?
Thanks Lucan. I think we would like to upsize maybe in a year to a bigger boat. Really enjoying the lifestyle, it's quite liberating the level of personal freedom you have. Camille loves it. Its a friendly environment which is another bonus!
You have a beautiful home enjoy>>
Thanks Al, she's very cosy. She's been an awesome first boat but I think we are looking at getting a bigger boat maybe towards end of 2022.
Hi guys, that’s amazing how you have made that space work for you both. It’s beautiful jac xx
Thanks Jackie. We are surprised at how well we are adapting to such a small liveaboard but we don’t know any different right now. I really like Badger. Its hard to get me out of bed in the morning as i just enjoy the vibe in the bedroom.
I think your boat is beautiful. Can't wait to see more videos from you.
Have 2 in the pipeline. Should be Friday next one. I am trying to get more organised. :)
@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 brilliant. Look forward to it..
Yes guys! Have to agree with Camille that your layout is really well done. 28 foot and it has everything you need! Looking forward to more 😁👍👍🏾 Living the champagne life we see 😂🍾🥂
Haha beer for me champers for Camille. Coming home gifts, which was nice. We are headed for stratford so if we see you on our way down we must have a drink!
@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 Definitely! Do you guys have Instagram?
@@chuggingalong yup i should do more with it. cam_dive_overlord
Lovely. You had me at "2 burner stove" when I saw the coffee pot.
Life without coffee isn’t worth contemplating haha. Cheers for messaging. I appreciate it.
Great little boat well laid out, small can be beautiful 😊
It is a great layout and surprisingly easy to live on despite the size. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment .
Hi guys, just come across your UA-cam channel very interesting will be watching more how long have you been living on your boat your home ,it’s very compact but it’s lovely, how long is your boat and what is it powered by ,till next time take care keep safe,John 👀🍺🌹🥂🤣🦢
Awesome thought I'd missed it. Sounds intriguingly clever. Can't wait to see what else you both get up to. Great vlog. :-)
@@matheweaston thanks :). We uploaded the next one yesterday, bit of a small addition to the boat.
Wow! what a gorgeous home you have ❤️❤️
Compact and bijou :) your boat is really lovely. Character, history, space. Love it
Great bit of footage looking at the Badger. Stay safe guys looking forward to your next post.
Thanks! Glad you liked it. Working on the next one. Was really happy to do this one together

What a lovely couple, really enjoyed watching, thank you so much for sharing. Life is for living and I am sure you both make the best of everything, enjoy!
Thanks Jilly. Yup life needs to be lived and all the recent upheaval has pointed that out to a lot of us recently. Thanks for taking the time to message us. :)
You two are really cute, guys! Love the boat, love the vid! Looking forward to lots more!
Lovely to see it's all working for you both - Good luck, and I feel the love :-)
Fantastic boat. Really enjoyed watching the video. Hope you have a great Wednesday. Many thanks from Chris 👍🎈
Thanks Chris and Jane. We passed a ‘Poppy’ in Leamington Spa last week. Wasn’t you was it? Lets hope the weather improves so we can both get out there today :)
@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 hi we were out on the caldon canal last week. We had a very wet week. Hope this rain stops very soon. Many thanks from Chris and Jane 👍
Great to meet you two these last couple of days and a pleasure to come up the 21 Hatton locks in style. We nailed it ! (With the A-team lock volunteers who were masterful and made it a breeze). Here’s to your and our happy travels. Hope our paths will cross again one day
The volunteers made it the easiest 21 locks ever . Enjoyed it. Our two boats performed a ballet at each lock, poetry in motion :). Was good to meet you guys as well. Great chatting our way up and thanks also for the advice on the stove! Pretty sure we will bump into you again, hope so :)
What a lovely home you have. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you Nicola! We are enjoying it immensely . A lot of people said we would find her too small but we have adapted ok so far. It has been a challenge though
Thank you for boat tour. Your boat looks very comfy and gives you the opportunity to have a canal side adventure. 😊
Thanks Lisa. We are loving it. It’s been a big transition but we are loving it.Getting a new addition to the boat tomorrow. Something a little vintage . Hoping to post that one by saturday.
I absolutely love this, enjoy guys!
Cheers Alistair :)
Hey. Just watched your tour again and this time noticed the words under the clock. Are they Dave Gilmore’s words or did he nick them from another writer? I love your beautiful home? Best wishes to you both.
Thanks Francis you are very kind :). The quote is from Lord of the Rings.its from the poem ‘all that glitters is not gold’
It looks very comfortable 😀
Very comfy. I struggle to get out of bed as its super nice and usually i am a very early riser. Not any more!

Thanks Karen :) glad you enjoyed it. Was really nice to do a video together. Appreciate the feedback also. Makes my coffee taste better in the morning as i am smiling now :)
Love it so inspiring ❤ I've spent 2 weeks when I was young going from Leicester to Birmingham and back, was awesome. Can't wait to do a narroboat holiday x

Brilliant videos!
Thanks Carolime. Very kind of you :)
looks great guys - enjoy!

New viewer. I’ve been to a few islands in the Caribbean. Where is your lovely partner from? I’m asking because I’m nosy and I love the Caribbean, lol. Yes your boat is small but that’s okay as long as it suits you. BTW, I’m from Mississippi USA.
Hi! She’s Jamaican. We are actually visiting jamaiva right now ( spoiler alert! ). I’ve fallen way behind on the vlogs and will be getting them back up and running again this week. I’ve visited Mississippi. I am from the states originally but was raised in the UK. Funny old world isn’t it :)
Yesterday I had my Bob Marley T-shirt on!
Enjoy your trip, wish I was somewhere warm!!!!
Great video I'm hoping to do the same I live in Bermuda but going home maybe next year that is the perfect size boat for me as I will be on my own keep up with videos and stay safe thanks
Thanks Alan. We have only been back 8 weeks ourselves, from the Philippines. Was a good move. Thanks for watching and when the time comes and you’re looking to make the move let us know if you have any questions. We are new and learning all the time so happy to help!
I have just subscribed! You two are an inspiration x
Thanks Jules! Pressure is on now for a new video haha. Need to hunker down and cobble it together. Appreciate the feedback, means a lot!
I'm not mad...just family. Kinda hard to do yoga on that boat. LOL. Its fun watching your journey.
Beg to differ..you’re mad cuz!

Hi just found your channel! Lovely to meet you :) Like you were, I am living abroad at the moment and can't wait to get back to England for my next adventure! I have watched hundreds of vlogs which has been a great learning experience, though sometimes it puts me off as there is so much to do and I am a single female and wonder if I will be able to cope. I think I would like a small narrow boat but some people tell me to buy a bigger one. Seeing how much you love yours and knowing what an adventure it will be I couldn't be more excited! Enjoy the ride! xx
Hi Jay. In an ideal world we would have got a longer one maybe 40ft at least but it is surprising how we have adapted and there are two of us. We are really new to this but when the time comes if you have any questions fire away, more than happy to answer them. Theres lots to consider, toilets, heating etc. we are going to try and cover as much as we can from our own experiences. Really appreciate the feedback. Oh and i still can’t believe i am happy to be back in the UK, never thought I’d say that :)

@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 Thank you so much for getting back to me. So looking forward to watching your vlogs. England may not have the best weather in the world but it sure it Beautiful! x
@@jayb3931 really is. We have giggled like teenagers at some of the mooring spots. Idyllic
WHAT IS THE SONG PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND? IT GROWS ON YOU... :-)

Great looking boat, thanks for the tour, was looking forward to this 👍🏻 I do like the smaller boats, they just seem more cosy and I love the look of them. The inside looks great, everything you could need, I did notice no multi fuel stove, I was wondering what heating you have or planning on getting if any?
Ahh yeah i forgot to mention we have a eberspacher diesel heater but its not really visable
Aww, absolutely gorgeous, what length is she, please?
Davie x
28 feet long or 28feet short and fat :) Thanks for watching Davie. She does have character this little boat
That was no cuppa. That was a glassa! Enjoy! :)
a very warm friendly video. I am glad you guys are so happy. Plus you've got the summer and autumn ahead of you. Have you booked / had your jabs?
👍👌🇨🇦❤
Hey, really interesting to watch. I’ve never seen inside a barge before. Seems like a really good adventure you are on. I’ll continue watching to see how you get on. Shame I should have asked to be in your video lol
Haha if we see you in the next 2 days i will video you and stick you in the next one :)

Yup i did. Gonna look at the out takes in a bit too
A great tour! I would love to share some clips on our next vloggl episode, please let me know if that is ok?
Absolutely, thanks for including us !
Your music is very catchy and cheerful. However it makes it very difficult to hear your voices and concentrate on what you are saying. Could you maybe turn it down or off when you speak to the camera? Thanks.
Also meant to say that I really like your short and narrow boat. Very cleverly laid out, and still much better than my RV (more of a campervan, actually).
Watching it back i agree the music should be much lower. Thanks for the feedback I appreciate it. It helps me improve the vids for next time around :)
Hi, found you through another vlogger will reserve my subscribing for now ! I read through a lot of the comments and agree with them :-) but I find the ‘music’ annoying when you are talking :-( please please please cut the ‘music’ 🤞
Yup agreed, i cut out the music in the next one so it didn’t get in the way of the talking. I appreciate all the comments and feedback as it helps me with future videos.
I was looking forward to seeing the engine room :-(
We will be doing that soon as we have some work to do in there and it will be possibly a post to itself. There's an old lister 2 cylinder in there.
@@jamcamcam-webecruising2329 Listers last forever....
@@adejb123 haha i hope so. Will dedicate an episode soon to the engine room. Need to clean it up a bit though :)
Where is the heating ? :)
Theres a diesel eberspacher heater, its kinda hidden away and hard to show. Works beautifully
Thank you
Less music please.
Get rid of the back ground music otherwise very good
Yep, that got mentioned a bunch so I never did it again haha. Always appreciate the feedback, best way to learn :)
