It made me childishly happy that NYO&W was the paint scheme for this video! Definitely looking forward to getting my hands on one of these to replace my dead lined Spectrum version.
As i'm an old timer in the hobby, my biggest concern is the pulling power of this or any new loco, steam or diesel. Sound is phenomenal we 're able to do all kinds of tricks with lights and sound, but if it can't pull it's own weight, thanks Bill for mentioning the 18 freight cars. I notice Bachman is producing a 44 tonner is this just ironic , or what, because there's no comparison Rapido is topps in my book. Pulling power, pulling power, in New Haven scheme.
Love it!! Great work. Sad to not see a Middletown and New Jersey or the Hoboken Shore Railroad, but I suppose that is what the undecorated models are for! Consider me floored by how far model railroading has come.
Could a 70 tonner be far behind? HO Scale needs one with end handrails that have drop steps and MU connections. The Bachmann unit lacks both and is incorrect for some prototypes.
Rapido makes the best model trains. I’m not interested, but I think I will get one anyway because Rapido makes fantastic quality Locomotives and train cars. If I’m not mistaken, I think I saw one in Milwaukee Road which is one of my favorite roads not to mention CNW of course. 😅😇😉
Hi Bill, Layout looks great, especially the Sidney station. Is there a listing or pictures of auxiliary details that might come with the undecorated models (awnings, headlights w & w/o visors, etc)? Also are there pictures of the undec bodies with no additional parts installed at all? Definitely interested on several!
you can run a DCC loco on DC. (but be aware, some "DC" power packs produce AC wave forms which are not kind to decoders, I'm looking at you MRC Tech II )
Oh nice! I got my hands on a Old Bachmann still new in box from a hobby shop in the US a few years back of a 44 Tonner, would love to get this one! Crossing fingers I get to see some Canadian Road Names.
So B&M...not popular enough?...on an lol..Quincy shipyard in MA had only 2..possibly 1...Customs I guess...btw the way you great model train making Canucks...more MBTA(they sell out too quick)...and lunge into subway cars too...if it is on rails...make it guys...

Love the operating hood hatches! These can fit in anywhere (literally)!
Bill went all-out!
Wow! You HAVE been busy!! Layout is looking fantastic! And that 44-tonner is looking pretty amazing too!
Thanks a bunch!
Bill's layout is very impressive. Is there any videos to watch.
We've got a number of videos from his layout. The PA and E8 videos being the most notable.
I grew up in Sidney at the end of 13 Cherry Street by the south yard of the O&W. Do you have any videos of the entire layout? Very impressive!

They are doing the Hoboken one as a dealer exclusive.
What a time to be alive!
That layout looks really great!!
Thank you!
Anxiously waiting for the arrival! Had to watch the video again to tide me over
We encourage repeated viewings!
I’ll be picking up one the Arcade & Attica models! The A&A is a cool little railroad!
We think so too!
Wow ! Sooo cool ! Congratulations !
Thank you!!
Great little critter, lots of nice details, like the built in keep alive. Still waiting for the GE 70 tonner.
Rapido products are great!
Thank you kindly!

A definite possibility!
Or you could kitbash it. We did that back in the dark days. Still do.
Hey cool! Sidney NY is the town over from me!! This model will make a fine edition to my collection!
Awesome!
Excited for these.
Us too!
Great, Can't Wait !!!!!
Neither can we to be honest!
Awesome video
Thanks!
I have a Rio Grande, A & A, and SN ordered. I'm looking forward to their arrival! Thanks Rapido!
Thanks! These should be arriving later this summer.
The. best. thing. about the old HO Bachman 44 tonners were that the power trucks were amazing an could be used to power *_anything_*
Well hopefully our trucks stay on the model!
Wow, beautiful layout!
This is a good video. Thank you.
Glad you liked it!

Thank you very much!
Nice looking layout
So will the surviving units with MU like our 105 have the MU connection so we can model the 3 44’s on one coal drag
Great job on the layout!!!!
Bill's layout is coming along quite nicely!
Sidney looks great Bill!
We're very proud of Bill's progress!
You need to convince Spring Creek to do an exclusive of OL&B. That would be cool. Great layout, BTW.
Hopefully they're listening!
Can’t wait for mine to com in. The US Navy needs some power to move things around.
Indeed they do!
That's one sweet layout!
Maybe one day!
Nice looking locomotive!
very cool!
Thanks!

Fantastic layout. What era are you modelling?
Bill is modelling the NYO&W in the late 1940s.
Gorgeous layout! Still very disappointed you won't do them for Western Maryland.
Well, not yet anyhow! This is just the first release
I've made it my goal to be that guy who comments on every video until my dreams of draper taper sample videos are fulfilled.
Not much longer now!
Will there be a new MBTA run later this year?
Definitely possible!
Ejoyable video,dreaming layout
big like from italy 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
hello rapidotrains it's is randy and i like yours video is cool thanks and i am enjoy video rapidotrains thanks friends randy
Hey, thanks!
I kinda wish I needed one.
We can find more ways to convince you if you like!
Are you going to make an Amtrak p32 ac dm i love them so much?
Maybe... Maybe not...
@@rapidotrains I love your channel! That’s my favorite locomotive
Very nice! Needs more N scale though!
Since your doing small switchers, I always thought a sound equipped tank engine would be a good idea because no one makes any
What?! No Lehigh Valley?? BTW, nice looking layout.
Next run!
@@rapidotrains That will be great-can't wait!
Will they be avalable in DC? i just dont want to install DCC on my layout

They will!

Oh nice!

So far just CN!
aren't 44 9onners shunters o wouldn't think depicting them outside dock yard or a place classification is done
Seeing them on the mainline is much more fun!
Need a Salt Lake Garfield and Western paint scheme.
You guys should make the npcu F40ph in n scale
We should!
Nice
