timesplitters still my favourite videogame franchise of all time, where else can you play a flamethrower wielding zombiemonkey grilling a guy in a cardboard-cut-out robot costume while he throws bricks at a resurrected cow carcass in a mexican mission
There’s a game I forget what it’s called but my grandpa told me he played it in the 1930s he lived in Chicago and he said there was a big vin diesel looking guy who gave him a copy of it and it’s been in my family for generations
The first was my first PS2 game. My parents had bought me it and our PS2 as a reward for making the honor roll in 4th grade. Timesplitters was my childhood.
One thing I like about Future Perfect is that all the multiplayer levels and game modes are unlocked straight away. I can live with not being able to unlock all of the characters but having a whole map locked behind a challenge that's proving too difficult for me is kinda frustrating.
This video has been in my "Watch Later" for longer than I should admit, but I finally got around to it. Like you I never played TS1 growing up, but jumped in at 2 and Future Perfect. Loved the games. Played a lot of multiplayer. Something about the shooting just felt good. Really need a replay of the series myself, though may just blitz the first, what with it not having a real story and all. And since it was mentioned Second Sight... that game kicked ass. Probably my favorite of them all. Cool story. Cool abilities. Cool twist.
TimeSplitters 2 was the first one I played. I spent so many hours playing it with my cousins, it was so fun being able to customise the settings with the awesome gameplay. As an adult, I was finally able to get TimeSplitters 3 and love the game!
Great video! I'm such a big fan of this franchise. I'm very hyped that THQ Nordic is in talks to revive TimeSplitters. It's about time! We need a new TimeSplitters in this day and age, especially when a classic game like DOOM could get such a successfully revival.
Don't worry, while I tend to be quiet, I'm never really gone despite long stretches between videos. And I am hoping to actually stay consistent with new videos coming up so it's not always a welcome back occasion with these.
TimesSplitters was a amazing, I had everything from great actuon down to music. I also heard that their is a TimesSplitters 4 being made but that's word of mouth.
Honestly, if they did do a Timesplitters 4, I wouldn't be surprised if it had to do with alternate timelines and quantum-based mumdo jumbo related to the multiverse theory. Could at least be a good excuse to make jabs at how predictions of the future from events in the Timesplitters universe didn't line up with the ones from ours.
Could you do a retrospect of the Twisted Metal series? That Timesplitters and Burnout are like my holy trilogy of game series I wish they'd bring back.
I like the comparison to golden eye, i could also say call of duty world at war took alot of inspiration from the virus and zombies mode, i think halo took some inspiration too from this game series
now i need to get future perfect. always looked interesting but never happened upon it. and for some reason i always believed it to be not as good as 2, which i can see is not true. thanks for the video man
I'm sitting in my office in the middle of 2023 and wondering if I'll ever get another TimeSplitters game... and now I'm on this video. Thank god (3 dudes) for Battlebits because the FPS genre is getting extremely stale P.S. I forgot how great this soundtrack was
@@Blondeguygamer Welcome back, Blodeguygamer. 1. Are you and your family doing okay in regards to the Corona Virus? 2. Will the Tales Of retrospective be back soon? Looking forward to Dawn of the New World.

The best FPS series experience, was more addictive than most game's, best moment Killing Duck Men with a shotgun lol

There's theorys going around that the splitters altered the timeline.
Me and timesplitters is like SpongeBob with the pitcher of water.

Idk about anyone else but I love the puns.
