Thanks for watching Steven! I’m not getting married, and my girlfriend knows it. We still have a FANTASTIC plan to travel….even though the Filipino passport is the worst in SE Asia. Just be up front and honest with any Filipina you meet. Marriage may be a deal breaker, so it may be a bunch of girls that you talk to before one will be ok. I promised mine we’re going to travel. We are in the process of getting her eligible to leave the country for her first time
Being single and Catholic has it's advantages when getting married in the PI. You certainly have to know your making a lifetime commitment. We married in Dumaguete and made the decision to have our children in the US so my wife had her green card in hand when we jumped through all those hoops. For those claiming bringing a Filipino to the states is the wrong move I say our time in the states was challenging and we are still together so thorough screening and taking your time is never the wrong move. We enjoy the benefits that being employed in the US provides along with hardly anything ever being out of stock!

I subscribed yesterday, and since then couple hundred people more subscribed. Very interesting. Helpful, and knowledgeable. Now I want to take a trip and visit the Philippines. I’m from Canada, and I’m not a big fan of the cold, this is a great way to escape for a bit and probably not have to spend too much either. Hopefully that is. Thanks for the great videos. 👍
Thanks for watching Fred! I didn’t like winter in Houston. I definitely could not handle a Canadian winter! Yes, you’ll love it in the Philippines. It may be too hot for you, but there are places like Baguio in the mountains that are not as hot

Flew into Manila multiple time from LA. The only issue I’ve experienced is of course the traffic. I’ve never been scammed by the taxi drivers, or hassled. I find most the people in the Philippines to be quit helpful. My last trip in March I scheduled a grab driver once I arrived, very reasonable.

i flew into cebu city last year and i had one taxi driver try to charge me 700 pesos for a ride that was about 200, i told him " listen, i know the price, should i call over the security guard? " he said 250, im like good. lol but after that, i sometimes use local taxi because they do know good food spots but i use Grab regardless

That is exactly what I did take printed of the cab before boarding as well as the inside of the cab cause numbers and info are inside or better get picture of the driver's ID and thzt the meter is turned on. Good advise Juell

OMG!!!!!! No!!! I have to go back to the US in August. I have not even looked at flights yet. I broke my my flight up to come here: Houston to LA…had dinner with a friend in Hollywood and stayed overnight, 3 nights in Honolulu, and then business class flight to Guam and Manila the next day…..and that was miserable. I can’t imagine what you are going through

About DNA in the Philippines, i believe there is a company ,EASY DNA in Manila, Raffy Tulfo program uses it and is recognized by the Philippine courts.
I’m sure they have them now, but that was a long time ago when he had to get it done In Arizona
What was the process, how long and how much to get a US divorce to a Filipina recognized in the Philippines?

If you marry her in the 🇵🇭 even if you are both in the USA and you divorce her here you can never marry again in the 🇵🇭-you can marry a Flipina as long as you are divorced and you never married in the 🇵🇭 in the first place-(unless it was annulled)
Lots of folks mention they have issues landing in Manila, I've had no real issues. Sure the cabfare may be a bit inflated, but that happens in the west too, it's still way cheaper in Manila, it least the rides I've taken.
If I compare it to Bangkok the visa check was a breeze in Manila and they were nice.
Sure in Bangkok you can take their skytrain, but the airport there is a big place and can be pretty confusing, just to find the train stations there the first time can be a bit of a hassle, if you have luggage and such. In Manila you just go through the visa checks and then some guy shows you the taxis, pretty simple which may be good if you've had a long flight.
And as for Manila itself, it's like most big asian cities, way too much traffic, overcrowded and worn down places next to new ones, asian cityplanning do leave a lot to be desired in my opinion. But as all of the Ph., in my experience, it's friendlier than other asian countries and compared to the west it feels safer considering its size.

You guys are funny, I wish it's not the same family that my husband marries before me. He marry sister and took her to the US, soon as she got her green card, she leave him for his best friend. Them. the mother in law said, don't worry I still have another daughter and he comes back to the Philippines to marry the sister again. Unfortunately, the honest sister told him that she was married to an ex con after sending money every month for 5 years. Isn't that something?

I was in Texas, so I did everything online for $250. Is that what you meant, or did you mean “how much did I have to give my exes”?

The PH will only recognize a divorce if you were married in a country with divorce. If you were married i the PH, then divorced in the US, theres zero chance ur divorce is getting recognized in the ph
