I love the breeze from sea. That view from the windows of the ocean is stunning. I would have thought that the owner would live on the top floor. Just incredible! Damn! I want to get the Philippines right now, if I could have a place like this waiting for me. The video is very clear and one can see all the beautiful colors. This is really the paradise of my dreams! The Philippines is so beautiful. Sure, it has problems with infrastructure etc...but you cannot beat the incredible natural beauty of the place. This is what is called "living"!!
We have never seen the house from the front before. It looks like a 5 star hotel!!! Mark showed us a few pictures but we just showed us a few short videos but this is fantastic! He always said he is blessed. I see why now. It is so beautiful. Why would you want to leave this place?? Mark has won the lottery on life!
Electricity here is relatively cheap as it sources its power from renewable energy, the Palinpinon Geothermal Plant. What a beautiful beachfront villa with a spacious and verdant green yard. The fresh seabreeze eliminates the costly air-conditioner. The bougainvillea blooms pretty well in the Philippines.
Great job Alex! Great to see two UA-camrs working together. Mark is generous to open up the place for all to see. I see why he has a few jealous haters that try to get at him.
The secret to long life is living near the beach, smell the sea breeze. Youll see your batch livin in city but theyre already in heaven coz of sickness while you are still alive and kicken. There is something special of the air you breath from the sea.

Enjoy your videos. Nice to see Mark being interviewed, usually it's the other way. Thanks for the work you do. I have become convinced I need to relocate from Northern Luzon to Dumaguete.
Hi Alex, I thought that Mark looked familiar. When you showed his channel at the end of the video I remembered I found your channel through his interview about your life. What a beautiful place with really nice trees and landscaping for $600.00 a month. The man that owns the house must have a lot of extra money because he could probably get much more rent for the upper floor. I could see why he wants to stay there as long as possible and not buy something. With not being able to own land as a foreigner, it is a big disadvantage to buy a home. His Rottweiler seems like a really chill friendly dog. It is great that you built a friendship with Mark and that he invites you to his home for holidays and special parties.
Hi Ben, thank you for watching. Mark is a really great guy and always ready to help. There are 3 Rottweilers living in this place but actual owner is his neighbor. Wish you a great day ahead

American power bill has gone up. If you have a 5 bedroom home it will most likely cost you 300 min to 500 dollars a month. Winter will be more. Its the reason most homes are switching to solar with battery backup.
Really good Information my friend. From this video I'm now sure provence living probably isn't my cup of tea. I like nature but short term visits will have to do.
Hi Alex. Late commenter here. By now you probably know that Mark's rental house and rent are not typical here. He lucked out on that one. Funny his story about the church and band next door. Exact thing happened to me after we built our house . Another case for renting versus buying. Best of luck with your channel !
The only bad thing about a no lease agreement (month to month)...you can be replaced at a drop of a hat. When people find out that you are only paying P30k for that property...they may be tempted to approach the owner with +P40k per month offer. Leases are often beneficial to the tenant as well...

Many countries are now following the Philippines and other countries that don't allow foreigners to own lands, like the UK, Canada, and Australia. They are all suspending their laws that allow foreigners to own land because their citizens are having a hard time buying a house because of the high cost of real estate.
its because of the Chinese Capitalists .they buy properties and businesses in Western countries .philippines may likely go to the opposite ,they may allow foreigners to own land ,but with certain limitations .
@@truthhurtsalways4u Actually, the Philippines has long been strict about foreign land ownership because many of the lands are owned by indigenous people. And with the situation of the people in the country, where many Filipinos don't own land yet, it will not change even in 30-40 years from now, because if they allow foreigners to own land, the price of the land would just skyrocket overnight.
