My two favorite coleus are Lord Voldemort and Defiance . Both so lovely , I hope to get some seeds from you of Defiance when you have some for sale . You said no seeds from Lord Voldemort . 😭😭
@susanchrist6511 Yes ill have Defiance seeds. I will try again to coax the Lord Voldemort with Bloom booster...will let you know. So far looks like I'll have Saturns Rings, Mosaic, Kong/ Empire Red, Red Scarlet's, Christmas Candy, Jitters and the Surprise Mix.
Your 'mega monsters' look great. Each and every single one is my favorite although Lord Voldemort is special. They are all unique. I always enjoy watching your videos.
I liked the Lord Voldemort, but any that gave the feeling of a drift of color caught my attention. I prefer pots that have one variety, but then mixing pots for interesting combinations.
@briteddy9759 I mix it up... But agree Single potted types are the best...but with the right combination....a multi layered Coleus Mix in a large planter can look Awesome. Others like my Saturn / Mosaic mix not so much so good point!!!
Jim, that “Wizard Rose Fireworks” is GORGEOUS! And the “Lord Voldemort” WOW! My Gosh just look at your Fishnet Stocking! 😱 Holy Flocking Schmidt, that’s one beauty! Personally, I love coleus that is slow to seed. Hit that baby with some bloom booster and it’ll be blooming in no time. 😂 Your Defiance is beautiful! Love that variety so much. Mine is getting HUGE! Your Saturns are awesome too! How the hell can I even pick a favorite?! 😱 They’re all stunning. I guess if you pressed me, I’d say your Fishnet and your Saturn. And your Wizard Rose Fireworks! Ok and your Defiance. LOL 😂 All of them, basically. Haha, so funny about the calibrachoa! It’s so cool that you say it correctly now, though. But I hate to burst your bubble, whatever those are in that pot they are definitely NOT calibrachoas. 😂 I’d have to see them close up, but they look like 4 o’clocks to me. The Zinnia flowers are very beautiful. Nice job.
@Holy.Moly.Coley. FLOCKING SCHMIDT!! 😆 🤣 😂 So funny. Thanks they are all beautiful!!! I bought some Calibracoah seeds for the Aerogarden...thought they were... bit your probably right....they are climbing like mad and the leaves and stems are very " sticky"
Have you had any success rooting leaves? I couldn't believe it actually worked with a large Empire Kong that you sold me the seeds from recently. Gorgeous plant so it broke my heart to have to take off large leaves to let the ones lower down get some light. On impulse I stuck it in some water and it rooted! ps: I hope you'll do a video on rooting your prunings midseason -- which is what I'm doing because I didn't plant nearly enough seeds (as usual).
Yes although I've never rooted leaves. They will root at the stem node!!! I will have more Mega Monster Kong Seeds included plus really nice Saturn varieties in my Seed listing which should go live in about 2 weeks
My favorite, I think it's the 9th one (Empire, Xmas Candy and Jade Combo). The one you have in the front of the house.
@evelynr.4151 The Empire Leaves are INSAAAANELY Large on that one too!!!

How do I keep pests from eating holes in the leaves? One of my favorite coleus is the Empire.
@fauxzein try this product I use. Spray it lightly on the leaves and soil.....
