There are no specific CGPA requirements but read my detailed answer on this below: The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship generally does not have a strict rule for maintaining a specific CGPA during your studies, but there are certain expectations and conditions you need to fulfill. These include: 1. Satisfactory Academic Performance • DAAD requires that you maintain reasonable academic progress in your program. While they don’t explicitly mention a minimum CGPA requirement, failing to perform satisfactorily or consistently underperforming could put your scholarship at risk. • You may need to provide progress reports or transcripts periodically, signed by your academic supervisor, to prove that you’re on track with your studies. 2. Completion Within the Stipulated Time • You are expected to complete your program within the designated duration funded by DAAD. Extensions are typically granted only in exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or other unforeseen issues) and are not guaranteed. 3. Regular Communication with DAAD • DAAD scholars are often required to submit periodic progress updates, either through self-assessment or with input from their academic advisors. These reports allow DAAD to monitor your academic performance. 4. Participation in DAAD Activities • Some DAAD programs encourage or require scholars to participate in events, workshops, or cultural activities. Maintaining good academic performance may also help demonstrate your commitment to the program. Consequences of Not Meeting Expectations: • If DAAD finds that you’re not making satisfactory progress, they may issue a warning or terminate the scholarship. • Extreme cases, such as failing multiple courses or showing a lack of engagement, can lead to cancellation of funding. Tips for Success: • Time Management: Stay on top of deadlines for assignments and exams. • Seek Support: Reach out to your program advisor or professors if you face academic difficulties. • Stay Informed: Review your specific DAAD scholarship conditions carefully, as requirements may vary by program.
Very informative video. Jazak Allah. I studied BFA Graphic Design from LCWU. I'm searching for fully funded scholarship for Master's in Arts or design field. I'll be grateful if you give some more information about documentation. Jazak Allah
Dear islam, fully funded scholarships are possible but you need to check your discipline first, either DAAD is offering scholarships for Masters in Arts, as you know DAAD horizon is so big but still it’s good idea to check with this & don’t rely on one scholarship program, in my playlist you can find many other scholarships opportunities also, apply on them also

"Great video! I have a question about the DAAD Scholarship. As I’ve been researching, I’ve noticed that when I filter the scholarship searches on the DAAD website and select Pakistan as my country, I'm limited in my choices. It appears that I can only apply for specific courses offered (by DAAD for Pakistan) at designated universities for funding. This seems to mean that we don’t have the freedom to choose any university or course of study in Germany. Could you clarify this for me?
You're absolutely correct that the DAAD scholarship opportunities are often country-specific and come with certain restrictions regarding eligible programs and universities. Here's a detailed explanation to clarify your observations about DAAD scholarships for applicants from Pakistan: 1. Country-Specific Scholarships: DAAD tailors its scholarship offerings to different countries, including Pakistan, based on bilateral agreements, funding sources, and academic cooperation priorities. When you filter for Pakistan, the scholarships displayed are those for which applicants from Pakistan are specifically eligible. This means not all DAAD scholarships available globally are accessible to Pakistani students. 2. Designated Programs and Universities: Many DAAD scholarships (especially fully funded ones) are tied to specific programs and partner universities. For Pakistani students, this often includes Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS), which focus on subjects like: Public policy and good governance Engineering Environmental sciences Agricultural economics Social sciences These programs aim to contribute to the development of the applicant’s home country and are hosted by specific German universities that have agreements with DAAD for such funding. 3. Limited Flexibility in Choice of University or Course: For DAAD scholarships that fall under targeted schemes like EPOS, you must choose from the list of pre-approved courses and universities provided by DAAD for your country. This means you can't apply for funding to study any program or at any university in Germany unless it's explicitly listed in the scholarship's eligible options. For example, if you're applying for the DAAD EPOS scholarships, the list of eligible programs will clearly define: Participating universities Courses (typically master’s or PhD programs) Application deadlines and requirements 4. Other Scholarship Options for More Flexibility: If you want the freedom to choose any university or course in Germany, you might need to explore alternative funding options, such as: Deutschlandstipendium: This is a merit-based scholarship offered by individual universities in Germany. University-specific scholarships: Many German universities provide scholarships for international students. Erasmus+ Program: This offers scholarships for joint master's degree programs across European universities, including Germany. Self-Funding + Part-Time Work: Germany allows international students to work part-time (120 full or 240 half days per year), making self-funding an option in some cases. 5. Steps to Proceed: Visit the DAAD Pakistan Page: Review the country-specific opportunities here. Explore EPOS Programs: If you're interested in development-related fields, this program is a great option. Check for Additional Funding Sources: Combine DAAD with other funding opportunities if the restrictions feel limiting. Contact DAAD Representatives in Pakistan: Reach out to the local DAAD office for personalized guidance.
Bro it varies from field to field and institution to institution. Generally there are 5 to 6 seats available. In my scenario, there were 6 seats n 400 candidates.
The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst or German Academic Exchange Service) scholarships are primarily aimed at students applying for higher education (bachelor's, master's, or doctoral studies) in Germany and are not generally available for class 10 or 12 students. However, if you're interested in applying for DAAD scholarships after completing your higher secondary education, here’s what you should know: Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Scholarships: Academic Performance: DAAD typically requires excellent academic performance. While there isn't a fixed percentage requirement mentioned for class 10 and 12, a minimum of 75-85% or above is often expected in your latest qualifications (e.g., your higher secondary education or bachelor's degree, depending on the scholarship type). It's crucial to maintain high academic scores in both 10th and 12th grades, as this reflects your commitment and capability. Eligible Streams: Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are eligible, depending on the program or course you wish to pursue in Germany. DAAD scholarships are available for a variety of disciplines, including: STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) Social sciences and humanities Fine arts and design Business and economics Program-Specific Requirements: After completing class 12, you would likely apply for a bachelor’s degree in Germany. However, most DAAD scholarships are for postgraduate (master’s) or doctoral studies, with very few opportunities for undergraduate students. Some DAAD programs may have specific requirements, such as prior work experience, research proposals, or language proficiency (e.g., IELTS/TOEFL or German language skills). Language Proficiency: For programs taught in English, you’ll need to demonstrate English proficiency through tests like IELTS or TOEFL. For programs in German, knowledge of German (at least B2 level) is typically required. Additional Criteria: Extracurricular achievements, internships, research experience, or participation in relevant projects may strengthen your application. How to Prepare for DAAD Scholarships: Focus on achieving excellent grades in class 10 and 12. Choose a stream aligned with the field you plan to pursue in higher education. Build a strong profile with extracurricular activities, internships, or community involvement. Research undergraduate programs in Germany and confirm their eligibility for DAAD funding or other scholarships. If you're specifically looking for funding opportunities after class 12, you may need to explore other scholarships in Germany, such as the Deutschlandstipendium or university-specific programs. For DAAD, the focus is primarily on higher studies.

I'm really confused about the deadlines for the university and the DAAD Scholarship since they don't seem to align. can you please guide me on this?
when you want to continue masters in 2025, the DAAD scholarship deadline would be in 2024, so don’t confuse this thing, simple rule is you apply for scholarships in previous years like even 6-7 months or in some cases more to achieve scholarship (e.g as in interview the candidate has explained his course has started in September 2023 but the daad scholarship application deadline was in October 2022), Secondly you would see either funding exists in this course or not? Either this course open for scholarships/fundings, once course allows this then you would target 🎯 October 2024 intake (DAAD) then you would be able to secure funding for April 2025 (course intake)

To answer this i will share with you the answer by “Sibtain Haider”, please read it fully you will get a clear picture….. In one word Yes you can! I have met DAAD scholars with GPA around 3.0-3.9 so no objection here. Next question is how you will compete with other students with higher GPA? For this I will like to explain a little more about DAAD or other prestigious scholarships. DAAD or fullbright or some other famous scholarship, they have a strong alumni. why? Because they don’t just select high GPA they select a full package. A person they see some potential to be a leader or be successful in his career. Students with lower GPA usually have great profile overall to overcome this GPA gap. They are socially pro-active in their society and already managing multiple project along with their studies. There are some suggestion that can help you in your application.; If you haven’t wasted your time and was active in some NGO or sports or other social activity this always gives a great impression about you. Some time people went through a trauma during their studies. It is very important to explain that in your application and how you dealt with it and how it has changed your perspective about world etc. Everyone does not has equal opportunity so you need to explain that in your motivation letter how you survived or overcome those difficulties. Show your potential. Sell yourself. Why you will be a good addition in DAAD and how much you want to contribute to your community etc. Last but not least. Always tell your own story. I will have real effect and also a satisfaction. we all have our own versions of reality tell them in motivation letter what motivate you actually what happened and why this you want.
It’s not possible we can’t share details without permissions of our guest speakers, you can mention your questions here, so others will also benefit from this

Is there any rule to maintain the CGPA otherwise the scholarship will be discontinued?
There are no specific CGPA requirements but read my detailed answer on this below:
The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst) scholarship generally does not have a strict rule for maintaining a specific CGPA during your studies, but there are certain expectations and conditions you need to fulfill. These include:
1. Satisfactory Academic Performance
• DAAD requires that you maintain reasonable academic progress in your program. While they don’t explicitly mention a minimum CGPA requirement, failing to perform satisfactorily or consistently underperforming could put your scholarship at risk.
• You may need to provide progress reports or transcripts periodically, signed by your academic supervisor, to prove that you’re on track with your studies.
2. Completion Within the Stipulated Time
• You are expected to complete your program within the designated duration funded by DAAD. Extensions are typically granted only in exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or other unforeseen issues) and are not guaranteed.
3. Regular Communication with DAAD
• DAAD scholars are often required to submit periodic progress updates, either through self-assessment or with input from their academic advisors. These reports allow DAAD to monitor your academic performance.
4. Participation in DAAD Activities
• Some DAAD programs encourage or require scholars to participate in events, workshops, or cultural activities. Maintaining good academic performance may also help demonstrate your commitment to the program.
Consequences of Not Meeting Expectations:
• If DAAD finds that you’re not making satisfactory progress, they may issue a warning or terminate the scholarship.
• Extreme cases, such as failing multiple courses or showing a lack of engagement, can lead to cancellation of funding.
Tips for Success:
• Time Management: Stay on top of deadlines for assignments and exams.
• Seek Support: Reach out to your program advisor or professors if you face academic difficulties.
• Stay Informed: Review your specific DAAD scholarship conditions carefully, as requirements may vary by program.

You're absolutely correct that the DAAD scholarship opportunities are often country-specific and come with certain restrictions regarding eligible programs and universities. Here's a detailed explanation to clarify your observations about DAAD scholarships for applicants from Pakistan:
1. Country-Specific Scholarships:
DAAD tailors its scholarship offerings to different countries, including Pakistan, based on bilateral agreements, funding sources, and academic cooperation priorities.
When you filter for Pakistan, the scholarships displayed are those for which applicants from Pakistan are specifically eligible. This means not all DAAD scholarships available globally are accessible to Pakistani students.
2. Designated Programs and Universities:
Many DAAD scholarships (especially fully funded ones) are tied to specific programs and partner universities. For Pakistani students, this often includes Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS), which focus on subjects like:
Public policy and good governance
Engineering
Environmental sciences
Agricultural economics
Social sciences
These programs aim to contribute to the development of the applicant’s home country and are hosted by specific German universities that have agreements with DAAD for such funding.
3. Limited Flexibility in Choice of University or Course:
For DAAD scholarships that fall under targeted schemes like EPOS, you must choose from the list of pre-approved courses and universities provided by DAAD for your country.
This means you can't apply for funding to study any program or at any university in Germany unless it's explicitly listed in the scholarship's eligible options.
For example, if you're applying for the DAAD EPOS scholarships, the list of eligible programs will clearly define:
Participating universities
Courses (typically master’s or PhD programs)
Application deadlines and requirements
4. Other Scholarship Options for More Flexibility:
If you want the freedom to choose any university or course in Germany, you might need to explore alternative funding options, such as:
Deutschlandstipendium: This is a merit-based scholarship offered by individual universities in Germany.
5. Steps to Proceed:
Visit the DAAD Pakistan Page: Review the country-specific opportunities here.
Explore EPOS Programs: If you're interested in development-related fields, this program is a great option.
Check for Additional Funding Sources: Combine DAAD with other funding opportunities if the restrictions feel limiting.

How much percentage required to apply for DAAD scholarship in class 10 & 12 as well? And from which stream students can eligible ...Please reply
The DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst or German Academic Exchange Service) scholarships are primarily aimed at students applying for higher education (bachelor's, master's, or doctoral studies) in Germany and are not generally available for class 10 or 12 students. However, if you're interested in applying for DAAD scholarships after completing your higher secondary education, here’s what you should know:
Eligibility Criteria for DAAD Scholarships:
Academic Performance:
DAAD typically requires excellent academic performance.
Eligible Streams:
Students from all streams (Science, Commerce, or Arts) are eligible, depending on the program or course you wish to pursue in Germany. DAAD scholarships are available for a variety of disciplines, including:
STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
Social sciences and humanities
Fine arts and design
Business and economics
Program-Specific Requirements:
After completing class 12, you would likely apply for a bachelor’s degree in Germany.
Language Proficiency:
For programs taught in English, you’ll need to demonstrate English proficiency through tests like IELTS or TOEFL.
For programs in German, knowledge of German (at least B2 level) is typically required.
Additional Criteria:
Extracurricular achievements, internships, research experience, or participation in relevant projects may strengthen your application.
How to Prepare for DAAD Scholarships:
Focus on achieving excellent grades in class 10 and 12.

@@SalmanHashmiTravelTheWorld After completing the whole form of DAAD where we submit the whole form?
I have researched the daad scholarship thoroughly and have chosen Rhein waal university of applied sciences (kamp lintfort) for Master's in interactive design (english tough program for summer semester). Please help me for documentation because I'm little bit confused about procedure of documentation. JazakAllah
This is good that you have researched & now you know specifically the university & the degree they are offering on DAAD, it’s always a good start, please let me know on which part of documentations you have confusions?
Do we need IELTS for applying DAAD Scholarship?
Yes, you always need “proof of English language certificate” to secure admission & scholarships, this is pre-requisite that you are eligible to study in English courses, in some cases universities ask you to submit only certificate (even it’s not IELTS), in that particular scenarios (without ielts & English certificate made by your current university) is enough but in general you need it for sure
can we apply for another masters? like I have already done my masters and I am a gold medalist.. plus I have got scholarship in my last masters
Congratulations 🎊 on getting Gold medal, the scholarship you have mentioned, it was DAAD scholarship?
@@SalmanHashmiTravelTheWorld i was talking about my previous masters and i have completed this one in Pakistan and got Peef scholarship which was actually merit based
@@SalmanHashmiTravelTheWorld no it was not DAAD.
If you are already in Germany 🇩🇪 on daad scholarship then in first 6months you can get second scholarship & join the second one but chances of getting it would be low after 6months, only in case of phd there could be some exceptions
You can apply for DAAD, because you only have to check the possibility either it was related to DAAD or not
Eligibility cgpa 3.27 enough ?
There are some suggestion that can help you in your application.;
If you haven’t wasted your time and was active in some NGO or sports or other social activity this always gives a great impression about you.
How can i contact him. I need some answers, my questions are not open ended but genuine and i need guidance.
It’s not possible we can’t share details without permissions of our guest speakers, you can mention your questions here, so others will also benefit from this
I need your help

Writting a public comment about specific questions would help other students also, as purpose of this video to educate new students and motivate them to apply for DAAD-SCHOLARSHIPS
Plz answer the following query
Do they veeify the job experience via bank transactions or just check the experience letter , cz i have received my sallary in cash ?
Kindly cnfirm sir.
Well, i have never heard from anyone that they have checked the bank details of someone to prove the job, your experience letters would be enough for them, you can go on with this if you have experience letters
Thankyou so much Sir,
❤

@@SalmanHashmiTravelTheWorld Minimum CGPA? I do have 3.32cgpa. Is it good enough?
@@staymotivatedkk Yes, i have met some guys here on scholarships with even lower CGPA, so it is only one part of your whole application, don't make it excuse of not applying and competing in with whole world, if as a whole application is fine/Good then you would definitely get it
