Lots of fun striper action! FG knot is one of my go-to knots, especially when using my SPJ rods with smaller guides. When using barrel swivels, I've been using a simple uni knot. Thankfully, it hasn't failed me so far 😅 Tight lines brother!
Thanks Rafi! Yes, love using them now. All my lines are now fitted with FGs. Hope your lines hold to the barrel swivels with the uni knot! I was likely using the wrong knot haha.
Awesome trip my friend! This shows how important it is to pay attention to every little detail because some days it really can make a difference, sometimes it don’t matter what you throw they will eat it but other times they can be real picky about what they eat and noticing things like what bait they are keying on and adjusting to match it can be a game changer. Oh yeah, I gots lots of great footage stored away where I turned the camera off thinking I was turning it on and some footage I accidentally hit the delete button and filed it away forever😂😂😂
@@billreddochoutdoors5968 thanks buddy! Yeah it was a very good learning experience trying to match what they were eating. A great experience. Too bad I didn't have my fly rod with a sand shrimp imitation 😔. I was so mad as you could tell 😂, it's painful especially when you catch a nice one and don't get it on 📸
Thank you! I had to adjust the strategy in this one, It paid off! Great learning experience and a very fun striped bass session. Pardon the frustrations at the end of the video! 🤣😅
Absolutely EPIC fishing, brother! Once the weather complied and you had a decent day out there, you were smashing em! Topwater, matching the hatch, micro lures... Awesome!! Great video, Brody! 🤙🤙✌️🎣
Hey Kevin! Yeah not everyday is great out there I'll be honest! I get mad sometimes lol. This was a great session though and adapted well to the feeding habits I was presented with. Thanks for the comment brother! 🙏🤙🎣
This video was so helpful for those trying to figure out the best striped bass lures in different situations. So cool seeing you started with one and then crushing it with the small micro bait lures! This was just super informative for striped bass fishing all around, so much info and motivation! Loving the music used in this one too, so relaxing 👍👍👍 #stripedbassattack #stripedbasslures #fishingtips #stripedbassfishingtips #bassfishing #eastcoastcanada #princeedwardisland #fishingcanada
@@angelarush1815 Thank you so much! I loved this session. It may not be super exciting to some but it was a win in my books! It would have been nice to have a shrimp imitation. Would have done well! Especially shrimp fly imitation for the fly rod. 😊

Having bananas on a boat is bad juju. Bad luck.
Some days I'd like to think lol but most days I do well with them in my kayak!
Great!!
