That FE is a straight up legend!
Oh I love guys flying airliners with gloves on.
its like comforting chauffeur who you would tell you deppest problems to
First Sam Chui, now you. Great. Can´t have enough man.
1:06:45. It’s one of the things I really respect about Patrick. He is very cognizant of staying out of the way and allowing the flight crew to perform their duties with zero interruptions from him. You would think it’s common sense but I imagine there have been some who have made it to the flight deck and made it all about them.
Thanks a lot, the first priority for me is always to deliver you guys some authentic content, thats feels like you are sitting right next to me watching the Pilots doing their job.
Love these movies, especially the ones featuring, older, all analog Cockpit birds.
me too creating content about the older planes is also more fun to me and it always brings back some olde memorys
You guys are marvelous. Do comuuuaga
Ain.
AWESOME.
BOEING 727-200 IS A ROCKET SHIP. WITH THE PRATT & WHITNEY
JT8D MOTORS. REALLY MISS THIS AIRPLANE IN u.s.
What a nice crew.... 1979 I flew on the 727 on Eastern Airlines a lot of times during a roundtrip throughout the States, Mexico and the Carribeans. All for 369 $, no limits in 4 weeks. We were in the air nearly every day. Wonderful memories brought back by the cockpit-members. Best wishes from Germany .
The captain is amazing very confident man
this was supreamly a beautiful video
Thank you so much!
This aircraft reminds me of a 1970 Chevy Nova 350. The way the cockpit is old school and the dash is worn on top....awesome!
Wow, a flight engineer. Cool
My Dad worked for Eastern 1967 at JFK. USA
I enjoy watching the flights that still have a flight engineer.
What a classic Plane, the best of Boeing, and a bird that still makes us all Airliner lovers turn our heads and sigh whenever we're lucky to see one! FANTASTIC VIDEO!!
My favorite crew I’ve watched in any video. Definitely some REAL pilots.
Patrick, you're making the best cockpit videos on UA-cam
One of the greatest aircraft ever built.
The S duct, the trijet, the 3 holer,
the WhisperJet, the birds feathers, the ventral stairs, able to lift one third its gross weight
in payload, 3 man cockpit, on and on plus it is a natural beauty graceful majestic and
powerful...so capable.
The Boeing 727...
Acrossed the Decades of Time.
B727... quite an amazing classic after flying the Fokker 28 for Jetlink company in Kenya way back in the day. I must say I admire the flight Engineers seat being an Aircraft Engineer myself. ASTRAL company has come along way from the DC9 to classic wide bodies currently.
I hope there comes a new chance to fly with this crew. Amazing friendly people, so nice. You feel this was an amazing day and it feels like having been together with them in the cockpit!
WOUUUUUUUU ESTOY MUY ADMIRADO POR EL VIDEO TAN PRACTICO EXPLICANDO TODO EL PROCEDIMIENTO DE PREPARACION DE LA CABINA Y LA FORMA EN QUE REALIZAN LA RUTINA DE CHEKING . ME GUSTO TANTO QUE ME SENTI QUE VIAJABA CON LOS PILOTOS Y SOBRE TODO CON UN PERSONAJE DE PILOTO BOLIVIANO POR QUE SOY DE BOGOTA COLOMBIA ,LOS FELICITO POR ESTAR EN UNO DE LOS MEJORES AVIONES CLASICOS EL 727 EL CUAL YO VIAJABA COMO PASAJERO POR TODA COLOMBIA ES ESPECTACULAR . MIS FELICITACIONES JORJE G
Superb! I loved flying on 727s with TWA . . . . .
I really did enjoy watching this clip. Thumbs up the the great crew. Best of luck in their flying careers.
Unbelievable, I have to meet that captain one day, fly and chat with him. I am a lover of the B727 as well! Great job performed by everybody! Thanks for this amazing video!
Thanks a lot!
Wonderful seeing the 727 doing her thing. I'm so envious of you Patrick getting to fly in these aircraft, and bringing us this great footage.
I like you starting with the 727, it reminds me of US Air Force 727 Med-Evac flights.
Love the Ethiopian jazz kinda music to set the mood.
Thanks Patrick. Huge fan of your channel and now that you featured an company from my country Kenya that just puts the cherry on the cake!
Thank you Mark! Look forward to. Lot more coming up from your country!
Mercy!!! My lil sister dispatching this beast.... Proud of you miss!!n
Legends in the cockpit!
Thank you greetings from Germany :)
We’re arrived. Thanks for the ride, boys!
I truly miss Braniff as I grew up in a Braniff family. Great vid👍
Great video and crew. Boeing has the best looking wings/flaps and the 727 has the most beautiful extensions of them all.
Fascinating. Absolutely fascinating. I was riveted to my armchair for the whole episode, watching waaay past my bed time 👍 safe flying gentlemen
ENJOYED watching and thanks for taking us with you on the Astral 727 !! 👍👍👍 Best regards from EDDF ;-)
One of the greatest cockpit-movies I've ever seen, and man, what a crew!
Perhaps my favorite flight video ever. It has everything. Quite relaxing too.
This brings back memories of a trip around the USA I went on with my father as a 14 year old. We had a Delta standby ticket for three weeks. We flew on a few 727s and I managed to be invited to sit in the Captains seat (on the ground and pre-2001). If only I had a camera for a photo.
A very good video showing how well the crew do there job. And at 46 years old the 727 is still flying well !!
Damn love this old planes
Great series this was one of the best from this crew, they were committed and enthusiastic, and the message was to everyone to 'follow your dream', that is the key to anyone enthusiastic about the flying game. This was a perfect example of three accomplished airmen following a dream and watching their dreams in action too. Well done the plethora of different types of planes and crews is a pleasure to watch and experience sitting at home in an armchair to while away time, flying to new destinations in many varied classic and modern aircraft, an experience that can only happen in this age of UA-cam and current technology, thanks to AIR CLIPS for our pleasurable pastimes as well!
Wow thank you for the nice comment,
The video just shows that hard work and consistency will pay off and get you to the place you want to be in. After this step all doors are open and practice makes perfect.
Great stuff, Patrick. Appreciate how much work you put into these films.
Smooth flight. enjoyed watching
Great Airplane and his crew. And of course great shooting,Thank you for nice movie.
Most welcome :))
Very nice and thanks for the flight. I always loved the 727 and I love the fact we have these capable pilots and engineers still flying the old fashoned way.

First clip ever I watched completely✌️ Awesome crew, nice machinery, interesting destinations and pleasantly hosted by the german video guy.
Love the 727!
Long time since I flew in a 727. About 1987. Very enjoyable seeing just steam gauges.
Enjoyed watching this....
I really like it when you get to be in the cockpit and when you get to interview the crew. Thanks for the great information that is in these videos.
I agree I also enjoy it more when im able to do a format where the captain and crew are able to explain facts about their daily work.
Greetings from Patrick :)
Hi guys these are the best flights i haveseen great work keep it up more flights please.
Absolutely wonderful video. Great crew and conversation. Reminded me of how much fun the 727 was to fly.
Awesome gloves.
They are!
Absolutely great crew!
The best!
the communication and teamwork was fantastic to watch. Fly safe!
Hello my friends so for you'll for sharing I love it all it's so great to know keep up the great work GOD bless you'll love
Loved every single minute, wonderful people ❤ ♥ 💕
I would have to put this in my top 5 of all time Air-Clips movies. Absolutely loved the 727 (come on MSFS, someone pull the finger out for this bird) and the Captain was awesome. He wasn't letting the Co Pilot touch that Yoke was he lol? Having too much fun he was. 😁 Awesome job as always Patrick. You the man.
The crew only learned about the filming project a few hours before the flight, due to operational changes. This was supposed to be a training flight (Captain Jorge is instructor, F/O Zulfiqar trainee). In order to make the film happen, both agreed to skip training and leave all flying to the Captain for the film. In exchange, F/O did. all the sectors next day - under training. Thanks to this great crew for this lovely arrangement in support of the film
great old school flying..
Great 727 video. My favorite aircraft ever built. ❤️
Fantastic, what do you like about it that much ?
Love the 727! Thanks.
L.
First time watcher. You do a very nice job and very professional. Thanks for making these videos! Love the B727.
Thank you Patrick for what you do so we can watch and enjoy from our home! My favorite aviation youtuber!
Glad you enjoy it! Thank you for the awesome support it means a lot to me :)
@@AirClipscom You're welcome!
Remembered this plane flying from Puerto Rico to Dominican Republic when my parents were missionaries. The sound of this plane is unique.
I flew for Braniff Airways back when that aircraft was delivered. Probably have logged time on that 727. Capt John Reiss.
Fantastic video!!! Thank all!!!
I miss FE. I thought they'd never be eliminated.
Nice video my friend!✈️👍🏼
I'd always assumed those rear airstairs were closed in, and would not expose so much of the inner workings to passengers that would have been boarding/exiting.
Absolutely fantastic video, thank you!
Great crew from my neighbour be blessed
Yes they are
What a heartwarming video, you are all genuine good people. The world of aviation has no political barriers, just a pure love of flying, aircraft (especially the classic variety!👍) and all nationalities work together as one. Sounds like hippie nonsense in this dark and crazy world?. Then I’m a hippie..with an iPhone and many UA-cam subscriptions. Peace, man✌️😅
AMAZING VIDEO... SAFE FLIGHTS, AS WE PILOTS SAY
I love this airplane, and I love this video. Thank you.
Wow that’s kind of you! Reading this made me smile 😊
Best regards Patrick
Very nice Patrick.
A very enjoyable watch thank you Patrick and the crew 👏👏👏🏴
My pleasure geez to hear that you had fun 🤩
Hello Patrick! In my opinion, one of the most versatile aircraft ever built by Boeing, yes, it was the 727. I remember well other aircraft with the same power of operational scenario here in my city of Fortaleza, some time ago, more precisely in the 80's. airline called Trans Brasil, it had B 707 and B 727 aircraft and these aircraft changed roles during the day. For example, the B 707 arrived here in my city at 0630 in the morning on a cargo flight, all the cargo was quickly removed and then the seats were placed, for exactly at 1030 this same aircraft would take a flight with passengers, as well as the B 727 that had the same function, I remember that the B 727 had a name at the end that was... QC (Quick Change) As always Patrick, you have posted excellent videos. Greetings from Fortaleza, northeast of Brazil.
nice comment Gilberto loved reading the story about Fortaleza. Never heard that a airline was able to change a cargo plane to a passenger in 4 hours must be operated by excellent workers!
even QC planes are really rare in the past did you work for that airline ?
-greetings from Patrick
Great video and great crew
Thank you for sharing.. Nice 727-200 there still able to fly... We used to have the 727-200s here with United Airlines...
Love this one, as I told you when we met online, the 727 is my favorite Commercial aircraft. Great video Patrick, keep up the great work!
Thanks again! I love this one aswell it just got a diffrent vibe and reminds me of diffrent times
That captain is amazing. Just seen linked in that he’s back on the 737 max
Yes he is one of the best. A 737 max suits him well. :)
Great video - thanks!
My pleasure!
Great video! Cool Captain! I love the B727.
Still my favourite aircraft. I miss it….first aircraft I ever turned a wrench on. HS748, B721, B722, B732, B733, B734, B737, B762, AT43, AT45, AT72 in my history. B722 was labor intensive….often a snag wagon…….but she was beautiful. Those JT8D always sounded amazing pre or post STAGE 3 mods. The APU on the other hand left me with tinitis due to my stupidity 😂🤬. It’s too bad they couldn’t find a way to re-engine them with CFM’s or something similar. Those JT8D-2XX’s were a stop gap on the “Super” mod. Had they found a way to get modern efficient engines bolted to all 3 positions, I’m sure way more of these old girls would be buzzing around. The airframe itself to my recollection was a tank
This was good video but I did noticed the Captain flew all the legs. No chance for the First officer to do one takeoff or one landing. Just my observation.
Thanks to this great crew for this lovely arrangement in support of the film 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Excellent video really enjoyed watching it.
Hi Patrick, what a wonderful video with a wonderful crew. My favorite spot 1:26:50 👍
Best regards and all the best to all of you!
Torsten 🤓🎺👍
Good Job, thanks for that. It's beautiful !
Very cool. Thanks for sharing!
So, Patrick, a challenge. Fly Aerosucre...if you dare. 😉
I’d take that challenge anytime, it just hasn’t come up yet :)
Excellent video. Would like to see some Russian or some rare jets:)
I would sit in the cargo area just for the ride lols.
This is a very good video on the insites of the job and how good every body is on the job
Thank you for sharing
🙂🙂🙂🙂😉😉😉
Australia
Great video, very nice crew 👌
Is there a possibility of missing a spot during the walk-around? Does the captain do one before the flight engineer?
You even put a Gopro on the pushback vehicle, wow!
Im always trying something different for better videos :)
Oh my gosh I flew on Braniff in 1976 when I was 13 to Colorado. That was my last time on an airplane! I’m terrified of flying🤦♀️🤷🏼♀️
Are you interested into aviation, despite your fear of flying?
Use to work for a add company that to advertise for Braniff International Airlines that was away back when Harding Lawrence was chairman of the company in the 60s 70s just a short while ago We advertised for (TWA) Trans World Airlines but we dropped them they were an $10 million a year contract we picked up Braniff for a cool £18 million a year contract good money back then
8:28 in lack of intercom , knock the frame!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great video!!!!
Beautiful
Good memories - i am 72 young years now, bu we flew every other leg, this guy is not letting the 2p fly. Maybe this is the policy of ASTRAL? Low time pilots can not do this for a while, but sitting absorbing experience..
The crew only learned about the filming project a few hours before the flight, due to operational changes. This was supposed to be a training flight (Captain Jorge is instructor, F/O Zulfiqar trainee). 👏👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍👍😊
Hugs from Brazil!
