Work is progressing on the fishing boat, today we paint the top half of the boat, the inside and do something really special with the rear deck!
All painted using Raptor Coating
We are restoring this boat to take part in the Sea Angling Classic fishing competition, just one problem, we don't know how to fish!

what a joy it is to watch the two of you working and laughing together yet accomplishing so much. the boat looks absolutely beautiful and i have to imagine that the fish will be lining up at the hook to be the first to take a look at the boat from the inside. congratulations on such a wonderful job and as always, an incredibly entertaining video.

What cool little boat, and I LOVE the paint job! I'm really fond of 60s-70s boat designs and your color choices make it really stand out. 4 hours just tape that floor!? Totally worth it.

Y’all need to carpet the boards on your boat trailer to protect the bottom of the boat,here in America we use indoor/outdoor carpet and wrap the boards and secure the carpet on the underside of the board. 4:30 pm cst

Great job guys! Looks awesome. I've done both painting and sheetrock and I have to say... Texture will hide a multitude of sins! Got a slight boo boo? Put a little extra texture and it goes away. Also couldn't help but hear K C and The Sunshine Band playing "Shake Your Bootie" while Gemma was going at it with that can of paint! You guys do great work, one of the reasons I watch this channel.

Nice job! I hope the Rapter paint holds up. You'll have to give us an update in a couple of years to tell us how it's holding up. I bet it will be fine! It reminds me of a paint for a pickup truck, like a Rhino lining type of paint.
It looks fabulous, BUT, just a criticism from the safety point of view, If I had just shouted a mayday, and rescue was on the way, I would want my boat to be as visible as possible, and a grey boat against a grey sea can disapear, especially if it is upside down, and you are clinging to the hull! Love the channel and can't wait to see Sarinda cut her moorings and open those engines out! Many years ago I did the RYA yachtmaster offshore course! Loved it! The red striped floor is just AWESOME as the Yanks would say!

That is what V Sheets are for and everyone should have one in the safety kit along with the flares and sea dye markers.

Before you paint frames on the windows, If you are using acrylic, paint them on the outside. They will adhere better and longer.

As all who have spoken before my self it's a pleasure seeing what your doing. And always seam to be smiling 😃 on both of your channels ,sound job. But the hard bit comes next . The fishing it is a bit easier on the boat you need to understand,bait what works at what time of year. In wales in winter its worm and squid🐙 and in the summer time fish bait mackerel squids sand eel, soft crab, rag and lugwoorms Understand the bottom how fish feed. How a bank would fish on a flooding tide, and ebing tide. A good plotter is one answer. Tight lines,🎣 love your content 😅🏴

For those saying the paint job is going to be invisible on the ocean, that is why mariners carry radios, V Sheets, EPIRBs, flares and dye markers.

On my son’s channel we’ve been turning an abandoned Home Depot shed into a tiny house and recently built a tool shed (a shed shed) to test out the board and batten and some other things, but mostly to move our junk out of the workshop. It was so nice to be done in 2 weeks! Thank you for all the videos!
