Wow, this journey through Belgium has left me speechless! From the enchanting canals of Brugge to the timeless beauty of the Ardennes, it feels like we've traveled through history and nature's masterpieces all at once. The way you've captured each city's charm, from Brussels’ grand squares to Dinant's musical soul, is simply magical. I’m already dreaming of wandering those cobblestone streets, exploring hidden gems, and soaking in the stories behind every wall and riverbank. Thank you for opening my eyes to Belgium's wonders-I can’t wait to experience it all firsthand!
Another hidden gem is Redu, the books village. Many, many bookstores with second hand and antique books - most in French, but many other languages too - set in a beautiful village. All bibliophiles invited - bring a big bag!
Wait untill spring or summer. During autumn and winter our weather can be very wet and gray, we tend to be very tired all the time and short tempered. Although Brussels is where most tourists want to go, I advise you to avoid it due to a high level of immigrants and crime. Also, be aware of language barriers. In the north, we speak dutch and English is mostly fine, however the more south you go, the harder English will be because they speak Franch over there. I hope you'll enjoy your trip here, whenever and wherever you'll go
@@Rexy_Raccoon I live in Antwerp and visit Brussels a lot (for concerts), even in the evening and the night. Never had any problems. Off course you better avoid some areas at night, like Brussels North and South (Midi) and Schaerbeek and Molenbeek. In summer it can be quite hot in Belgium though. Winter is depressing, getting dark at 16.30 , cold, rain etc. It is true that in the South (Wallony) people are no good at English, definitely not the older people.
In the first minutes you show German beer and a Dutch town. Also the Semois river is no canal. It's most famous for the big bends in it, creating almost isles.
Hello top travel nice to see & watching your vedio in Belgium 🇧🇪 we are proud you lije Belgium ..I'm here in Belgium married a belgian ..very nice pla e to see in Belgium small town region Brugge & Durby is the best to visit lots of rivers kayaking & adventure in mountains ..thanks for your Amazing vedio ❤❤❤
A few places I'd recommend (very good recommendations in the video already), "Les grottes de Han" close to Rochefort are beautiful natural caves that you can explore on a boat and is definitely worth trying once in your life. The natural reserve from Knokke, not far from Ostende, is also definitely a great time just visiting around, then some biking around in the sand dunes near the sea !
I loved the iconic canals of Bruges and the stunning architecture of Ghent, as well as exploring hidden gems like Durbuy and the beautiful Ardennes. Let’s explore!🤓🤓

BTW.: Antoine-Joseph "Adolphe" Sax. He also invented the saxotromba, saxhorn and saxtuba, and redesigned the bass clarinet in a fashion still used to the present day
Hi from the Belgian Ardennes. We have many rivers in our region, but no canals. Canals are to be found in the plains of central and western Belgium, not in our part of the country which is too hilly, almost mountaineous, for the easy construction of canals.
1 city that should certainly not be missed and called the city of war is ypres(ieper)whit the stunning cloth hall(lakenhalle),menin gate(menepoort)and ypres fortresses(ieperse vestingen) and its not in the video
Great video but I have a very important question in regards to drone flight. Did you receive permission to fly in the center of Brussels? Because this is No Fly Zone and with specific permissions necessary. You need prior flight approval.

Also when you look at the townhall in brussels the tower is not in the center off it, the architect killed himself when he got ridiculed for this constantly
2:17 The Bulldog is in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) right? We do not have legal coffee shops (weed stores) in Belgium. So why that footage? And yes we do have a National Day. As you say it is the 21st of july and some people do celebrate it. Most are just happy they don't have to go to work. As a Belgian myself I do believe that most of these "wonders" you mention, are just tourist traps. Who in their right mind would put Brussels, Oostende (yes Ostend) and Antwerpen (Antwerp) in this. Durbuy used to be nice but became also one giant tourist trap since the entire village was bought by one of our billionaires.
Try our fresh mayonaise with fries. If you ask in a restaurant they might want to prepare some for you. The bottled or jarred stuff doesn't remotely taste like the real stuff.
The problem with these videos is, that NOTHING AT ALL of it, is original footage from the "Channel Owner". It's all scraped off the internet. In that way, it's FAKING (...purpose is click-bait money rising)
