- I think I'm getting rusty in doing animatic so have a small wish fan animatic :D, anyways university was fun, I learn lots of thing!

In fact, my so-called canon name for Starboy is Earendel because it means "morning star" or "dawn" and also most distant star of all cosmos as dawn symbolizes notions of hope and illumination which almost matched with Asha means "hope".
It's also similar to the name of the kingdom from Frozen. That way it's a reference and its own thing at the same time.
That's such A nice name! And I really like the symbolism of it 🫶
I always imagined his name would be Aster since it's Hebrew for star.

izarru, the basque name for "star", is my preferred replacement name :) a touch more unusual, more distinct than the "arendelle" reference, and matches the iberian setting of the film

ThE animatic is amazing but the film from what I've heard is very generic and stuff
The animatics are doing a better job than what the movie does. So much wasted potential that fan creators use to create new intriguing narratives and revamp characters
When a 57 sec animatic has more magic than an actual Disney movie, you know they've screwed up...

this is beautiful!!! you should make one where they actually get to talk 🥺🥺 and since someone mentioned giving Asha actual motivations, i believe she would’ve wished because not only are the people of the kingdom actively suffering because they’re separated from their purposes in life, but also because her grandfather has held onto hope so long that his wish would be granted, only for the chance to be lost and he is slowly going to fade away (this is because he is now losing hope, and because he has been separated from that vital piece of himself) and since the king would’ve deliberately refused to grant Sabino’s wish despite knowing it would literally *save his life,* it would’ve started to build stakes. once Asha sees these signs all around her and has that fight with Magnifico where he shouts “I DECIDE what they deserve!” she would go to the stars as her last resort because she would remember what her father always said to her. (also the fight would be way more intense and i would have Magnifico say really awful things about his citizens and then shout that he decides what they deserve when Asha says they deserve more.) but this is me just spitballing sorry this animatic is beautiful tho ‼️‼️

HUH THIS IS AMAZING BECOME A STORYBOARD ARTIST
What SHOULD have been. But Disney seems more interested in playing it safe and loosing money than having a romantic straight main character couple now.
Now how would have introduced him is that right after she finished the wish she notices the star starts to glow brighter and get bigger, almost like its getting closer before it narrowly misses Asha and lands in the bushes. Then as you showed she goes to investigate the glowing in the bushes before Starboy pops up and they startle each other.
I was bored so i tried to continue the dialogue
Asha: why are you glowing!?
Starboy: Why aren't you?
Asha: What? people don't-
(Starts floating around her)
Starboy: So how's life been? Well probably not good or you wouldn't have called me, then again-
Asha: What? i didn't call you!
Starboy: are you sure?-
Asha: No i- unless
Starboy: oh! did the gears finally click? It does take a sec sometimes
Asha: you're the star?
Starboy: you say that like it's a bad thing?
(Gets scared)
You don't hate stars do you?
Asha: No i was just. I wasn't expecting an interaction, heck i didn't even think it'd work!
Starboy: well I'd be bad at my job if i didn't help
Asha: wait people hate stars? I mean i get not believing in them-
Starboy: trust, me. Some Kingdoms down South
Asha: So you can grant people's wishes? Can you grant my grandfather's?
(Crosses his arms)
Starboy: Wow, you call me down here just to use me, and you don't even ask for my name (he is mostly joking with this statement)
Asha: Oh i guess that is kinda rude. I'm Asha then what's your's?
Starboy: Earendel (bows while saying it) (thank you @GwynethRoseCliff)
Asha: Sorry about that. I'm just under a lot of stress is all
Starboy: figures, most who call me are under intense pressure and that's fine Asha. But you know what helps me with stress?
Asha: you get stress?
Starboy: Yes! Every living creature has stress
Asha: That's Depressing, so are you going to wish my stress away
Starboy: No sadly i can't do that, but what takes stress of mind. Flying
Asha: Flying? I don't want to fly
Starboy: Trust me. you do
(Makes her fly)
Asha: Agh! How do i stay up in the air??
Starboy: Just think positive

I understand you. Is Just... I am seeing that slowy other artists are doing the same. We are making a fandom over the concept,and that is awesome! I Just want to make clear to everyone that the bones of this movie needs to be changed in other of It being good!
I have a little Idea that you hits can use:
What If... Instead of magnífico and the Queen being the ones that made the city, why not... Asha's parents were the Queen and the king in the past, and her family had a long history of rulling the kingdom of rosas, but them... An evil couple, wanted to their bad wishes to be granted, the king did not let tem have It, and somehow they rebelled and took the kingdom and started to rule over It.... Asha's parents died, and she had to live with her grandad who maneged to escape, his wish was to everything turma back the way It was... And so was her's she wanted freedom and peace for her people, but Also to herself
@@damiaaso, she would be a Princess, a Lost Princess! The good ruler that the people needed!
In good stories se always have this: good, prospeous, kingdoms have always rules that have a good heart and intentions
A bad kingdom have a ruler that IS twice as bad behavior as the place itself!
We see It on movies like the Lion king with mufasa and scar. And even in snow white...
