Yeah agreed, there are just so many resources around on youtube that would help you stay in touch with the latest new LLM, although i do see lesser such innovation in traditional ML algorithms which don't really have much variation over time
Everyone needs a stable career ain't it. And at the cost that data science interests me, should we still think about what's gonna happen in terms of uncertainty?!
It is a very stable career. There is also ML Engineering, which I transitioned into roughly two years ago and it is even more niche and extremely stable!
Hey, the future is uncertain I would say, but that doesn't mean the job will suddenly disappear. I recently transitioned to an ML Engineer role as well!
Congratulations on that! @@egorhowell . You're maybe right in a way. It feels uncertain, I just saw this video yesterday and today there's deepseek all over the internet. We never know.
@gmennc2648 what were the biggest challenges you had when transitioning to a ML Engineer? I am currently a senior product/workforce management analyst with 3 years experience. Working on my bachelor's in data science. Would like to eventually move to ml engineer or ai engineer. Any advice?
It isn't easy to enter, and I am looking for new positions. I see that some companies want a wizard. You are better than me in several roles, but I have more experience than you and have published research papers. I like several subjects related to data scientists' work, but there is a lot more to explore that I saw in several positions that I haven't explored yet. But I like this world, and I will improve the application process.
thing like heuristics, linear programming etc. I have a list of articles on Medium on these topics: medium.com/@egorhowell/list/optimisation-algorithms-069bf9c6c8d5
Great video! Also your editing is quite clean.
Glad you think so!
I intend to listen to what you are saying and not being distracted typing this, i intend to be dslata scientist
good luck!
how do you keep yourself updated? from which sources do you follow innovations in the sector in your daily life?
mainly youtube and social media, I just follow AI news channels

this is true, and the classical ML algorithms are the ones that provide the most value!
what do you think it is better for the future preparing a career as data engineer or data scientist in term of security
hard to tell, they are both kindve in the same boat

i know its a crazy time

Thank you Egor!
My pleasure!

So can you switch to data engineering if the ai takes over ?
i am sure you can, but you can swap to many different roles
Sor what exactly do data scientists specialized in optimizations do . Like what do they need to know

as a physics graduate, my graduation project and internships are not related to data, so should I include it in my CV?
I normally just added my degree, you can include your thesis if you have space
Understood bro !
glad you liked it :)
Specialize in algorithmic trading.
good luck!
Brother your camera is refocusing every 5 seconds is kinda annoying to look at
i know, this only happened the one time on this video, not sure why it was the case
Seems like Mark Zukerburg😏
me or? haha
Great content, mate! but, please avoid clickbait, your content is already amazing, so no need for that.
Thanks! What exactly are you referring to?
@@egorhowellI think they were referring to the previous title card.
@@fattyflower2118 yeha I changed it. I agree it wasn't a good look
For you Idea? What is the best becholar that you advoice a person who Went to learn Data Sceince.
Hey, I am not sure on your question? do you mean bachelor degree?
@egorhowell yes.Which bachelor's degree is suitable for someone interested in studying Data Science?
any STEM degree is ideal
@@egorhowellI understand. Even Computer Sceince, Economic ore etc…
CS yes, economics less so
Are you native british , because I hear your words very clearly
yes i am
Very good
thank you
