watching odd eye performances after jonghyun's she is performances. jonghyun helped produce this right? he's developed a very distinct style in terms of sound and melody that's seen in this and his recent album. i like it!! this was one of my favorite stages from SHINee. i think it really highlighted the members individual strengths while emphasizing the group's amazing talent as a whole.
Jonghyun's songs tend to be more on the sensual side, or at least that's the vibe i got from him. But i absolutely dig this kind of concepts! Odd & Base were very well received by the public, so i hope SM lets Jjong participates in producing SHINee's songs more, maybe another title track like how he did for View? And i would actually love to see other members trying their hand out at producing too!
jonghyun actually wrote the lyrics and co-composed the song. it's basically his song.
jonghyun is already a well reknowned composer and lyricist. he has already written songs for other artists even beyond his own company. every SHINee member has written lyrics/raps for numerous songs and they're keeping it up. i'm so incredibly proud of them OTL

This performance is just beyond amazing. Also this song is just beyond amazing. They all killed it. It also makes me smile because you can tell how happy Jonghyun is about performing this song. I'm so proud of him and so happy for him that SM Entertainment is recognizing him as a lyricist and letting him write songs for SHINee and other artists in SM. All that said though....this song and choreography pure sex.
