Well, actually they did. They won the week before but was told that it wasn't theirs, because you don't win the first week out or they don't add certain numbers the first week of the song ratings. It was silly because SNSD had just made a comeback the week before them and won the first week, so it didn't make sense why theirs was not awarded. So, crying probably made her happy a sigh of relief.

Not all idols fake cry tho. I don't know but for me 99% of the time I can always tell when idols are genuine and when they are faking emotion. It comes easy to me but maybe thats cause I am more on the intuitive side of the spectrum so I am very observant when it comes to body language and feelings, and trust me the body never lies.
