As a Milan fan, it's a pleasure to watch how Christy is in Milano. I'm really glad to see how Italy treat Scottish players, which isn't so usual to see there. Great documental, so recommendable. 👏👏👏
This is one of the best things this channel has ever done. Brilliant. Would love to see more Scots in Italy. As Josh said probably more could make it from SPL, level isn't a massive increase.
I love seeing scottish players do well here in Italy, even though it seems like they're here just to prove themselves before going to the EPL. I was lucky enough to come to Edinburgh to see my beloved Fiorentina play against Hearts, and I loved every second of it: from the welcoming fans, to the nice stadium, to the wonderful city. Everything was perfect and I can't wait to come back! Ps. Lana's italian is literally flawless, I know she's been here for almost 10 years, but it's really not easy to lose your home country's accent. What a player she was for us, I love that she found herself at home here!
Now you understand how us Celtic fans feel 😂, the amount of players that use our club as a stepping stone to the EPL is frustrating but money talks and the EPL has the biggest 💰💰
Unfortunately he seems to be out of favour at the moment, spending most of his time on Empoli’s bench. Just 2 starts so far this year. It’s a huge bench too. On Saturday against Atalanta Henderson was competing against another 12 outfield subs and got on for the last 20 minutes.
Different gravy this & you have to salute every one of them for making the life changing decision to go to a different country & a better league. So many other Scottish players simply went down south & then drifted down the leagues & disappeared.
Had a little tear in my eye watching this: So nice to see young Scots leaving their comfort zones and being successful. Full of respect for them all :-)
Really interesting watch. Love how well all 4 players came across. Remember watching a shorter feature on Clelland when she was at Fiorentina. Feels like they won't be the last Scottish players we might see in Italy, and I'm here for it!
This was brilliant. So wonderful to see four young Scots doing so well and enjoying the life and culture in Italy. Hope we'll see more Scots in Serie A in the future. Forza Scozia indeed.

I don't know whether you've hired new people or given them a bigger budget or whatever, but lately your social media team have been killing it and this is their best work so far. Brilliant documentary, smart move to hire AC Jimbo (don't think we didn't notice the Tunnock's caramel wafer), fantastic to see the men and women get parity of respect, keep doing what you're doing.
looks like Max Johnston might be next. Hickey’s starred in Italy and I’d like to see Andy Irving in Italy, he suits the Italian game and could easily slot into a lower end Serie A or high end Serie B side after this incredible season he’s having in Austria.
They seem very smart, I admit I don't follow women's football very much, but I've to say that I was won over by Lana's perfect Italian and smile (her slight Emilian accent is beautiful); anyway, I think their choice to have an experience like this is a winning one, however it goes, it enriches you as a person. Not to mention the Serie A can also prove to be very useful from a tactical point of view, it can help to develop a young player (as they actually are). Ferguson in my opinion will be bought soon by some Premier club, is very good, but if he wants to stay in Italy while longer (at least 3 years I will say), I would love to have him in my team (unfortunately, I'm just a fan, not a manager). Sorry for my English and congratulations on the win against Spain. 🍺
Very interesting doco. Keep them coming. As an Aberdeen fan, I have an interest in seeing how Lewis Ferguson goes, he’s doing well. Fiorentina is my Italian team as my father is from there, but I wilI watch the Bologna games too.
