as much as i sympathize with the deceased man in the “assisted suicide” story, it’s also hard to pity someone like that or feel sorry for them. there is absolutely zero need to take someone who’s completely innocent and ruin their life just bc you’re unhappy with yours. poor kid did absolutely nothing to deserve having their life changed like that. they wanted to do something good and instead now have to live with wondering if they’re going to hell or not and feeling like a murderer.
I agree! I mean if you're going to off yourself, Don't involve an unwitting Accomplice! Tanaka was Battling his own demons which I can understand because life is hard and Anything can make a person break but he literally involved an innocent person who had no idea what he was going to do! OP for the rest of his life is going to remember incident. I don't believe he'll go to hell. Because he did not know what was going on and he actively tried to save him. But still that type of thing could really mess a person up for the rest of their lives. Even with an apology what he did was absolutely deplorable and unforgivable
For those who don’t know, a sudden change in mood displayed in a person who is experiencing depression can be a red flag of an imminent attempt on their own lives. Many individuals will suddenly appear generous and happy to give away their possessions, etc, and may appear much calmer and relaxed than usual. This is often due to a sense of relief that the individual may be feeling as they cement their plans. They often feel a sense of relief and peace.
THIS IS THE COMMENT ! Not always the case but more than often is and is how I saved my best friend 💛 if she never went through that phase I would've never knew and would have never been able to get her help and support her through it
While this is good advice I don't feel like it would've helped the person in the story. They wouldn't have known the guy well enough to know he had any mental illnesses or that his personality had changed.
@Ali_D_Katt I definitely agree with you, but ss prevention was never talked about with us in school or the area I live in. Honestly I live in what we call the Bible belt while religion is good and helpful in many ways, but the lack of mental health awareness is more damaging than good. Alot of things are put off on just pray and get right with God and youll feel different. If someone reads this and didn't know it, it could potentially help them identify people in their life who are struggling. If the guy in the story is real then it truly wasn't his fault. And that was a very horrible ordeal. It's just the behavior the guy exhibited is a very very big sign of someone going through that stage.
It breaks my heart how people can be so cruel and callous to homeless people. It's kicking someone when they are already down and totally uncalled for. They are human beings at the end of the day and deserve kindness and respect like everyone else. I'm so pleased he came through everything and ended up in a better situation with a friend looking out for him❤
When people do things like this to others, it shows how broken they are inside. No emotionally healthy and happy person would go around doing cruel things to people who are already suffering.
To boost their ego. Mostly when a prideful person had a rough day, that person will step on someone who is harmless, once a harmless person can't endure the pain anymore. that person will think of 3 options "commit crime/do drugs(including alcohol)/commit suicide".
The 5th story was beautiful in a way... This man was being kicked when he was already down, but he still managed to make his way back up, found a friend, and even a sense of faith, using what he gained to give back to what gave to him when he needed it. Seems to me, like a wonderful person.
It's interesting that you say that because Jensen Ackles from Supernatural said this very thing about what was the scariest thing on Supernatural to him when he was asked.

Crematorium story was great and creepy, but fiction. Retorts don't just "shut off" whenever you'd like after the sequence has started. Retorts get so extremely hot that even if someone were somehow put in there alive, they wouldn't be alive long enough to bang on anything or turn around.
Yeah, sadly most of these "true" scary stories on UA-cam are fiction. And while they can still be good stories, detecting that a story is clearly fictitious kind of ruins the immersion for me. When I want to read or hear a scary story, I typically prefer stories that actually happened or are at least very plausible.
Not only that but it has the phrase "I was taken aback by that statement" which sounds very similar to some other stories in past videos that felt a little fake to me. Could just be a coincidence or could be someone who spends their time making up creepy stories.
I love hearing these stories Joel, I’ve been hearing your content since I was 12-13, I’m now 17 about to be 18. All I was thinking during that one story was, "Get in the bolt cutter. Get in the bolt cutter. No, don't kick out the bolt cutter! That's bloody evidence!" At least it was still there when police arrived.
The guy getting attacked by gangs and having a gun aimed at him seems a bit far fetched. Mountian side cities don’t have gangs. Too few people live there. Tokyo and Osaka still have them but a bosozoku or chimpara group hunting down a homeless man is ridiculous. A pistol toting man carelessly aiming it at his head is also hard to believe. In the country side you can own a shotgun for hunting or bear/boar attacks. But to own a pistol you have to have 7 years with a shotgun and 0 accidents or arrests then you can apply for a pistol license. The police are so strict they are allowed to do random searches to make sure you have listed the right amount of Pistol and shotgun ammo at the closest koban. If you decided to wave around or randomly point your gun at a homeless person all your guns and bullets would be instantly taken away.
