@teresakendrick7516 Mr. Creepypasta is one of my favourite narrators due to the nature of the stories on his channel (which, I'm aware, are fictional). Corpse Husband is also one of my favourites because his very deep voice make for a more sinister ambience. However, he has not uploaded content in several years, presumably due to his medical issues, which he had been candid about in the past.
You know it’s going to be a good night when Joel starts off with serial killers followed by some camping/hiking stories, my absolute favorite! ❤️ I love the longer videos. It takes me a while to fall asleep so they’re perfect. Just what I needed, thank you!!
I agree, absolutely 💯 top notch. He actually talks to his subscribers and does lives frequently, which is an important connection to make and keep. Too many narrators underestimate how important that connection is and how much it means to their viewers. I don't even care if they're up and coming, if they read comments and respond to them, I think a lot more of them than those that don't. Mortis Media is another that talks and responds to comments. (Not many lives but he *does* have a wife and growing family so it's understandable.)
It’s only when I see the “Let’s Read” title that I stop to listen to the stories. Whenever I hear a different narrator, I quickly change to another channel… listening attentively for Joel’s soothing & calming voice. Sometimes, I only hear 1 story b4 falling asleep. Then, in the morning, when I realize that I’ve only heard part of the story, I go back to hear the intriguing ending, this time w/a more alert mind. His voice is definitely much easier to listen to than any other narrator I’ve heard b4. He knows exactly when to pause expectantly, raise his voice & imitate a psycho, a female, or a sadistic murderer. Many a nite I’ve fallen asleep to these truly frightening & mind blowing scenarios & realize that the narrator has made the story believable & become more alive. Thanx to this channel, I’ve been able to fall asleep more easily & I know that Joel’s narration has been the main contributor. 👍🤗 Since I’m really a “scaredy cat”, @ heart, it surprises me that I’m able to listen to them @ all. 😳
Joel you are my Doctor , my Therapy, I suffer with Insomnia among other problems in my life and I listen to your Stories and off I drift to sleep, when I woke up feeling relax,I then have to start it back all over again , lol , I start back where I know I left off falling asleep, just wanted to share this with you , I love you and May God Continue to Bless you, your Amazing Voice and your Stories 🙏❤️
You are a welder!! That's fantastic. You must be one strong woman 💪 thank you, for showing other women how capable they can be and that they can do whatever they want! I'm seeing so many more women getting into trades and construction, things that were once only thought of as jobs for men and these women are not only killing it in their field, they love it too. It makes me happy to see.
@valkyrja-- It shouldn't have anything to do with anything but sadly, it does. A female welder is quite unusual as it takes a strong woman so it's awesome to hear from a woman who is doing what was traditionally thought of as a man's job as it shows other woman that heck, if they want to be a welder or a plumber then they can. Yes, women can do anything but at the same time, I couldn't weld for 10 minutes, I don't have the fitness nor the strength and it would take me a lot of work to build enough strength up. My mom was followed by an abusive ex in his car while she was driving (I think I was a baby at the time although I'm not sure if I was in the car) but this is what she did to scare him off/what she taught me to do. If you EVER think you're being followed while you're driving in a car, drive straight to a police station while noting their license plate number and take note, if you can, how long they've been following you/if they had been following you outside of the car too and walk into the police station with the information...or if you're too afraid to get out of your car call the police station and tell them you're outside and why you're afraid. If you just so happen to know the person give them all the information you know about them and why they might be trying to hurt you. Don't exaggerate or belittle the situation you're in or they may brush you off. If there is another person in the car with you, have them film what they can on your way to the station if they can. Have them focus on getting the information so you can drive safely. Last thing you wanna do is get into an accident. In most states you're allowed to film people if it will aid in the solving of a crime and that includes a crime that is being commited against you. Do whatever you can to make them feel exposed because they ARE preying on you and predators don't wanna be exposed because then the hunt is over. You will not be prey and you are not powerless and you can even potentially protect people and give closure to those they've victimized before if their behavior leads to a conviction. By doing this you actually have a chance to protect others by putting the "fear of God" into them without being violent or being verbally confrontation. Simply pulling into the parking lot with information could be the difference between your safety/future safety of others and a bodybag. More obscure things have solved cases. The person will probably speed off and there is a chance that the car may have been captured on their surveillance system/had been reported stolen...which you'd hope they'd have in their own lots. So, before you even step out of the car, you'd have the license plate number, what the car looked like (the rough features of the driver if you're lucky) and a rough timelog of how long they've been following you. It can be hard not to panic, especially if it's the first time you've ever felt that degree of fear in your life, but think about what you can do rather than just what can be done to you. Easier said than done, I know. Of course there is always the chance it's a coincidence and that would be a real sucky situation to get resolved but dying or being hurt would be way worse...but honestly, it would be very, very, hard to give a sufficient reason for why they were behind a car for miles and miles (assuming it wasn't something like a stretch of highway where it could be anyone for any length of time) with all the twists and turns of a city or town. Doing something like that will scare the majority of people off. Do not get anywhere near someplace you haunt. Not your house, job or a place you go frequently like a grocery store or a loved one's place even if they have a weapon. Go straight to the cops. Even if nothing comes of it, you're showing that you know what is going on and that you won't be effed with.
Divine intervention! God! He stopped the bullet twice. A person of less evil would of seen it as a sign. Not that demon. Dad still survived. I could only imagine how great of a man that dad was. Hero. God bless

The Utah Cabin murders shake me up every time I hear it. All of these stories are sad but that one is a tear jerker for me. I did a little research and found out that there’s a movie about it.
Kids can sometimes handle more than given credit for. Myself nothing makes me more mad then something being held from me. That gets me more than what it was being held. I instantly dont look at it as being protected. I look at it as being lied too and betray
"Maybe it was suicide." "Maybe he was drunk." "Maybe he was hypnotized." "Maybe it was make-believe things that don't exist." I went to the end of that story about the kid on the train tracks, waiting for them to finally put two and two together and realize he was sleep walking, and they still never even suggested the idea. Holy crap, they considered demonic possession but not sleep walking. Staggering incompetence.
Rabies is both terrifying and heartbreaking. I can't help but feel bad for the poor animal infected with it but god, it's scary to see how it can make the animal behave.

I love the stories. Thanks, Joel.
The Utah Cabin murders shake me up every time I hear it. All of these stories are sad but that one is a tear jerker for me. I did a little research and found out that there’s a movie about it.
About to go to bed. Goodnight all 🌠
Soon as I seen 2+ hours I'm like yay
Kids can sometimes handle more than given credit for. Myself nothing makes me more mad then something being held from me. That gets me more than what it was being held. I instantly dont look at it as being protected. I look at it as being lied too and betray
My only request is to please add the tabs for the stories! That way if I’m not into it, I can skip right to the next one.

I just imagine this voice right behind my ear and an all dark room
The kid on the railroad tracks - could have been sleepwalking. The human mind and body is a terrifying thing.
