I will always be bummed we haven't gotten more of these gi Joe movies. I enjoyed both of them a lot!
I'm surprised they didn't try for a sequel. They did do the spin off for Snake Eyes, but that was a giant miss and complete lack of understanding of the character.

The funny thing is the general tank is a real vehicle called a ripsaw and the US army is showing interest in it as both a maned and unmanned vehicle.
GI joe was never as big here in Oz I don't remember the cartoon or the toys much

For sure! The first was a disaster!
i think lady jaye was the most cringeworthy part in this movie. she didn't even try to get into the character, or even try to look like lady jaye (short hair, green uniform, javelins), maybe people just ignore this casting cos the actress looks pretty. and what's funny is, even her action figure is bad as hell.
I really like Adrianna Palicki, but her casting was a bit off here. She's definitely gorgeous, but they could have done a bit better with the casting.

When I was 18 I use to love and enjoy watching a military action/adventure live action film franchise based on the highly hugely popular memorable iconic successful beloved famous awesome timeless classic toy cartoon-series and comic-book media franchise-The Two Live-Action GI Joe Films: GI Joe Retaliation & GI Joe The Rise of Cobra both on BluRay High Definition Disc because it was extremely fun interesting cool exciting and filled with very very great action adventure thrills/suspense peril stakes special visual effects and other great stuff and I thought GI Joe The Live-Action Films were very successful popular beloved famous iconic unforgettable and classic timeless military action films but but in January 2022 six months after seeing GI Joe Origins-Snake Eyes at a nearby IMAX Laser movie theater and liking it in Late-July 2021 I stopped liking the GI Joe Live-Action Movie Trilogy and extremely much started to hate & betray the Live-Action GI Joe Film Trilogy because The Live-Action GI Joe Film Trilogy is an extremely terrible awful unpopular hated infamous uniconic forgettable blockbuster film franchise in which they all extremely much failed to make an great impression from critics audiences fans and the box office in which the first two films were extremely very smaller box office hits grossing less money at the North American Box Office than their production budgets and the third film grossing a lot less money at the worldwide box office than the production budget and GI Joe Retaliation mostly mainly got an extremely mixed-to-negative reception from critics & fans/audiences and got extremely mixed-to-negative reviews from critics & audiences/fans and both GI Joe Rise of the Cobrs & Snake Eyes both got an extremely terrible awful reception from critics and audiences/fans and got mostly mainly negative reviews from critics and audiences/fans
There is another blockbuster action/adventure film franchise based on the highly hugely popular memorable iconic successful beloved famous awesome timeless classic toy cartoon-series and comic-book media franchise-Transformers The Live-Action Film Franchise and even when I was 18 I owned Transformers The First Four Live Action Films on BluRay High Definition and I loved them and enjoyed watching them all plus Transformers are one of my top sixteen favorite films/film franchises and the first four films are my favorites in the franchise I even own Transformers The Five Live-Action Movie Collection on 4K UHD BluRay with 4K UHD Dolby Vision HDR & Dolby Atmos-Dolby TrueHD for my Dolby Atmos/DTS-X Audio/Video Receiver-Based Home Theater 5.1.2 Channel 3D Surround Sound System and Transformers Live Action Films are one of the top 25 highest grossing mega-successful blockbuster film franchises with a total worldwide gross of billions of dollars with Two Live Action Transformers Films grossing more than a billion dollars worldwide against a budget of around $210 each and the first two Live Action Transformers films grossing nearly a billion worldwide ($700-$836 million against a budget of around $200 each) the First Four Transformers Live Action Films grossing lots more money than their production budgets The Live Action Transformers Films are very very popular/beloved famous iconic memorable good awesome classic fun interesting action-adventure films filled with a very good script story characters stunts musical score/sound effects world-building performances cast tension fun excitement special visual effects action adventure suspense thrills danger stakes and I thought that the Live Action Transformers Movies are a lot much more fun interesting and cooler than the Live Action GI Joe films and love the Live Action Transformers Film Series way way better than the Live Action GI Joe Film Series even though many of the Transformers Live Action Films mostly mainly got negative to mixed reviews from critics audiences liked Transformers Live Action Films way better than many many film critics and thought they were good films
