These are wonderful slippers. I love that you basted the toe box to the top before sewing--that is an old-school technique that makes for a nicer finish.

I will make mine and will certainly acknowledge you for it.. it's good to be sincere about acknowledging people when you get ideas from your channels.. During level 5 lockdown I made a pair of slippers using thick fleece with Ankara print fabric on top - beautiful & warm😍. They’re still serving me well.

Go to Thrict store or look into your own closet for worn out sneakers! take them apart at the seams (razor blade or cutter blade through threads) There is your pattern! Use old jeans to begin ist pair remember seam allouance. keep seams inside slippers small or trim after sewing... hard thick seams will rub and hurt. mmoption is lining... duplicate slipper using softer thinner fabric. slip lining inside slipper cast around opening to secure.. tacking at toe and heel with needle and thread to secure. Bingo!! hand made slippers! enlarge or reduce for others. heavy paper foot outline cut to fit will help with sizing others. keep fitting and sizing... fiddle with it to hearts content!!!
