Finally, the ultimate vampire slaying meal
I can think of a few bloodborne diseases that’ll do the trick
A lycan gourmet meal
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Every meal I make is a vampire slayer. Recipe calls for 3 cloves of minced garlic? Make it 6.
I'll eat pickled garlic on its own.
Love that stuff
Or vampire attracting.
The shoutout to Brian Lagerstrom is how he can tell he made it in foodtube.
His chicken souvlaki recipe alone made him the king of foodtube for me.
it's also a pun, "にんにく" also means double meat and that's why it's so expensive.
But it's only £1?!
@@eighteenfiftynine $13 actually with conversion. If the currency was 1 to 1 it'd be $19. Either way stilll expensive for fast food for just the burger
@ It's $14, ¥2000
@jeffkleist9679 It's $13.15. can't even be pedantic right sheesh
@@JohnyScissors I was talking to the person who said it was 1 pound
I think that Alvin is one of the best parts of Babbish nowadays, but I really miss his cozy 100-hour videos.
Whoa. Didn't think I'd hear a shout out to "Hey Bri" on here.
To answer your question on the “how” fast food places make their patties look uniform, I think you probably already know this, but it’s bc they aren’t frying them like Five Guys does on an open griddle; it’s a machine press + pre-formed patties. Easy way to ensure every product that leaves the line is of standard quality, which can vary if you’re relying on human error alone.
Burger King specifically uses frozen patties and they use a machine that is basically a set conveyer grill that takes a frozen patty and based on settings and time it comes out exactly the same every time.
Quality and, more importantly to corporations, weight. If every burger is exactly the same, the profit margins are exactly the same in any given location.
I love seeing what the team do with the leftovers and failed attempts, the kind of thing you don’t often see in prestige food content
Lagerstrom + dough = genius. He was born to bake. Incredible.
I love Brian Lagerstroms Videos. Always so approachable keeping me sane in the kitchen.
Shout out to Brian Lagerstrom! That bun recipe is fire!
That grilled cheese is the real star of this video. Spicy mayo as a butter substitute in the pan is a wicked idea
If I were to go for a 3-type Garlic burger, I would have used 3 different varieties of garlic. Softneck garlic, hardneck garlic, and spring garlic. And I would have incorporated black garlic into the bun.
That job of extracting roasted garlic from the paper is why confit is the FAR superior method.
0.0 AHHH! every time someone cuts into a bulb and is like "just oil it an roast it" I think to myself, what about if its rotten at the top. I have all sorts of quality of garlic from fresh to dried out, from sprouted to whole centers being hollow and moldy. 3 of which if you prep like Alvin did here you would not know. I always peel each clove.
FYI, Burger King in Japan is weirdly expensive. Japan has a ton of great food for way cheaper than America, yet Burger King is even more expensive than America. That sign in the beginning said 2290 yen, which is $15. Close to other prices I've heard of from Japanese BK.
That's also for the set which comes with drink and fries...it's not at all that expensive. Pretty sure your combos cost more but I haven't been to a Burger King in the US to confirm but that's not that bad for a set here...
Would be awesome to see you guys collab with brian lagerstrom!
Yep.
I'm definitely cooking garlic burgers tonight.
why is it so relaxing to watch 4 patties in one burger
Finally, the Wario Burger.
Buffet the Vampire Slayer
Wow those sesame seeds did not want to stay at all lol. Always nice to see that these guys are human and make mistakes too. Makes the meals they're making feel more achievable
I am a lawyer and I can confirm that there is no law specifying the amount of cheese required to make a grill-cheese, using less than 4 is perfectly acceptable and definitely not a crime in any ways. I personally use 2 slices of American cheese and grated strong cheddar.
I'm absolutely making this!
Fast food burger patties are identical because theyre basically cut with a ring mold and frozen that way.
This is giving me vibes to The Ultimeatum from Regular Show
My cholesterol was raised by at least 50% by just looking at that BK burger.
yoooooo, chrome hearts cross! looks nice, alvin!
I wish I could eat this right now. However, I'd definitely put a slice of cheese between each patty to help it stay together, probably starting with cheese on the bottom bun to help it not disintegrate while eating. As for the homogeneity of burger joint patties, I'm guessing it's because they are not 100% beef. There's binders, seasoning, bulkers to pad out the size of the patty without using more beef (breadcrumbs or something roughly equivalent) and onion and other non-beef products. That isn't necessarily a bad thing as 100% beef patties aren't necessarily as tasty as alternatives. (based on buying both and finding I actually liked the impure patties better).
do you think you will do a video showcasing some, if not all, of the recipes in the stardew valley cookbook?
How about making trout-flavored yogurt from Earthbound?
I can’t imagine anyone from Japan, other than tourists, finishing one of these 1lb burgers.
KINDA a collab with sunny, yay
You should make Demon Realm Burgers from Dragon Ball Daima!
I wouldnt be surprised if that video is already planned or even being worked on right this moment, Alvin's done a few Dragon Ball foods for the Anime With Alvin series. I keep hoping for him to do Fighting Foodons.
All these shout outs to Brian, but what about Sonny at the beginning? Best Ever Food Review Show. Yeah
Alvin should teach Andrew how to make properly-sized burger buns
You're amazing alvin! Please consider doing delicious dungeon 🙏🙏🙏🙏
So he made garlic butter and didn’t toast the buns?!?!? Come on Alvin!!! Missed opportunity!!! Lol
This gonna keep the vampires out fr
If you stack two patties on top of each other with no cheese in between, you should be on a list.
...... ever had a pb&j on pancake bread?
I can practically hear Wario frothing at the mouth.
Please make the pie Annie was eating in Attack on Titan
A diabolical amount of aluminum foil for that one head of garlic
i like alvin, his videos are great 😊
You should do Stroganoff from Symphogear.
Thanks for uploading this video
i want this now. MOM WERE GOING TO JAPAN
That look so tasty
BestEverFoodReviewShow x BCU crossover event?????????
You forgot to include Wild Garlic !!
You wanna make sauce extra garlicky? Just blend the raw stuff in.
Please redo the naco from Kim possible pleaseeee
Watching this right after watching a BEFRS episode is wild
Fun fact: garlic leaks from your pores. Depending on how much you eat it can be quite a lot 🙃
Watching this right after cooking myself a burger for lunch today is just so right
i miss it when it was just binging with babish.
sonny is awesome
I missed you Alvin
I'm curious what that springy bread recipe would look like when made into a loaf instead
Please make all the food from American psycho
Nice.
2000 JPY is around 13 euro, sooo worth it imo. Will need a diet coke to balance the calories out though.
Ooh, I want one.
can tell you that unless they changed something in the last 25 years (which I doubt) the char broiled flavor is all natural from the flames and grill they use to make the burgers. It is the only thing I like about Burger King burgers. Get the same flavor from Carls Jr and that is a better fast food burger in my opinonion.
japan has big beef with vampires 💀
I'm sure it tastes amazing, but man does it look dry at 9:54
He did squeeze all the juice out during cooking and then Let the cooked meat sit around.
When can we expect the Wondertart from Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course?
Well well well …… a truly galant burger you have there
The one thing that Gilroy is missing!
Hey, I ate one of those last year
Alvin rocks
missed opportunity to use black garlic
burg
Always wondered how does "Room temperature" get effected by season? like do I need to heat up my room to some temp in the winter / cool down in summer?
Watched Trần Anh Hùng "The Taste of Things" which was delightful. Can you all try to recreate that seafood vol-au-vent . I'm still drooling..
Burger 🍔
$20 for a fast food burger? I know is big and all of that, but holy s**t
I need this 🍽
vampires better watch out
I think you should have put a slice of cheese on each patty.
cooking with jewellery is nuts especially on your wrists
i thought it meant there was a pound of garlic in the burger
Are people really that worried about food waste, that every video has to have two minutes of talking about how people actually ate the food that was cooked?
There are probably some very vocal viewers, who complain about food waste, they are trying to appease. I remember for a while on many cooking videos the comment sections were full of food waste complaints.
Somebody better check those Burger King Japan kitchens for shark poison...
Does this burger have garlic?
I think a real, punchy cheese would have done better than the fake one.
alvin's jewelry looks crazy nice in his video, anyone knows what it is?
Alvin you workin out bro?? Those arms look like they're gettin bigger.
Double bread with meat
YUMMY! 👏🏻👍🏻😛
I've been really struggling with cooking stovetop burgers, they always end up as an oily greasy unappetizing mess that leaves me feeling lousy for hours after eating. Maybe I should invest in a wire rack and pan.
Dose it jiggle?
I'm surprised that this wasn't invented in America
Heart attack any% WR
mmm
What, no garlic sauce or paste while the pattyy is fried in garlic oil?
Bring it to america
Japan Made. Wario Approved.
Bigger burgers should be wider not taller.
More bun, toppings and condiments..
15 Dollars...
