Thats a hell of a question.Depends on apparently who you ask.I would say not even close to the engineering of a japanese machine. From my experience, fit and finish is questionable. There undercarriage is NOT robust. It can't be,there a polymer hub bonded to a rubber wheel.I've lost bearings at 800 hrs on the idlers, and Im pretty dam careful. The undercarriage needs to be well looked after and regular cleaning is a must.I would say YANMAR finally knocked some sense into ASV when they bought them and went to the Robust new undercarriage on the YANMAR track loaders. They took a driven portion of an ASV and put aYANMAR drivetrain under it,that tells you Yanmar did not even like the product for durabi;ity.I would NOT buy another ASV,I would buy a GEHL,Manitou,if you want the small track loader.I would buy TAKeuchi,Kubota, and now maybe even look at the new KIOTI machine that was just released.JUst my opinion while pulling an ASV motor at 1000 hrs in the past.
Hello Mike! Hey enjoy watching your videos. I wanted to ask I just recently purchased a 18 ASV RT30. I’m looking for a good source to find parts for this machine??
I just bought what idlers I ever needed from the dealer. If i were upgrading for long term,i would go to the upgraded steel wheels, there a a few vendors offering a more robust undercarriage part.Keep them out of the heavy aggregate as much as possible, and keep them clean. They do a lot of things good, but there not a tough undercarriage and require a lot of care. Thanks for watching.
New sub here my friend! great video!
Thanks,appreciate the sub,thanks for watching

Is it possible to lift the cab on these machines? Or maybe just remove the seat?
No cab lifts.Seat removal and fuel cell to do serious machine work underneath.
How reliable is the ASV-RC 30??
