What these ppl don't realize is that leffen DID work a normal "Walmart" type job while also streaming 5 hours + a day with less than 100 viewers for a long time before he got big (500 viewers and good Apex 2014 placement).

If Leffen was talking about Melee it wouldve held some ground on the hard vs shitty job arguement but he was mainly talking about streaming Ult for around 12 hours which comes pretty close in the shitty factor but odviously in the current pandemic a lot of people would rather take streaming rn.

1:00 It actually didn't miss, it phantomed. If you go frame by frame you can see it hit and the percentage move, but because the shine was stale, the phantom didn't do enough to make the percentage go up.
I don’t think it was just because shine was stale, you can see the percentage go to 0 for a few frames.
@@Joseh-le4yl Adding a 0 with the shaking effect happens every time you get hit with a single digit percentage (except 0). You'll see it happens again when mang0 gets the shine in the next interaction.
What's curious to me is that I'm not sure if Falco's shine can get under 2%. The smallest I've managed in my testing is 3%. Also there is a frame where it looks like the fox is flinching, which isn't supposed to happen during phantoms. I want to chalk it up to netplay shenanigans, but maybe it's some sort of super phantom?
It didn't phantom, if it had phantom'd fox would've had an electricity effect on him. It was rollback shenanigans.

If you look at the 2015 and 2018 player rankings you'll see that's not true. (Leffen was also ranked higher in 2019 but imo Mang0 should have been ranked higher anyway)

I would say that being really good at melee, for most people, might be shittier than some minimum wage jobs. most people do not love winning enough to enjoy practicing the same movement over and over for hours every day(not sure if that's what melee pros do but I think it is)
