I dont know how many years it has been since I've tasted a baked ham... maybe pre 2013...... Can you believe two of my kids absolutely hate sweet -ish ham? My mom in law used to stab spices in her ham and I did not care for it.... but guess what. I age it with a smile on my face. Family dinners are freaking amazing. You got me feeling kinda watery eyed. I know you are busy with things. I am sending kind words and positive vibes. This was a very nice video. I feel Blessed.
Talking about the water in that ham made me think of what I heard a Reelfoot meat salesman saying years ago. He said, "The water, she's cheap."......enjoy your Thanksgiving Mr. and Mrs. Foreman.
I didn't measure the water that cooked out of the ham but it was close to an inch deep in the roaster. I'm sure hey inject every drop possible into them during packing them.
Mmmm. Mouth watering! I’ve never prepared one of these. I think I will look for one on sale before Christmas. I would probably have to freeze the leftovers. Have you done that Jim? I wonder if that affects the texture or moistness of the ham.

Good ham, Jim. When I worked at Kroger Brand Foods in 1983, they were giving away spiral-sliced hams, and had been for years. A good tradition!
